Our sales rep, Ryan, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. However, it was clear that Pulte is stretching its staff too far based on the lack of responsiveness from the building crew. We have also had numerous issues crop up after move in and it has been very difficult to get a hold of the proper party to place a ticket for these issues. Some of design feature are not good enough,closet,bathroom; Sale rep and showroom not detail enough with customer. Construct manager and assistant were responsding the issues.

Experience was ok overall. Happy with the home. Would have been better if all issues were corrected before closing or shortly after as agreed upon. All issues were resolved up to 1 month after closing. Staff was polite and professional.

Buying experience was good. However, not so much with build experience, primarily due to constant turnover of build managers (4) and inconsistent (at best) communication that came with all the changes. Build material quality seems very good, with some of the trades being excellent and a couple substandard. Upshot being we believe Pulte had more houses in construction then they had material availability, managers and preferred subcontractors. Expect the pandemic was a partial cause for some of the issues.

overall the whole process is good. However, some issues which were not solved before closing still remain unsolved although I contacted them several times.

I believe, given the state of the housing market, and the supply chain issues, it weakened Pulte’s ability to provide the product and quality home that we were expecting. It has been and still is a challenge to get a good quality finished, and completed home.

Takes way to long to have problems adressed

Pulte kept to the original timeline. That was important to ensure moving went smoothly. House plan and layout of house is good. It fit better than any other builder (for the price). Challenges were with finish-work and cleanliness. Throughout the project there was constant piles of trash both inside and outside the house. After drywall and flooring, there was mud tracked through, drywall clumps and dust EVERYWHERE, and the cleanup at various key stages was skipped. How do we know? All the trim work is embedded with dust that was painted over and occasional large drip marks dried in place. We had laminate throughout the house with slight overspray along all the walls on the floor. We pulled out the Oven and dishwasher to find clumps of drywall mud dried on the floor and dust that was never cleaned/swept. Terrible enforcement on simple "cleanup after your work" was enforced. Finish work was short as well. Finish carpentry had many gaps that needed re-caulked, poor touchups, and doors with chipped paint and scratches. What was the most painful was the flooring. We had hundreds of rubber hammer marks all over. These were pointed out with each inspection with the supervisor saying it would get resolved. On closing day, they were still there and the excuse was they simply wipe up. Turns out they did not. We had to use mineral spirits to scrub each mark and then rinse with water. We spent DAYS cleaning the floor and still find places. Ridiculous! The only feedback when conveyed again to the supervisor was that “those marks will disappear over time.” Overall, the house is built well and has a great feel, but fell short when it came to delivery at the end. When you spend three weeks cleaning a new house, it does not feel you got your money's worth. The bright point is our Sales person (Obie). She helped identify all the options we had to choose from and was good at finding answers. For example, we needed laminate everywhere and no carpet. She made it happen! We had several additions for lights added and other changes. She ensured all were identified and worked into the build. In closing, we would recommend and build with Pulte again, but be more hands-on with the supervision of the build. That was the part that was lacking. After paying the deposit, it's hard to find the builder when you want to find it. I don't know why.

The overall process of Pulte's homebuilding experience was within our expectations, however the lack of communication and remaining open items that were addressed before closing, and continue to linger for over a month now are cause for concern. Communication throughout the entire build process was lacking which caused different issues and items to be addressed at the last second and remain open. All-in-all we love the house, we just wish there was more responsiveness from Pulte.

The sales process went well; however, there should be better explanation of options and what exactly each option includes (or doesn't). The model home included some features that were not marked as options but were not included in my home's plan. For example, I purchased the optional spindles for the stairway, only to find out later, than only half the stairs would have spindles, although the complete stairway in the model had them. The home itself is beautiful, and I am satisfied with my purchase. However, follow-up deteriorated rapidly after closing. I understand there are labor and supply issues, but two months after closing some move-in punch list items remain unaddressed. And now I'm being told some things that were wrong at move-in now are "not warranted." For example, the landscapers planted a dead bush, which now is my problem. There are chips in the driveway that are "not warranted." I have not received the correct stove and a damaged microwave hasn't been replaced. I know there are appliance shortages, but I have received no information at all re an eta on these items. I think Pulte's outstanding reputation is slipping, probably due to some factors beyond their control. Don't get me wrong, overall the home is great and most workmanship is excellent. Pulte has the “commodity building experience” down pretty. They don’t stand out in quality but you can trust them to get the job done within the estimated timeline/cost. The communication was average as is the build quality. If you don’t expect too much, you will be happy with the results

The quality of the home is great. The process was smooth from start to finish. Pulte prides themselves on warranty, in which they have yet to deliver. Everyone that I have chatted with that built with Pulte has the same experience. If you have items that need addressed before you close, do it then or beware it may not get fixed!

we have only been in the home for 7 weeks but the experience has been very good except we would like to get more landscaping done before it gets too hot.

Would have been a higher review, however our salesperson was difficult to contact and was not competent in the homes he was selling. Flooring in our home began coming up within days of move in.

Wood Hollow is a great community to live in. It is in a great location.

Overall good. Attention to detail lacking. Urgency to get it handle needs improvement.

This is our second pulse home. The quality of the end product is significantly less the second time around. Examples. There are fifty pieces of tape locating blemishes in the paint. There is one tile in the master bath with a different color of grout. The attention to detail just isn’t there.
