The home is nice but the "turnkey solution" I was sold was not true. Pulte takes no responsibility for items outside of the structure such as irrigation, landscaping, sidewalks, etc. Extend your walk-thru times past the scheduled 1 hour and pay close attention as your building manager tries to speed you through the process - Pulte will not repair items if you find them after signing off on the walk-thru. The "Pulte Limited Warranty" is very limited indeed. Pulte's after sell customer experience team is more interested in putting problems back on you then partnering with you to solve them. You ...

We initially loved our home buying experience -- although the home was finished two full months prior to the date they told us it would be. While for many people that would be a positive, we still had to sell our house so it was a little nerve wracking in that our plans were completely thrown out the window as we had to rush to sell our house. We did everything remotely. From the design choices to the final walk through. We didn't see the house until after close. We are very disappointed with the placement of internet/cable connection and the electrical outlet placement in both the living room and bedroom. The internet/cable connection and the electrical isn't next to each other in either room. Very very disappointed. I believe the project manager should have noticed that and had it corrected

I loved working with my sales agent. He was and continues to be supportive through the process. This is my second Pulte home. I also work well with my construction manager who is responsive to any issues I have. My disappointment is in some of the fine details and some of the issues I'm having post close. There is a reason why I bought a new home and it was so I wouldn't have to fix anything. Turn-key. While there is an expectation for some minor issues, I find mine rather unsettling. 1) Three-way lighting switches wired incorrectly 2) Clothes rack in master closet came clear out of the wall ...

Our sales rep was absolutely wonderful so we were very disappointed when there were numerous issues with the home that the warranty team did not address in a prompt matter. We sent multiple emails without any response for several days and it took many more days to get just a few minor things resolved. The other things that need to be corrected still have not been addressed and we will have been in the home for almost 2 months now. We would never choose Pulte again as they seem to stop caring once you close.

Prices go up and quality goes down

Pulte will tell you that they struggle to get good contractors due to a nearly 3 year old pandemic. In my opinion I would have rather my house take an extra 6 months to build and have the quality you used to see in a Pulte home. Walls are bowed, trim work is sub par, things are out of plum... there are so many small things that it turns into a big thing. Their base price just keeps going up but the quality keeps declining. When an issue is seen during a walk through they take the easiest route to get it fixed. If you have multiple cracks or poor workmanship on your porch or patio, ...

If you are buying standing inventory it will be "as is" and told that nothing will be fixed before move in. We were told contradicting information and even lied to regarding our landscaping, sod and irrigation. Conduct a personal inspection and hire a cleaning crew before you move in. Inspect your driveway, garage and yard for nails, metal, cigarettes, razor blades and such before driving or walking in those areas.

Difficult to get direct answers

If you have questions about the building of your home this is not the builder for you. There doesn't seem to be any upper management and no escalation process when there is an issue. Everyone goes silent. The finish work is poor.

Poor craftsmanship and lack of support for issues

Very poor craftsmanship overall. The house was not cleaned before closing and there were countless issues, they rushed to complete what they could in the one-hour window while we were at our closing appointment. One-hour was obviously not enough time to do the work that was needed to be done, then they wrote us off once we signed the papers. Countertops were cracked in several places at closing and they won't replace them, they just glued two of the pieces back together but cracks still exist and they will not respond to emails about it.
