My overall experience with Pulte Homes has had both positive and disappointing moments. As a first-time homeowner, I was extremely excited to purchase a brand-new home and looked forward to having the peace of mind that comes with new construction. Unfortunately, shortly after closing, I experienced issues with my AC that left me without air conditioning for nearly two weeks during the summer. More recently, I also experienced a water leak that required part of my ceiling to be opened and drying equipment to run in my home for several days. I understand that issues can happen with any new home, but having multiple significant problems so soon after closing has been frustrating and disappointing. I do appreciate the warranty team communicating with me and working to address the concerns as they arise. I love being a homeowner and am proud of my home, but I hope Pulte continues to focus on quality workmanship, thorough inspections, and resolving warranty concerns as quickly as possible. For such a major investment, homeowners should be able to feel confident in the quality of their new construction. ... More

We had a great experience working with Tyler as the GC overseeing our home build. He was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and always quick to address any questions or concerns we had along the way. We really appreciated his attention to detail and how much he cared about making sure everything was done right. Building a home can be stressful, but Tyler made the entire process so much easier. We absolutely love our home and are so grateful for everything he did. We would highly recommend him!

The overall experience was 5 stars from start to finish. We are very happy with our new home!

I think some of the paint work could have been better

Would really like it we didn’t have to jump thru so many hoops when radon was found (it was at my home) but everything else including closing and insurance partners was good.

I purchased multiple properties. The preclosing hype was very high. The tone and drive to please and earn Kudos prior to the closing diminished a lot post-closing. Also there were at least a couple of issues that were identified before closing, and promised to be fixed immediately were not really followed thorugh. My concern is - why is there any problem in a brand new home to begin with? My advice to potential buyers- lower your expectations- you will be happy you did.

Closing delayed 5 times, often with minimal notice, still no cable or internet, with no firm hook-up date in sight, told we would get Starlink in the interim, but have not yet received it. Poor planning of light switch and vent locations and laundry room connections. Layne, Derrick and Mike are extremely responsive which is much appreciated.

The purchase process was smooth, efficient, fair, and we were treated professionally throughout the interaction. I would recommend buying a Pulte home.

Working with Pulte and their professionals was a pleasure. They continually kept us informed as to the status of the house and what to expect next. They made a stressful process pleasant. Not an easy thing to do.

What stood out most was how informed I felt throughout the building process. Questions were addressed promptly, expectations were clear, and I always knew what to expect at each stage. The team's professionalism, responsiveness, and follow-through made a significant difference in my overall experience.

Overall, my experience was positive and I'm very happy with my new home. The building process went fairly smoothly, and I appreciated being kept informed throughout construction. As with any new build, there were a few issues that came up during the process and after closing, and some items required additional follow-up to get resolved. There were times when communication and attention to detail could have been better, particularly with some of the finish work and punch-list items. That said, the team was generally responsive when I brought concerns to their attention and continued working with me to address outstanding items. I love the layout, finishes, and overall design of my home, and I'm very happy with how everything came together. I would recommend adding a half bath closer to the family/gathering area that the third bedroom can use as a bathroom. While the home layout is nice, the execution falls short. You are not allowed to make even minor layout changes, and the quality of material installation is well below expected standards—something that only becomes apparent after you move in and live in the space. It feels as though the builder has changed their overall standards to cut costs, stepping away from traditional construction norms without giving buyers the choice to upgrade to higher-quality materials or installation. Higher standards of workmanship are definitely needed.

Overall James in finance was the reason we got the house. He was easy to work with and we never felt rushed. The other departments were always rushing us and wanting us to help them do their job. Overall it was an okay experience.

I am really happy with the final outcome and truly love my new home. However, the overall build process from purchase to move-in was far more stressful and frustrating than it should have been. While the team was somewhat responsive, communication and follow-through on promises could have been much better along the way. I'd advise future buyers to stay very hands-on throughout the build.

I purchased a move-in-ready Pulte home and overall I am very happy with both the home and my experience. Before closing, the Pulte team did a very good job of identifying items that needed attention, and they were also responsive to the things I pointed out during my walkthrough. The house isn’t perfect—no house is—but it is nicely built, and I’ve been very happy with the quality of my home. I also used Pulte Mortgage, which made the purchase and closing process convenient. I did run into an unexpected and somewhat stressful issue when I was asked to provide information regarding a home from my previous marriage 16 years ago. I had purchased another home since my divorce and had refinanced that mortgage a few times without this ever being an issue, so I was surprised that it came up. In the end, everything was resolved, and the representative I worked with was very nice and helpful throughout the process. There were a couple of minor disappointments. For example, I was told my grass would be cut once after I moved in, but that was never arranged. That’s a relatively small issue in the context of the entire home-buying experience, but better follow-through on commitments like that would have made an already good experience even better. Most importantly, I love my new home and the neighborhood, and I’m very happy with my decision to purchase a Pulte home. The entire process had a few bumps along the way, as most home purchases probably do, but overall my experience has been very positive and I would recommend Pulte to others considering a new home. ...
