Poor quality workmanship on high end group 4 kitchen cabinets. Very disappointed on wood work. You can notice many touchups and inconsistencies across the house. Caulk has cracks across. Today I noticed a major crack in the master bath vanity sink.

Hoping For Better

This was our first new build and it hasn’t been the easiest experience. We have been in the house almost two months and we are still waiting for items to be fixed. For the price we paid for our home, I would have expected the house be to be perfect and the highest quality - something it has not been. I feel as if once the house was bought, we have been forgotten about. Our neighbors are complaining about many of the same items as we are. We had expected issues to be fixed prior to closing and the same items have yet to be completed. I hope that Pulte will in the end fix our issues soon.

Poor communication from field manager

Communication from construction/field manager just has been really poor that I have to give a poor rating despite all other parts of the process being relatively positive. Initially provided dates are never right and promised dates have been broken too many times. I assure you that these problems are not supply chain related because items arrive on time. The problem is in giving incorrect information too many times over and over.

Field manager over-promised and under-delivered so many times

Would not do it over again given the chance and I think that's about sums up how I feel about the process and our new home with Pulte. We were made to feel bad when we brought up issues. We were treated as if we were wrong in many instances. Just terrible customer service for the money we paid.

We felt really good when we signed, but once building was started the work was rushed and we felt like we were nagging when we pointed out issues. Now that we're in the house we keep finding things that annoy us. Such as the slightest finger touching a wall will leave a mark because they used very cheap, flat paint.

Too many issues in a brand new home

We were very excited to buy a new home from Pulte, but unfortunatelly our experience has not been very pleasant. We had a defective range that leaked gas the first time we cooked. In fact, the range had been fixed for a different defect prior to our close. It has been a lenghty and exhausting process to finally get to the point where it will be replaced. We are waiting for it to arrive. There were multiple little issues with drywall, cabinets, paint, fireplace, chipped lighting fixtures etc. Most have been resolved, but it's quite disappointing to see these things were missed or considered ...

Not at all happy with the purchase. We like the layout hence we went with it, but the sales agent we worked not at all knowledgeable and we are suffering implications because of it. Also pulte management is not at all flexible on things compared to other major builders. Also the things included in standard price not good , also build quality as well not great as even paint, trim etc are very sensitive

Poor workmanship and pathetic service to construction issues

One would not want to buy a new home only to see rain water coming in, uneven floors, cranky garage doors, trash provision missing, appliances not working, etc. Unfortunately, this has been our experience. Raising concerns have not helped either - our point of contact for construction (at the time of closure) verbally assured us these would be taken care of but after about 4 weeks simply came back to say he/she has taken care of all issues without doing anything. I believe one would be better off using their money for other options - my acquaintances who went for other communities close by ...

Worst Service Response and Poor Construction Quality and Weak Construction manager

My daughter couldn't move into her bedroom for 2-1/2 weeks after closing because of a ceiling repair that lacked any sort of management. That will be her lifelong memory when thinking of moving into a brand new home. Celebration punchlist items still outstanding after two months.

Wouldn’t buy again with Pulte

Our Home was initially promised to be delivered Q2 of 2022 but finally got closed in Nov 2022. While we understand there could be delays in construction, there was hardly any communication from Pulte on the delay. We had to ask them a status every month and only then we would get a status from the construction manager. They were unapologetic for the delay as though it’s not their problem at all. For every small issue, we were told to look at the 100+ page contract. There were many issues even at closing which Pulte agreed to fix and few of them are still pending after 2 months. If I new my brand new home would have so many issues and pulte refuses to accept there mistakes and correct them. We are blamed for poor building and workmanship and they call it cosmetic. Be ware, I should have done my research and never bought from you. You don't stand beyond your work. Quality is horrible

Great House on the Inside. Builder Misled Buyers About Landscaping

When I signed my Purchase Agreement for my townhouse, I signed a document that stated Included Features and listed under Exterior it stated that I would receive a “Fully Sodded, Irrigated, Landscaped Yard.” Instead when they installed landscaping half of the front yard contained mulch with plants and the other half and the boulevard was filled in with rocks. Would not recommend to anyone! The overall experience was a disaster from beginning to end. Mark the project manager was the only thing that saved face in the company. From lying to no response from people we were not happy home buyers. Now living in it a month we are really seeing the poor craftsmanship in a lot of the features.

I regret building my home with Pulte. I would have given zero stars but that was not an option. I experienced countless issues with build quality. I brought these issues to the attention of the job superintendent Dylan. Even after I had an independent inspector come and I showed the report to Dylan, he would still not fix the issues. To make matters worse, not one person at the company ever listened to my complaints. Not one person. I'm marking the review as anonymous because I do not want any retribution from this company.

Immense Disappointment

Workmanship is poor, at best. Windows were different measurements resulting in blinds not fitting, Finish work from flooring to sanding and painting is substandard for new home expectations. Loan consultant would not return my calls AND emails. It had been a terrible experience and wish there was a lemon law for new home purchases. The home will be on the market as soon as the rest of the developers is closer to completion. Buyer beware.

Compromising with the Quality and not fulfiling the commitments.

I bought the house recently and not happy because of the below reasons: 1. No provision for trash Bins in the Kitchen. No one communicated about this during signing of the purchase agreement. 2. Due to cost cutting, corner space in the kitchen wasted (they have simply blocked about 12 cubic ft storage space in kitchen). 3. No SOD in the front of the house which was committed during purchase meetings. 4. Partial SOD in the backyard, no proper grade work resulting water accumulation/breeding area for mosquitoes. 5. No play area for kids in community.

We were under contract for a specific package - after signing, Pulte changed the paint and carpet package and told us if we don’t like it we can back out of the purchase (Jake).
