It’s been very bad experience, in terms of communication and response. And new house has so many problems ,Including faulty equipment and it’s hard to get hold of people to get issues fixed. And closing has been delayed for months . And after waiting for Months and overpaying interests we still have to face issues like low water pressure and dishwasher, oven not working , electrical issues which cause inconvenience consistently in every day life.

We chose to build with Pulte because we had friends with a good experience and had never heard anything bad. However, based on this experience I can not recommend them. The process was very smooth up until we got to our pre-drywall meeting. Then things took a turn towards awful. Based on the recent reviews in my area that seems to be common. There is a huge issue with communication from the field manager here. It would take 2 or 3 messages to get a response. That "weekly" update email will come once a month. This is probably the worst company I have ever worked with. They don't seem to communicate across the multiple divisions within the company at all. We had to beg and call repeatedly to get updates and then had our closing date moved out 2 weeks 3 days prior to closing. The quality seems okay, but we found leaks prior to closing and they left us a present of drywall frozen to our garage floor on closing day (why someone would pressure wash a garage on a 20 degree day is beyond me). Our experience been terrible with these builders. Most of our stuff already needs repair and it’s only been 2 months since we have moved in. Our construction manager jimmy told us from the beginning that he has a family to go home to so no calls or emails to him on his days off because he doesn't care much about his job. I found building with Pulte extremely awful and upsetting. Pulte did not care about customer satisfaction. They FORCED me to close mid December without installing most of my kitchen appliances because they wanted the closing to show on 2021 books. They made me feel like just a number and really no customer satisfaction considered. As of February 1, I am still waiting for them to complete many items that were due to be done before closing. Pulte does not seem to care about their customers once the contract is signed and they REALLY don’t seem to care after the sale of the home is complete. I understand that there have been unforseeable delays due to shipping issues and labor shortages. From the sales team, field manager, to mortgage, the whole experience was bad. Through the long and delayed process, we had 2 sales people, 3 field managers, and 2 loan officers. Communication within the pulte team is non-existent and communication with the customer is equally as bad. Utility location is inefficient and materials used to build are cheap. I do not recommend Pulte

I had great expectations for Pulte when I signed the purchase agreement. The property is in an affluent neighborhood and I paid premium dollars for it. My last was several years ago with a builder in a similar area. My overall experience back then was way better than my current experience with Pulte. This was a very disappointed experience and unfortunately with all my 5 sales/purchase with Pulte. Quality, attention to details, customer service & delivery.
