Would probably not buy with Pulte again. House was rushed to meet their deadline. Warranty having to repair things that were already repaired prior to close. Very unhappy about this.

Disappointed

After careful decision of which builder to purchase our retirement home and Pulte with good reputation we were very disappointed. From sales to home building supervisors. The home was delivered very poor with so many things to fix. With spending too much on options and they were not in excellent condition. The luck of communication to make the homeowner feel assure is definitely not there. We have to do the follow up ourselves and hope that it’ll be taken care of.

Pulte from best to worst

The best part of Pulte is the sales people that sell you on the house. They are polite and responsive. Everything after is a nightmare. So many issues with the build. Everything is broken and after living here for a month, the tape starts to peel from the walls. They use cheap and unqualified laborers sub-contracted 3 times over to save as much money on your build as they can. I have multiple broken items, broken quartz sink, broken stove, cracked upgraded glass, and so much more. All on a new house that cost about 1 million. They pretend to follow up but don't. They just send emails and ...

Worst framing I’ve seen in years. Studs missing, no corner studs, single king studs around window openings holding up thousands of pounds of roof tile. Electrical wiring pulled with the sheathing pulled off of it. Wires taped together buried in the walls. Outlets covered resulting in excessive opening made in the drywall to locate them. Gas lines moved and only tested after I questioned them About it. Names constantly missed spelled in documents and even yelled at our lender on the phone because they thought it was a robo call - really your a business! I would never had boy this Property ...

I had my last walk through on November 21st and I closed on November 26th things that were supposed to be fixed 3 days after my last walkthrough and before getting my keys are still pending today 1/15/19 counter tops had to be replaced 2 times and during a replacement my other counter top got damaged. Contacting Juan the constitution manager is a joke.. never answers calls or messages and email replies take for ever he even blocked 2 of my phone numbers. How professional is that? I work in a place with over 2000 team members a lot of my coworkers ask me if I’m happy with my house and if I ...

rushed to close

seems like everyone is trying to get their bonus and hit their goals by rushing to close. After moving in, I realized there are excessive amount of repairs and fine tuning needed (very sloppy work). Spending few minutes in each room during walk thru is completely insufficient. That burden should not be placed on homeowner and it should be with the builder/field manager. Paint drips all over the floor and carpet, gaps and chips throughout the house, loose faucet/sink, etc..etc.. Seems like there are too many homes going up at same time and not enough quality control and not enough field ...

Terrible Home Build

Terrible customer service. Entire neighborhood in Blackrock is upset about the problems and multitude of issues they have had with their home. Beer bottles found in our attic left from their workers. Our entire flooring has to be re-done. Cabinets were putting In incorrectly. We have paint issues all over the home. Broken doors and selves in the bathroom closets and storage spaces. Broken doors that were not replaced. Incorrect placement of dual twin water heaters. Incorrect plumbing that was done and needed to have plumbers come and correct. Things as simple as having the toilet rolls placed ...

Pulte is not a quality builder

The Pulte home we just purchased is our fourth new home purchase and has been the most disappointing experience by far. Pulte is the exclusive builder in the area we purchased in. After numerous meetings with a sales agent we were not made aware of some key design options. One was very important and not explained thoroughly. The total costs for what I consider to be modest upgrades represented more than 50% of the base cost of the home/lot. An example of the lack of trustworthiness is on our cabinets. Spent $38K in upgrades and after closing we started to unpack and all of the 24" deep ...

Horrible Experience

The quality of workmanship on these houses is extremely disappointing. 1 month in and they have to replace the sub-floor in the laundry room because it has a huge hump in it (FYI-Pulte knows this is an existing issue in all Modena homes) and have to tear apart and move a wall because it is not straight/square with the rest of the area. This shows the poor workmanship by the framer. The framer comes in and complains the whole time about making the repair and blaming it on other trades. The field management team and their unprofessional from day 1. They did not make the repairs necessary that ...
