The service we have received after we closed and PAID for the home has been terrible, actually it has been nonexistent.

No one should close and pay for their Pulte home until all the open issues noted during the final walk through the week before the closing have been completed.

This was not a great experience. My first review was very in depth but it ‘drew business away’ but new home source wouldn’t post it because they are paid by the builders to host their information - just to be transparent. This was bad from start to finish it has been months since closing and many items are still not completed on our punch list. We do not have final occupancy from the village. It has been a struggle every moment of the way. Good Luck!

I have bad experience with Pulte Quality of Building

I am experiencing multiple heater issues in my new house 1) getting big noise while running heater multiple times in a day in Flex room as well as powder room. Pulte management saying it's as per quality, I did check with multiple Willwood house owners and they are not getting any noise. 2) we need to wait 3 to 4 minutes every time to get hot water in master bathroom so we are wasting 15 to 20 minutes of water every day before shower.

Overall experience was terrible. It starts with Sales doing a poor job helping you through the many options. Then it continues with promises from both Sales and the Construction making promises that are never kept. The contracts are written to steer you to use Pulte Mortgage, who is non-responsive unless they want something. Communication is very poor throughout the process. Then to top it off, when you finally get to the ‘Celebration’ phase of the process, the quality of the house they built is not very good. In true Pulte fashion, the final walk through is setup 90 minutes before ...

Unprofessional Builders

They gave me an unfinished house. After multiple follow-ups they send someone to finish up some paint work, and he leaves it half finished. The quality of such expensive houses is very questionable with mesh door not getting locked, and flimsy pull out drawers in the kitchen.

Sales rep was not forthcoming and not up to date with information. It was obvious he was being cautious with what he communicated. Customer Care seemed more about ensuring that issues were addressed and closed as quickly as possible rather than focusing on customer satisfaction. Rep was not helpful and challenging to work with/communicate with.

We understand we are living in unique times with unprecedented challenges. That being said Pulte has failed in their production and delivery. For the most part the employees are well intended. There were minor problems with the sales department and mortgage department. These were normal and generally handled in a professional manner. Had so many issues with our home in Creekside Crossing Plainfield Illinois. Our sales experience was pretty lacking and it really relied on us to make the right decisions here which of course led to some gaps at the end (seemed like she never though we would buy, even after we put down our deposit). There were also quite a few options that were available but not on our options sheet which we missed out on (additional windows is an example). Don’t fall prey their pre closing experience. They literally don’t care once closing is over. We closed the house without the driveway and landscaping and it’s been more 2 months and we still don’t have driveway and landscaping . I have sent multiple emails to PM but all I heard is an excuse that it’s delay due to weather conditions. They did driveway and landscaping for all the new house closed after us and pouring basement concrete for the new construction which is far from closing . The weather rule don’t apply to them. I've been in my new home for six weeks. I've have had a lot of issues with my home, air conditioning does not work, no driveway yet, issues with the sliding screen door, pounding noice when heat is on and a lot of other issues. If I had do do it over again I would not buy a pulte home!!!!

I was not happy with the experience. I feel that they do not go above and beyond and once you sign they don't even call you back. They don't finish the end product.

Very poor customer experience before construction and Poor service after construction.. One time.. the Sales consultant told me to get out of the Sales office without any reason when I was asking some clarification, Change on the plan, and Requesting some documents for lot premium..(How it would be decided and any rule or process followed to come up with the premium amount.)
