Was very disappointed with the quality of construction. Warranty calls for walls and ceilings to be level within a quarter inch within 4 feet and many of them are beyond that threshold. Had to modify installations of appliances at our cost due to the fact the ceilings are way off level. Many walls are also bowed , not straight within the Warrenty threshold. Way too much covering up things and hoping this customer would be satisfied. The correct way would’ve been to deliver the house the way the warranty says “free of defects” Seeking legal advice on how these defects can be corrected in the safest, cleanest manner without causing more issues to the structure & personal health. Pulte’s big selling feature is their quality and it is mentioned numerous times in the sales And construction process. Quality of work could have been better. Really not worth spending so much money in pulte. There are other builders like Dress home and the quality of work is excellent.

The overall build experience was positive. Dan was great to work with in terms of responsiveness, communication, and tried to be as accommodating as possible. The quality of workmanship was lacking (most likely subcontracting). Even after the pre-closing walk through, some of the fixes where not any better than the original issue(s). However, I will say that Dan will work to make things right.

Sales experience was great, they were responsive and followed through. Beautiful work on the construction side. We love our new home.

Over all it was good experience working with the Pulte Group!

Get projects done before closing.

A great home I am so happy

Closed on the property in the winter, cannot tell you how much was not done to the home. We are relocating from a different state so I’m happy we have a solid 5 months before having to move here. Neighborhood=gorgeous. But that’s where it ends. With every issue came a slew of excuses-can’t find skilled labor, can’t get 42” cabinets (and our cabinets aren’t even WOOD), can’t do smooth ceilings, can’t finish moldings in rooms all the way around because that’s just not what we do. Our pantry-despite paying up for solid L shelving, had installed some kind of closet kit which they hung on top of other sections, so part of it couldn’t be used. Hired a contractor to rebuild. Brought in a drywall contractor who worked weeks to clean up the garbage unfinished ceilings. We have been bringing in contractor after contractor to fix everything they’ve neglected to pay attention to. Nearly 60K deep and we aren’t close to being done. And I think the biggest slap in the face is when we went to sales with some of these issues we were told “it isn’t a million dollar home”. Well-it isn’t…it’s a three quarter of a million dollar home in the Midwest which on the east coast (where we currently live) would easily cost twice that. No yard, no landscaping, no nothing included. Garbage flooring, electrical issues with wiring, even sealing around sink fittings or anchoring the garbage disposal correctly-not done. If I had my name attached to this project I’d get out of the business of building homes. And lastly-they don’t even give a thank you gift or a bottle of champagne at closing or a gift post closing. I mean-I know it’s not a million dollars or anything so maybe they could’ve sprung for a 50 dollar bottle of bubbly. Our last builder brought us a huge gift from Tiffany’s. The one before that gave us a nice gift card to a local restaurant and a bottle of wine. Look for ANY OTHER BUILDER. Seriously. Once you close on the property, I can't seem to have any luck getting hold of anyone for service request.

Pulte Homes is not a good company to buy house. Pulte uses very low-quality materials to build houses which is not recommendable to other customers. It is worse company I ever uses. Please think before you purchase any house from Pulte Homes.

Builder tried their best to make it but the raw materials used might not be good quality. Had to buy a repaired house instead of new house.

Great brands and materials used during construction! Communication with our sales rep and construction manager was quick and easy during the process.

From our initial meeting with Devin in sales, to our interactions with Dan & Steve our Construction Managers we always felt in the loop. Then when we moved in and had a few issues, our Customer Service Rep Kristi has been on top of every repair/fix we’ve submitted a claim on. An overall A+ experience!

From signing the purchase agreement with sales, to walk throughs and phone discussions with the field managers to post build dealings with the warranty team. Everyone has been fantastic. Kind, compassionate, timely response and professional

We are two months in, and still have no working master bathroom. The plumbing is leaking through the downstairs ceiling and Pulte advised us to not use the bathroom until they can come out later in the month. I think that says all. The slightly longer version is that we bought the home in a great area, which represents about 50% of the value of my house. It's just sad to see how cheaply Pulte has finished everything. Our "upgraded" kitchen cabinets look good, but are particle board worthy of a low-income-housing project. The stains in our carpet that would be replaced, are yet to be addressed. The electrical issues caused by the master bath room leak have likely burned out our front door bell. The house was delivered with a missing garage door opener (which was then explained for the first time to be an "upgrade"). Still, none of these issues are unfixable, so I'm sure 12 months from now I'm fine with it, but with minimal extra effort from the builder, this place could have been so much nicer. ... More

Builder struggled to find contractors to do the work. Contractors either had a bad attitude or poor craft. The quality of the build is not worthy what we paid for. It is a disappointing process and end result.

This is the 3rd (new) house I have bought from Pulte Homes. Good quality and reputation. You have a general experience and peace of mind. Knowing you can resolve any issues mostly to your satisfaction. Rushed to closing, some work lack quality (paint, trims, caulking, missing pieces due to late order or arrival, miscommunication between various parties in transition, such as external vent range hood not connected to outside due to drywall not prepared with a connection hole; exterior water bib installed right behind A/C unit at back of house, garage door not manually lockable due to mismatched bolt and slot; sharp nails can be felt under carpet on edges at upper floor, etc.). Pricing on the max limit to be fair, so the value is okay but not impressive. ... More
