Overall we are happy with the home. Purchased mainly because of the location. Have purchased Pulte homes before in other states and were surprised at the difference. As I said, overall happy but there is room for improvement.

Our Field Manager, Bill, was VERY GOOD. He made the experience less worrisome than I expected. He answered questions within a day. He took care of issues immediately. I would give him a 5 out of 5

The experience of building a townhome in Retreat on the Monon was ideal! Selection of materials is on site, and very nice quality, even the lower priced materials. The project manager was very approachable and clear on the explanations of the property. Our home was completed 2 months ahead of schedule!!!

We were early into our house hunt and we found a Pulte new community that would be close to school and other amenities. The price was higher than expected possibly due to location. The sales rep was honest and helped us chose the upgrades that we needed. Design appointment was excellent and Abby did a fantastic job, my only feedback would be to see if weekend appointments can be arranged as we had to take day off work to make it. Construction manager changed right before closing and closing date randomly set

Construction manager changed last minute so very little continuity in support. Closing date was also randomly set without any room for negotiation which was ridiculous.

We are among several new homeowners who do not yet have our sod. We were somewhat disturbed to see completed, but yet unsold homes get sod prior to our lots. It is not a good look for your company. It is not the way to treat your customers.

Buying Experince Great. People Skills Lacking.

The front office personnel was rarely in office. I called Pulte to schedule time to visit the model home and was finally able to speak with a rep. The first rep took a first glance and assumed we couldn’t afford our home. Judged us almost immediately. It went downhill with this guy. However Maitlyn was a breath of fresh air. She answered all questions and very outgoing. They say if you don’t have anything good to say don’t say anything at all. I’ll say Pulte Finance is abysmal. That’s putting it lightly. From the reviews of Pulte Finance, we knew to already have a backup plan. ...

Pulte New Home missing details

We moved recently to a new home built by Pulte. The house is fully functional, but Pulte could have done a much better job on details...there are too many scratches on the walls and doors, some unfinished parts etc. We tried to be very careful at the final inspection and we still missed many small details. Not enough towel supports in bathrooms, cheap faucets and shower...for the money we paid, we would have expected a better quality of work but when you build 20 houses in the same community and the same time, of course we are not paying attention to the details that are very important for ...

Overall the house is built well. I would encourage anyone to be picky and don’t let things slide just because it’s a new house. The finish work was just ok. And the attention to details was something to improve on. I would use them again with a more diligent approval.

From start to finish, there was miscommunication, incompetency, incomplete information from Pulte. They said they would fix things and do things properly, and this was not the case. Within all the Pulte departments, there was poor communication where we showed up to close and we couldn’t even finish closing as Pulte was waiting to hear back from someone about something needing fixed….which Pulte builder construction manager was well aware of needing fixed in advance- and due to them doing things last minute and rushing, we had to sit and wait at Pulte offices to be able to finish closing. ...

Our sales rep was wonderful! Our project manager was great. Everything else is average at best. Paid a premium but don't feel like we got what we paid for. Pulte also goes for the cheapest things possible to keep their profit margins high. Would not recommend as my #1 choice

In the end, forced for taking the closing on the same day when city inspection happened. Even the sales team put a fine; not sure why. Minor issues were not resolved despite my reminders. Pulte should improve the process for Closing day after the home completion. Third party home inspector was not given an exact home completion day; he came thrice. Pulte internal Quality process - BTQ- not sure when they did after completion.

Our sales associate Nicole was great! Steve the construction manager was great as well. The overall construction and materials used were great, i was impressed with all of the extra steps taken to build a great house. We were delayed 3 times on our closing which was frustrating and the the end result is good but not great. All cosmetic issues really just the finished product for trim and tile specifically seemed rushed through and it did not get a good clean up by the trades. My experience with buying the home was great. I am disappointed in the fact that I was told that everything on the punch list would be resolved before closing. It was not. After closing was told to go through the home warranty. During the move process, found more structural issues...part of the floor in the upstairs bedroom is missing but was carpeted over to conceal, snow blowing in through the walls. Overall, I'm very happy with the home.

The construction manager was available and responded quickly but the overall project was drawn out over 10 months. They left the house filthy, especially the floors. Expect to mop them several times to get the dry wall dust off.
