There were issues that needed to be fixed before closing, but some weren't completed. I was assured they would be fixed, and I trusted them. After closing, the issues remained. I reported the problems and submitted requests, but I'm still waiting for someone to address them. I don't trust this builder. They took shortcuts to complete my house, and now I need to fix the problems. I'm frustrated that I can't get anyone to respond to me.

There is lot of air leak from all the windows and when we approached the team they informed us that it is how they have manufactured Did we ask for that kind of windows which wont stop the cold air coming inside Staying in Illinois no one needs a house like this We paid the amount for this house no one gifted this to us No proper insulation entire house cannot maintain same temperature Lennar was the best when it comes to quality

Poor communication during buying process. Excellent in on line communication however difficult to talk to a person. Sales staff say No to every request without an explanation. Had to speak to upper management several times for simple requests. Walk through was very unfriendly and so impersonal. Follow thru during first days of moving in was ignored by all. Had a burning smell in Microwave and asked in writing if they could look at it. Wanted them to pull the oven out so it could be unplugged. No response Had a fire in microwave 3 days later with the fire department at my house at 1130 ...

Nick was the only positive experience we had during our home purchase. He was very attentive and quick to respond to our new buyer questions. All other departments were very disappointing, especially the finance department. They were not efficient! We were given a lot of generic responses! We didn't feel like Pulte cared about our needs and concerns about purchasing our home. This experience felt like we were on a conveyer belt!

Bad experience with pulte mortgage and final walk through before closing

The guy Jinathan Roman who was giving a final walk thru was extremely annoying. He was constantly talking and not allowing us to really inspect the home during the walk through. He must be doing it knowingly so that issues get overlooked. The loan process thru pulte mortgage was painful, very poor communication.

Although the interior of home build was discussed and reviewed, the exterior of the home was not even an afterthought. We were expecting to have a front porch but our model does not have one. This was quite a shock and there was no review of model exterior allowing us to believe the photos we were initially shown of ranch duplexes all had porches. Pulte very unresponsive to our disappointment, almost negligent. Contract allowed no room for discussion or alterations. The build was also delayed from what sales representative discussed. Overall, OK, experience but could have been more better. Felt like we were not engaged well throughout the process. Felt very bad that we didn't even get any photo or gestures on closing. Not sure if everyone had similar experience but few home owners I,noticed had good reception and key handover pictures. Slightly disappointed having missed that.

Construction Side is Great....Pulte Mortgage not so much.

Tyler and Dylan have been so great as the construction managers and the best part of the process. 5 Stars across the board. However, our experience with Pulte mortgage was not great. There was a $7000 additional buyers' credit that was promised to us for using Pulte mortgage. We were two weeks away from closing only to find out that the $7000 credit was "miscommunicated" and in fact would not be offered. While all of the miscommunication come from Pulte, there was absolutely no accountability or ownership taken by anyone. The only one that took ownership for Pulte's mistake was us. ...

Would think twice next time

Our experience with sales was horrible after the contract was signed. Sales person is unorganized & needs retraining. Construction side was good. However the quality of paint is horrible. You cannot clean walls without the paint coming off. Pulte mortgage has too much turnover & we were shuffled around multiple times with loan professionals. When timing is key for locking in a rate, the communication is not fast enough. Ended up costing us a higher rate. If a deposit was not on the line, we would have walked away early on.

Great home and Great quality. Builders did a great job. My only complaint would be the sales experience. Our sales rep Kristen was unprofessional. She did not explain our options thoroughly. Communication was poor. But at the end of the day we are happy with our new home.

Poor quality products used such as granite. Poor workmanship. Window shades do not fit properly as drywall around windows not uniform. Cheap wood used on deck is splitting. During construction found none of bolts on lally columns were tightened down. Cheap, cheap, cheap! Would never recommend Pulte homes.

While our home-buying process with this builder started off smoothly, the overall experience has been disappointing. The quality of several finishes does not meet expectations — the interior paint is of noticeably low quality, showing marks and wear quickly, and the doorknobs and hardware feel cheap and poorly installed. Overall my experience with construction quality and material for cabinets are not upto the mark. Within 3 weeks of moving cabinets moved from wall and created crack in backslash and countertop . There is wide gap due to this. Basement stairs have gap and not attached to wall. Wall paint is coming out with a light touch . Cabinets paint is coming out . We feel not confident even after spending huge amount for the Material quality. Feeling disappointed

Extremely poor communication with regards to the "REAL" time frame for completion of the home build. They'll tell you what you want to hear at the time, but that's usually all it was. Telling you what you want to hear. Another very aggravating part of the home building experience was really not knowing precisely what you're building. They give you almost NO information about the exterior look of your home. What I'm referring to is the placement of windows wells, the number of window wells, and the actual look & grading of your lot. ...

The walk through was rushed. After moving in, we have experienced many issues. Leaves a very bad taste in our mouths when you pay 700k+ for a home that has leaks, electrical issues, etc. Probably wouldn't recommend Pulte at this point.

The home buying/sales part was ok. Just like a normal buying house process would be. Long story short… the house designs are beautiful and spacious.. I just would think at the price I paid I would expect better than my final product. Inside doors were horribly painted. The plywood boards underneath the floor planks make knocking/clunk noises as you walk around the house. The drywall in almost every room has been sanded down bad.
