It was a bad experience , Pulte used bad quality of hardwood flooring , hardwood flooring installation not good , subfloor squeaking under carpet, subfloor so thin they should use thicker and stronger one like 3/4" or 1" plywood sheets instead of OSB , floor vibrating when we walk in some area ( maybe it's joist problem ) ,the furnace in wrong spot above the plumbing stack which should be connected to the kitchen and second floor bath , to solve this issue they connected the pipe to the basement drain !! now the plumbing stack used as a basement drain without trap and this issue cause a ...

Overall, the experience was below average. Everything felt rushed, a lot of small details werent explained. When doing walk through, there were too many paint jobs not done, material not yet built and after closing found some main house items missed such as drainage systems. Also leaks in basement which had to work through warranty for weeks to get done even though it was mistake from start. I’ll keep this short and sweet. Our home was ready for us to move in within the original time frame quoted so that was nice. The quality of the workmanship is relatively poor for this price range and for the fact that they are brand new luxury homes. When problems arise the team is pretty quick to respond which is convenient. Feels like PULTE rushes to build homes quickly with little quality control. Quantity over quality which should be the opposite.

The poor quality of the materials and workmanship!

The contractor I worked with was great and responsive during the build, but the quality and workmanship was far below what is acceptable. If you pay over $500k for a condo, the cabinets should not be the same quality that you find at Walmart. The floor has severe squeaks and the paint job throughout the house is horrible. I am so disappointed in the overall quality.

Within 48hrs of closing , during a family gathering, I heard a big sound and water came running from the roof ,making a puddle and dripping from the brand NEW house. Frustrating and an overall disappointing experience

While the work and communication with Elaine and Chad were quite good, watching the overall build process was very disappointing. The trade workers did not appear to show any pride in their work and their sole purpose was to get done as quickly as possible without any attention to detail. After move in it has been discovered that most of the products used are of poor quality. We are still waiting for resolution on an issue with one of the appliances that was in the unit. Not what we ordered and paid for. This appears to be coming to a resolution soon.

We were told during closing - Cosmetic things does not count towards overall house completion and warranty. Which is not not so great as this is what we see. Whatever is inside dry walls, we will hardly know of. Every warranty item has a tolerance level with respect to concrete cracks and floor levelling (so far noticed only these two). And certain things are designed in a way, so can't be fixed. Outside lawn is not covered and HOA need to fix any workmanship defects. The list goes on, I guess you get what they build and get at closing, expecting anything else is just too much.

Though we love our home & are happy with how beautiful the house turned out....the process was miserable and we felt as though we were just a number to Pulte as a whole. There were some individuals working for the company who we had relatively pleasant experiences with but as a whole there was a SEVERE lack of communication. If asked by friends and family, I would not suggest Pulte.

Pulte did not honor their word (sell promise). Big disappointment on the timely follow-up to close open issues. Pulte pushed to accept the house as it was right on the closing date, even when the house was not fully completed, as previously promised.

We moved in to a house with the outside property still under construction. We are extremely disappointed with the execution of the construction. The repairs to the outside promised were not done. The lawn has been a disaster waiting for, and the property is littered with rocks. Molding is not caulked and Pulte is now trying to direct us to put all the issues into warrantee.
