Been in home approx 1 month and week. I didn't notice this on the walk thru, but there are some areas now where I can see the tape in the ceiling and even some small cracks.

The most important things, like structure, etc. were great. Quality of the most important things were great. Considering the cost of the house, the quality of the woodwork and the installation was not as good as I expected. Also the closets had wire shelves. Considering the cost of the house, getting wire shelves was not acceptable. The installation of the yard could have been a lot better. There are rocks, holes, etc in the yard. I'm going to have to rework a lot of the yard on my own. But like I said, the most important things were great.

We had a great project manager even after closing he addressed issues caused by a contractor after closing which we appreciate. We were a little upset to find out the pond isn't stocked with fish…. Even tho the sales people told us we could fish in the pond. This was a main reason we bought on a pond. That is why the trustworthiness rating was lower. I don't feel like sales has all the facts. For the most part the build quality was pretty good there were some minor things missed that of course we noticed after close, such a walls were not re pached well around window corrections and a piece missing from stair moulding. I will say some floor plan issues like doors going in vs out in the laundry room makes for a frustrating fit. These would be minor issues. Cleaning before moving in could have been better there was alot of drywall on the baseboards and I wouldnt say it was “clean” per sat like they said. I do wish our neighborhood had a park and/or pool like other Pulte neighborhoods. But we do love the smaller neighborhood vibe and close to trails. Pulte also has decent yard size as well and great buyer incentives which us the main reason we purchased as the price of the home and rate could not be beat with a pre existing home. Fantastic all the way through

From the beginning of the process the build was well explained and all of our concerns were handled and answered promptly. Jason was an awesome Builder to work with. He was patient, attentive, and open about the process, our concerns and any issues that did come up. Any minor items that did arise were handled and corrected quickly and accurately. As a first time home builder, we were very nervous but Jason made the process very comfortable and reduced our stress! Great job!!

From purchase to closing the Putle team did a good job communicating what was happening. The home is very well built, and we are very happy with it. The only issue was having the closing on a bank holiday weekend (Veterans Day). I am a little disappointed in not having an insulated garage door.

Re. Pulte I Wished On There Track Home Packages. If They Would Allow A Little More Custom Changes To Happen To Make The Home More Custom Look Like Crown Moulding Trim And Chair Rail

Our entire Pulte was very good in handling any issues we had from the purchase to closing.

Jodee was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, personable and motivated when we began looking for our new home. Jodee made the process easy and made us fall in love with the towns at Appaloosa. Scott (construction supervisor) was extremely helpful, conscientious and prompt in returning texts/calls to remedy any little minor issue we had during inspections and after closing on our home. Great service for new home buyers!

We love our new home. Only minor issues and most are resolved. The post closing issues are being handled rather quickly. Biggest complaint was not being able to get minor changes. We wanted a couple extra outlets in cleaning closet and storage closet. Not happening! Wanted to hang our Dyson vacuum inside the cleaning closet out of the cold garage. That was mission impossible. I use the under stairs closet for my crafting supplies. Wanted a second light or an outlet for a lamp there (saw it in a model). Again mission impossible. But, overall we love our forever home.

Building with Pulte homes was overall a great experience, our project manager Mitchell was great and kept us updated throughout. Since finishing the build, I have submitted a maintenance request for them to come check a leak from the sprinklers they just installed but I never got a reply.. hopefully they will sharpen up in after care, but the overall build process was great.

Overall is good, there is couple some small details that is not so good, but sales and construction manager are very easy to talk and reply very quickly.

Overall a good company to buy from. I felt as though our Pulte contractors were doing the best they could but seemed to have too much going on to be quick at handling some of our punch list items post closing. They were always quick to respond to a message or call about something that needed to be fixed or worked on, but the time to get it resolved at the home wasn't always the quickest. The worst quality issues overall were little things that should have been easy to remedy, the paint and caulk. the subfloor on the second level is noisy to walk on it. Constantly creaking to walk around. (I don't think the builders used screws or glue to join the subfloor to the supports) The painters who worked on this home took no time to tape out edges or even repaint walls that had poorly color matched touch ups. Additionally, the windows needed to be caulked better several cracks and seams. I know these things sound trivial, however buying a model property from a reputable home builder makes you think that they would have contractors with better attention to detail. Overall, happy with the home and glad we bought it but nothing is perfect but there is always room for improvement! ... More

Great first-time home building experience.

Shandra and Jackson did a great job with the house and Cody also did great even though the mortgage didn’t work out with Pulte mortgage.
