Home was delayed by 6 months past initial closing Time, workmanship is terrible and repairs have still not been completed at month after moving in, financing with Pulte mortgage was a complete disaster.

Pulte has a cookie cutter approach to home building and they don't deviate from the pattern. The good news is continuous improvement by doing the same thing better. The bad news is lack of flexible in design by the homeowner. From my viewpoint, I am willing to give up flexibility for tried and true quality. I am very happy with the quality build of the house.

This was the first time we had a new house built and will definitely be the last. We had no idea what we were getting into. The day we put our deposit down we were instructed that we had to choose the plan we wanted that day. Next we were instructed to meet with the interior design team to pick out what we wanted inside the house. We were allotted only 3 hours to pick out everything from granite to cabinets , flooring and paint. I wished we were given more time as 3 hours is not near enough time to decide. Try to come to the community with a Realtor to represent you and help you in the process as some of the conversations with Sales are vague and will not go into details about what you could get in your home. Yes, they will go over pricing of additions but you'll discover the reality at the Design Center appointment and some more while your home is being built. Also hire an Inspector to do your phased home inspection as we had lots of flaws brought to them during the inspection reports during construction that we would not know about if we just hired an inspector for the before closing ...

We really enjoy our home, but the warranty items that need to be addressed after moving in....have been a challenge. We've had appointments scheduled, where no one has showed up to work having to be redone. Really enjoy the community and area....the customer service could have improvements.

As I moved into my home I found a lot of things that I am not pleased with... like water damage to one of my doors, the toilet paper wall mounts too close together... uneven walls... drywall issues... rust stains in my tub.... and the fact that the place was not cleaned before I moved in... I have to mop, clean cabinets, bathrooms, the whole house before I could move my stuff in...

I highly recommend working with a smaller, more localized builder or purchasing an existing home and working with a contractor you can pay more attention to detail with along the way in order to customize. Overall, we like our home because we chose the neighborhood over the floor plans to begin with, but we are also willing and able enough to fix the mistakes made by the builder on our own and with the help of [capable] contractors. Based on the quality of work, we are glad we passed on several builder upgrades so that we can have them installed by true professionals.

Pulte puts together a beautiful home, very pleased with it. However, after just a few weeks already noticed a handful of areas where there wasn’t as much detailing in the final product as was initially portrayed. Would still recommend Pulte and purchase from them again.

The Pulte team that worked with us to build our Vanderbilt model at Chapel Cove was excellent. This includes the sales rep, design team, build team and field manager, as well as the mortgage team. Everyone was very responsive to our issues and were attentive to our questions/requests, especially as we weren't local and were only able to visit the home site on a few occasions. 3 main issues throughout the 19 month construction process...yes...19 months. 1.) Poor communication throughout the organization 2.) Poor timeliness in the building timeline 3.) Quality of workmanship was below average. If you're looking for a builder with a lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and blatant basic construction flaws, then Pulte is your company. A company that is clearly interested in THEIR bottom line. Worst buying experience I've ever had in my life.

This house is by far the worst quality build I have had in all my homes. We have safety issues in our yard that has not been correct after several requests. This is a common theme they do not follow through. Myself and other in our neighborhood agree that there is a lack of oversight on the subcontractors. The site supervisor do not roughly inspect the work completed. Our living room ceiling was not built according to plans and it is two feet lower. After submitting an offer that was excepted, a deposit was made, and a very important item that was agreed upon was taken away.
