Look good before you buy

Ali and Steve and the building tram were the only part excellent...the sales woman Jennifer was not good at all

My personal experience with Pulte homes have been good. There have been a few challenges midway but it eventually ended well. The house was delivered as committed. The overall quality is good but can definitly improve on some final finishing details. However the response from sales and field team was very prompt.

At our final walkthrough, we were told to watch for any issues that may need to be addressed within the first week after closing. We kept a list after moving in and reached out to the job site manager on day 6 to go over the needed repairs. He told us that he would have everything scheduled or repaired within 2 weeks. We have now been in our home for nearly 2 months and the only issue that has been partially addressed is the touch-ups on our cabinets. We still have nails on our roof, paint on our windows, cabinets that don't close properly, cracked hardwood floor boards, torn screens, etc. and I'm starting to seriously doubt that these will ever be addressed. I had texted him (his preferred method of communication) 3 times over a 2 week period to check in on the status of the repairs, and only heard from him 3 days ago. He says that everything is now scheduled, but after so many empty promises already, I'm a bit skepical. My advice to anyone buying a home from Pulte is to go over everything with a fine-toothed comb BEFORE closing, because after closing, good luck getting anyone from Pulte to return your calls. ... 4 1/2 months after closing I still do not have my irrigation system or yard installed. Horrible customer service full of threats, but they do not follow through on anything that they commit to. I used Pulte Title and they did not pay the insurance at closing, although they say the check must have been lost in the mail. I will never buy another Pulte home. STAY AWAY!!!

Pulte BPC/Mudroom is very functional and serves as a second office on the first floor. The doorways upstairs are narrow and the air return vents above the bedrooms do not allow for privacy. Expected better workmanship overall for the price.

Very quick builder and delivers home as promised

Home is well designed. Mangg features standard.

The sales and home delivery process was smooth. No delay on delivery dates. Quick response on the issue.

Pulte makes the home building process easy. The timeline mapped out in the beginning really helped us understand how the process would go.

Price not worth for the quality of work done. Spent money on upgrades to get good quality/brand new items not items that are used somewhere else and items repaired due to damage done while transportation or installation. Issues are pointed out multiple times but never been looked into.

We had good communication with our builder and they are very responsive

Pulte helped us closing our new home on time. Pulte has to keep inspection report before even they schedule meeting with customers. Overall quality is good so far. Customer has to get blue prints of all the Structure, plumbing and electrical plans.if any repair comes it will be very useful to the customer in case of any repair after warranty period is over. for New customers: be prepared before going into design center with options that you want opt for. Pulte mortgage needs to offer competitive quotes to the customer.

Pulte homes go up quick and look good from a distance. It’s clear that the work is rushed and vendors are under paid by Pulte. Pulte will fix anything you point out but it’s a job to find everything. Why should I have to??? The finish work and paint is rough at best. The home was dusty and needed to be cleaned. They delayed closing because work needed to be complete which puts you in a bind with your move in date and forces you to settle with many mistakes. It’s a quickly built home but it offers a poor value.

Painting has to be better

Expected better attention to details. Doors not fitting properly, shingles loose, nails not nailed, bathtub cracked, window frame cracked, sloppy caulking or no caulking, and unpainted exterior wood. Many of these details were taken care of when we called.

I found the quality of work just so so. Would rate as an average home builder. Had problems from the start and throughout the build. Nice looking home, but you will pay, just like any other new home build for the upgrades, which will probably be a lot. A lot of problems along the way were addressed right away, others not so fast. You need to be very vigil throughout the whole process.

Pulte does a poor job inspecting the quality of their installations. They prioritize speed and will accept risk if it results in a short cut. We had many issues with our kitchen and it was on us to find and report them. This put a lot of stress on us. We did not find all of them and are now stuck with some damaged cabinets.

Need to make sure you are looking as the construction gets done. Some major framing issues with our condo.. Things are being corrected but I was a little surprised at how the place was not finished or cleaned properly when we closed.

3rd time building a Pulte home. This last home building experience was terrible. Workmanship was terrible and the materials used super cheap. Nothing was done on time. If you are not persistent nothing will get fixed. You hear the same complaints from the neighbors. No flexibility on adding options after the build is started. Example additional lighting when the electricians have not started wiring the house. I’m shocked Pulte would not reach out or try to accommodate a 3rd time customer. I would not recommend Pulte this time.
