Pulte only cares about quantity not quality. Our construction manager was absolutely horrible and come to find out he had no prior experience. Our homes quality is completely unacceptable and it was not even cleaned when we came home after closing. It has been problem after problem. The vendors I’ve had to come multiple times just to fix one issue because the communication is either not there or their vendors are just complete garbage and have no idea what they are doing. We have been in for two months now, and there are still things that were supposed to be fixed prior to closing that are ...

horrible finishes and quality

the build quality is horrible and the home was not even cleaned properly before i was given the keys on the day of closing. the build quality is such that , i keep finding some or the other stuff wearing off every single day. the construction manager doesnt even respond after closing. the island was never painted properly. just another sloppy substandard housing community which cramp into each other.

It's not like the model

We have somewhere around 100 footprints on our driveway from workers with concrete on their boots! We have dead plants because they were installed and not watered until after 3 weeks! We have tile in the shower that looks like a first grader installed it !The pocket door to that bath is 1 inch wider at the bottom of the frame than the top of the frame! There is a column it the hallway that is at least 1 inch out of square! That is what we paid too much for in this home! Not the quality we expect for the price we payed

To many things wrong at closing for the money we paid. Shotty workmanship on alot of different trades within the home. 6 weeks after move in, many of the fixes we have requested are still not fixed. Pretty obvious the trades do not care your home. Trying to get in and out as fast as possible. If they don’t have a part to something, they just leave it as is and move on to the next job. No accountability on the subs, the Pulte project managers need to do a lot better job holding the trades accountable. This is definition of over promise and under deliver.

Our closing date was rushed according to our construction manager he had requested the date be moved out two weeks but Pulte asked him to keep it as is (in fairness we were moving from out of state so both sides had a need to close quickly). With the date being rushed we knew there would be some punch list items that they would need to come back and take care of. They asked us to give them 2-3 weeks to make it right. We are not happy with the delays and lack of commitment to make this process a smooth transition. We have been in this house almost two months and we are still waiting on things to be fixed. The response time is slow and we are constantly being told we are waiting for a response from the vendor. We believe that a builder should have several vendors so that when one is slacking the the other can pick up the slack. The customer should be in this bind. I would not recommend Pulte to a friend or family member!!!!

Numerous Quality Issues

Our home had many delays which I understand is out of the builder’s control to a certain extent. But the quality of the build is sub par - there were many issues we found at our closing walk-through that took months to be addressed. Also, some of the materials, such as the paint, are very low quality. Our appliances have dents in them and most of the sod laid in the yard was dead when they laid it. Communication from the builder is not at an acceptable level. I will never build a Pulte house again and would not recommend anyone else.

Bad craftsmanship & over priced upgrades

The upgrades are minimal for the price you pay. The Team clearly is interested in volume over quality. Have already had multiple service calls for tons of minor things. They have been resolved but just a hassle. Also have a major drainage issue on both sides of my property as well as both sides of my neighbors do as well. Common issue in the community however they are laying down drainage is terrible.

Overall quality of material is cheap. Sub contractors do very minimal to pass. Paint overspray on new LVP floor. Scuffs on new LVP floor. Paint on outlet covers. Hard chunks of plaster under carpeting. Finish on garage floor poor quality. New home we has to spend a month cleaning due to above issues. I can see the joint lines on my ceiling. Pulte Mortgage...worst experience EVER and we have built 6 new homes over the years. JOB site supervisors...EXCELLENT, great to work with!!!!

After believing that the Pulte Team would fix several issues they didn’t. Ended up going through warranty and obviously their default answer is no. After paying a good buck on a house they would want to follow through on fixing even minor issues but no.

We initially chose Pulte because we believed they prioritized customer satisfaction and had a strong quality assurance process. At first, things seemed promising. Our experience with the sales office and design center was very good. However, from the moment the building process began we discovered somethings were not the same as discussed in the sales office. We were not advised that outdoor kitchen pre-wire was an option, even though we requested it. Sale process was quick, but too many issues with quality

While the buying experience was quick, and was given update on progress regularly, the quality of the house was poor, and it is taking forever to get the issues fixed. There were around 20 issues from which include some safety concerns. I am still frustrated following up on half of the pending issues 1.5 months into occupancy. My suggestion to buyers, don't close until all the issues are fixed.

The build process was a joke with a delay at every turn and everything blamed on COVID, but the same model house in the same neighborhood moving faster than others and then you're told "well that's a different elevation". If you complain about the delays your construction super would say "well you could be like this house who's been delayed for # months."
