Many defects surfaced as soon as we took possession of the home and the home was being lived in.

We were very excited to buy a new home from Pulte, but unfortunatelly our experience has not been very pleasant. We had a defective range that leaked gas the first time we cooked. In fact, the range had been fixed for a different defect prior to our close. It has been a lenghty and exhausting process to finally get to the point where it will be replaced. We are waiting for it to arrive. There were multiple little issues with drywall, cabinets, paint, fireplace, chipped lighting fixtures etc. Most have been resolved, but it's quite disappointing to see these things were missed or considered "acceptable" through quality assurance inspections. From office manager to field manager, we felt each one took an interest in our investment and our personal interests and concerns.

Nice having a brand new home however, quality is not great. Unmatched paint issues, service issues, carelessness.

My home is beautiful. I love it.

This detailed finishing work isn’t what I was expecting. We were left with many spaces, shadow lines, seams and some major flaws in our sheet rock mud. A little disappointing.

Mixed bag of individuals throughout the process. Some parts went well: our construction site manager is responsive and cares about her work. Sales is typical: brash, not super helpful in reviewing *all* details, very “hands tied” approach. It felt more like a transaction than any partnership. TBD on exterior work and warranties. Talk a good game but I am a bit hesitant to believe it given neighborhood chatter. Do research and be VERY vocal at all stages for your home; it’s not worth it to have surprises come up due to Pulte’s lack of transparency (despite all the workbook binders they provide). ... More

You are in good hands with Blaine as he is very responsive and friendly. He goes above and beyond to make sure your home building experience is the best thing to ever happen to you. I would recommend Pulte 100% just because of Blaine.

quality of homes is great so far. the materials are high quality.

Every step of the process with Pulte was great! We had an excellent sales manager that answered all of our questions and felt like a go-to guide throughout the process, better than any other builder we talked with. The construction team was also wonderful! Our construction manager was very trustworthy and knowledgeable and made us feel like our home was in good hands at all stages of the build.

Quality Construction and delivery of the is great. But we noticed couple of things to be improved. After closing home response is not that great. Need to understanding the customer pain. Simply saying after touching some rough-ins they will say warranty will be gone, At the time of closing also co-ordination not that great for colleting the keys.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with a new home build and only heard stories about negative experiences. I’m pleasantly surprised to report that my experience has been great. Be aware that you will need to pay attention to the details. The framing, foundation, trim, appliances, and design selections. As a buyer, you are purchasing YOUR home. It’s in your beat interest to be highly involved in the build process. If your expectation is a HGTV hands off experience you may find yourself disappointed. Stay engaged with the process. Find all pictures you can representing the features and materials you want included in your home that Pulte provides so that there are no surprises at the final reveal. Pulte subcontracts its work. Some of the craftsmanship is of great quality, others I wouldn’t mind gutting and starting over. Remember Pulte mass produces these homes - some of the work is rushed and it is evident. Once work is complete, they will not remove and start over. They will simply put a bandaid on it. Recommend buyer stopping by the home frequently. Highly recommend making two design appointments. We felt rushed through that portion of the process. Staff is kind and provides timely responses. Ask questions especially at the design appointment.

The timeliness and transparency of the process was great. Our construction manager (Kari) sent us weekly updates so we knew what was going on the entire process.
