Didn’t not have a good experience with pulte mortgage, sales, design center, or the builder. We ended up using our own mortgage company because there were so many issues with pulte mortgage. We had a few didn’t issues during the building process. Once the home was completed it turn out very nice but only because we stay on the builder throughout the process. If had not been for the area and the community we probably would have cancelled our contract early in the process.

It has definitely not been a stress free move process. A lot of rescheduling because of not receiving communication in time that walk-throughs cannot be met as things are not finished, or having to reschedule the closing multiple times. In the end we could not move the closing any further due to move out constraints, but the house was not fully ready yet 3 weeks after promised delivery when they were just one month out of closing. If they had focused on our house I'm sure they would have been able to, but it seems they were short staffed and had multiple closings around getting delayed, so ...

The builder is responsive. However, he does not follow through with his promises. We always had to remind him to take care of small issues. The craftmanship is very bad. It is a $550,000 home but feels like a $200K home. I would not recommend anyone to buy any home from Pulte. Huge regret.

A Disappointing Experience

There were a lot of issues with the new townhouse that we recently purchased from Pulte. There is a lot of unfinished work. When we report an issue in the construction, there is no response. The painting on the wall and windows are shabby. A deadbolt lock is forgotten to be installed, and another one can't be used as the latch and the hole are not aligned. And many more. When we report the issues on the Pulte website, no response. We bought this townhouse for location. In the future, recommend staying away from Pulte.

Good Side - Dealing with the Production Manager was excellent. He was one of the best crew members I dealt with. He was very co-operative in every stage of the work. Bade Side - My 3 star rating is mainly due to to incomplete work that Pulte has done in my house. At closing the master bed shower glass was not installed and Pulte committed me with a date of 07/08. However further to that there is no follow-up being done nor any updates are shared with me. The Pulte agent Rachael is always been helpful and very prompt on responding. The price is what you expected for the housing market around the area. Quality and workmanship is not what I expected for the value I paid for the house. There are still items on quality issues that still unaddress after moving here more than a month.

The home buying experience was great. The quality is ok. Not the best but not bad either. In fact I am ok with all of the build. But when it comes to the responsiveness to the issue, yeah they don't respond very well. Specifically they try to push the issue to others. The whirlpool range that came with the home is tripping 5 to 8 times every day and they told the problem is with the appliance. When the repair guy checks the appliance he says the appliance is not installed correctly. Pulte still tries to push the issue to whirlpool. So pulte is not able to find me a fix till today. This process started out well, weekly calls with the builder as the house was being prepared. They were very open and up front about issues they were facing, and the sales and financing process went very smoothly. (We used Pulte Mortgage) The issues started around close and in hind-site, we should have spent a few extra weeks in the hotel and let them actually complete the home. They missed the inbuilt pest control pipeline for my home. Even though they knew it before they did not inform me at all. Missed removing the test caps which ended up water outflow from my lawn and washer-dryer area. No proper installations, everything was made in hurry.

The home buying experience was good. The design center experience was great. Once construction of the home started, communication was sketchy. We had four different project managers (PM) and I believe the communication between each PM during the transition from one to other was lacking. The quality of the workmanship could be better for the price of the home.

Pulte Homes in this community is taking advantage of the market situation and building very poor quality homes. The building managers are over whelmed with the number of homes they have to work and not able to supervise the construction quality and missing several important aspects. Pulte homes is only intersted in rushing to close the homes without even having appliances and competing the home properly.I would not recommend this company to put your money

Our sales person was poorly trained. For instance, we asked the upgrade cost of a sprinkler system and he said it was not an option. It was, but we didn't find out until after we closed. We chose a floorplan with an extended kitchen. He said it was included in the base price, but when we got to the design appointment, it was a $5800 upgrade. I advise knocking on doors of finished homes and asking questions. The most important issue we had was closing on an unfinished home.
