The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the paint and drywall issues inside the home are overwhelming.

The overall workmanship of the paint, floorboards, and Sheetrock taping seemed to be ok. There are some areas where the work looks amateur-ish. Some floor moldings didn’t get covered thoroughly with paint, and when carpet was installed there are cuts in floor moldings made by the knife used to install carpet. There are areas in Sheetrock were you can see the seams. 2 weeks After we closed my stove shorted out, and there was a crack in one of the tubs upstairs. Both issues were resolved quickly.

Great home for us. Our first new build. Very happy with the construction.

A slight communications issue on a couple of things. They were resolved. Always courteous and polite. No major problems.

The house is very structurally sound. Very impressed with this aspect of home.

High costs for options

The builder did an excellent job to keep the timeline.

Had some unique issues to start before moving into the new house, but pulte apologized and made good on those problems. We love our home and feel we made the right decision moving here.

The sales staff were wonderful and extremely helpful Our site manage who did a system walkthrough was very helpful as well (Wayne) I only have a few issues. The entire house has soft close drawers, except for some reason in the primary bathroom. The cabinet doors are soft close but the drawers are not. The other issue I have is measurements. The rafter joists are inconsistently spaced (at least in the garage so I couldn't hang storage bins, poor craftsmanship there.) Those things aside, we love the house and the neighborhood.

Our Sales person was awesome, she guided us perfectly through the beginning process. Our Building supervisor was also an awesome person, fun to talk to, but he didn't do what he had promised us , which left us no choice to see help from other management. The end result was good,...it just could have been a little smoother.

Overall the project manager does his best to resolve building issues and he is very responsive to our concerns. The subcontractors need more attention to resolve and detail.

We were very disappointed with the stone veneer on the front of the house; it doesn't go all the way to the ground I haven't seen any other homes in this development with the stone veneer. All the homes with brick or siding go all the way to the ground. We were told something about water seepage but that was incorrect. We were told it was a code thing but the inspector came out, he said it had nothing to do with the code. And then we were told that that's just the way Pulte does it. It looks absolutely horrible! I can't imagine that Pulte would be proud of this. No one from Pulte has offered to fix it or make it look better. Do not choose the stone veneer! ... More

Everyone has been very nice and Daniel has always been helpful and has responded to our questions and issues in a timely manner. Our complaints are with the quality of finish work and painting that leave a lot to be desired. We know everyone is busy and on time schedules but this is the last home we planned to buy and really didn't want "projects" when it was "move-in ready", plus we invested a lot of money to buy the home! Dealing with paperwork online (with people in Colorado) was confusing for us... we are not up with modern technology and we were often very frustrated with the process. We love the location and our neighbors and wish we didn't have issues with what has been mentioned. ... More

The sales and design process was great. Sales team upfront and helped with many issues. You have to do your research with design phase but Pulte has a good website that really helps. They have a design meeting that helps pull everything together. Things did not go as well with final stage of building. Up to the last few weeks things seemed to go as planned. During the last few weeks there was a rush to complete. We offered to delay closing but we’re told Pulte management did not want to do that. Unfortunately we agreed and our home was not completed at time of closing. It has been a constant battle to get things done. I waited to give this review to see if things got better. It is now over 30 days past closing and we still have several work orders outstanding. Most seem like small issues but it makes us wonder about quality of thing we cannot see. ... More

Pulte sales team is top notch and design center is well organized and easy to pick out things. The design and some of the craftsmanship is well done. The finish needs some work. Spackling, Nail pops, lines in ceiling, spaces in flooring Give the home an unfinished look. I’ve had a difficult time scheduling to fix some of these items. As a professional I expect E-mails at least be answered within 48 to 72 hours. You get a generalized email (automated) but nothing of a dressing concerns or scheduling to fix concerns.My best advice would be is to not close until everything in your house is fixed and to your liking. Do not believe that they will come out within the first 30 days and fix any items that need to be corrected. We are over the 30 days and I’m still waiting for a scheduling date. Very nice home floor plans & options/interior selections, great structural framing, but poor finish work: you can see drywall seams, dings/gouges in door trim, poor paint coverage on trim (can see nail holes). Won’t do it right the first time, but can do it under warranty after you move in (maybe?)!

After making a deposit, we waited months for our home to begin construction. We paid for an unfinished garage. However, the sheet rock, tape and mud were a mess and required a professional to smooth out the wall and make them paintable. All of this was added expenses that could've been avoided.

Check rooms before closing; we had one room with no electrical outlets

too many workmanship issues with promises to be repair under the warranty period.

They cheap out on good Materials. Like paint , siding , concrete driveways crack ,and the sod they use is terrible

We closed escrow on 5/10 and have not yet moved in (today is 7/11). In the 8 weeks of availability for the walk thru items to be completed, they are not. This is not an impressive way to build trust with customers. We are less than impressed.

Need to be on top of the work all the time, the workers don't care for peoples homes and how much u spend to make it nice , the paint is bad, I can go on . Keep ur eyes open.

After close is still an issue.

Best to be on site and monitor their progress personally and question why sometimes there was a lack of progress causing delays to occur that could of and should have been prevented if a timeline check list had been to monitor what critical paths have to be followed to remain on track to the completion date that was established when the project started.

As homebuyers we looked at many homes built by various builders. We choose Pulte because the quality shown in the models homes was beautiful. Our sales person promised the same quality to be in our new home. Pulte fell short. They build homes very fast and the quality and workmanship is not there. Our home was not perfect and beautiful the day of closing, in fact that day the drywall trimmers and painters were still trying to fix issues from the walk thru. Pulte does not have quality professional drywall trim and painters. Their work is terrible from ceilings bubbling and repaired numerous times, excessive spackel left on trim, to paint drips, to unpainted areas, to paint on hardwood floors. Throughout the home there are other issues, some which wouldn’t have happened if supervision and attention to detail was there. The lack of quality is upsetting to say the least. As buyers you did expect a punch list of minor issues at closing and if that was all we had it would be fine. That is not the case for our home. New home buyer please be cautious. The beautiful model home you see is not always the home you see when you open your front door for the first time. We wish ours was, it would eliminated our frustration and stress as Pulte workers try to make it as beautiful as a model home weeks later. ... More
