There seems to be no quality control in place. So many things needed to be taken care of after we moved in.

Closed on house on time which I appreciate but there are a few key construction issues that were missing before and after closing that I wished they were addressed without me needing to find them and ask for them to be addressed and wait for response and follow up on fix

Good deal for the overall homeowner in terms of plot to build construction experience. Not great in terms of pressing communication channels, we had a tough time getting mortgage setup and that was a very stressful and bad experience as we were constantly being asked zillions of unnecessary paperwork which wasn’t really needed to prove intention of mortgage purchase. But overall credits were given towards closing which was much appreciated.

Overall the experience was good. The end and closing was not ideal. We have several outstanding issues that still need addressed. The craftmanship of work is just ok. Mostly minor things, but when you build a brand new home, you should expect perfection. Most things are being made right, but to have this happen at the end, it less than ideal. We do love our home and are getting settled in, we just wish these things were attended to better.

This is our 4th new build and 2nd Pulte home. Overall the experience has been easy, adaptable and well documented with good communication. Within reason, several small adjustments were permitted to their floor plans. Granted that the world is a different place in 2022 and supply chain issues plague everyone, but Pulte has been able to acquire all material for the build. Am still waiting on an appliance but that is out of their control. That being said, they have not been very communicative with me about estimated time of arrival though. Quality of workmanship has been a bit of an issue. While they are a big builder, labor is still scare but the quality of the interior finish has been of a lower quality than I have ever experienced. Numerous drywall finish issues that were painted over. Pre-close clean was not very thorough. Overall, Pulte is a professional, easy-to-work with company that has the power of size working for them so we were from contract to close in less than a year. Overall, it was a decent experience. Mistakes were made, and we had to catch some of them ourselves. So, it is not a worry-free or hands-off building process. You do need to stay more engaged and provide more oversight than I had anticipated. Some communications can get dropped or take several days to get a response. So, be prepared to wait or do several follow-ups. Other than that, things turned out fine and there are no major issues with the house at this point.

We had a great construction manager…at the end of the build. The first one we had was not do great. We did not feel he was aware of what was going on during construction, rarely emailed updates and when we did get them we got one sentence. After he left and we were assigned someone who actually cared about the process, things looked much better but we were at the end when this happened. Nate is top notch as a construction manager. Lumber used in framing was not great. Presented challenges for drywallers. The construction manager was a pleasure to work with though some communications could have been a tad better. Overall, we really love our new home and understand the current conditions in the area for lining up subcontractors.

Everything was great until we moved in. Then communication and completion of outstanding items stopped. Not only can't I get the outstanding items completed(like a garage door and sod) I can't even get a date when these tings will be taken care of.

I had a great experience through the home buying process, however after closing the experience left much to be desired. None of the walk through items were completed prior to closing. I had to drive through a snowstorm to get to closing as they did not move, only to get to a dirty house with none of the punch list items completed. It has also been a bumpy process getting things done on the punch list and for new pop up items. Everyone was very helpful through the entire process. I would not recommend the upgrade to the cabinets- they are substandard and not worth the price. Not what we expected for sure.

Need to stay vigilant & don't assume anything. Caught numerous mistakes missed by Pulte Field Manager

Very easy process and very helpful guiding me through this whole new experience. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. There were ups and downs with the building of my home. Pulte was very quick to respond to my concerns. My home was being built during COVID so things were always on back order and very hard to get supplies. Some things were not explained clearly at the design meeting so that caused a few issues with the design of my home. I was unable to get some of the things that I really would have liked to have in my home because I was told what I wanted was standard and comes with the build. It was not standard and I missed out with getting those specific items. I was not happy to the fact that Pulte only puts in basic lights and faucets and carpet in your home. All Chrome. If you want to upgrade it costs double the price if you had it done yourself. So keep this in mind if you are planning on building with Pulte. I have had to change out faucets, towel bars etc in all three of my bathroom. This is my first time building a home. Things do go wrong!!! The finish is not so good.I see cracks at the cabinets, screws showing out in the cabinets. hard wood squeaking sounds. paint comes out pretty easily.

quality materials, great staff. delayed/late items that were incomplete at closing are taking very longer to complete.

Good quality and met the time lime as promised. After closing reported the water stagnant issue, not getting response.

The building portion of the process was great. No complaints. However, now that we have moved into our house the response is slow on getting something fixed. Very disappointed with that.

The overall experience was okay. Be extremely prepared to pay attention to all of the various details since you will have a short window to make updates and changes throughout the build process. The quality of the home is okay, but the attention and quality of the finishing details left a lot to be desired. We were not pleased with the drywall, paint and trim work. Overall, it looked very rushed to meet deadlines and the lack of quality shows.

I am satisfied with most Pulte has done. The after part needs some help. We have had some plumbing issues that are not emergency’s. Reached out to Pulte to see about getting repairs now so the issue does not get worse. It has been 2 weeks and have not heard back. Not sure if their customer service team is backed up. Either way they need to do better here.

Both Dale and Dylan Pulte’s Superintendents were great. Quality of work for the price was average or below. Had a house built previously for $100,000 more, and quality was 1,000% better.

Overall the experience was good. After you move in, the service was ok. It is the home owner's responsibility to contact the individual contractors if there are an issue instead of calling Pulte.
