Overall the home buying experience was good. The structural, design sessions and the overall timeline for the new construction were good. The construction took less time compared to the timelines provided by other builders. We had few concerns related to structure and elevation related items during and after the construction. The structural one was addressed quickly and the other one is yet to be addressed. Though it is new construction, I would recommend buyers inspect the home thoroughly during the construction to get issues fixed before it is too late.

Workers very dedicated and coordinated actions

This house was built during the COVID-19 pandemic and we were pleased that there weren’t many delays. There was however a lack of communication between us the customer and the builder.

Pulte builds a house with high quality finishings but what is behind those finishings leaves something to be desired. We have lived in our home for 2 months and we already have some visible water leaking issues. I am worried that we will find years down the road water issues that are invisible until it is too late. Also, while nail pops are a normal issue for a new home, I have never experienced them to this level before. It is almost to the point where we will have to re-paint whole rooms when they are repaired. My last big complaint is a general lack of attention to detail. If you chose Pulte you just need to make sure you check in almost daily. Take pictures of defective or incorrect work for documentation, also take pictures of where your plumbing is in the whole house so it is less likely to hit a pipe down the road. Make sure you check that the options you paid for are actually getting installed.

We have issues that need to be fixed. Bob Uphouse has acknowledged and we are waiting until the Covid Panic has died down. Bob has always responded to our questions and concerns in a timely fashion. Also the house was not professionally cleaned before we moved in

Pulte is generally a good builder. The rating for quality of the materials and workmanship should be separated in my opinion. The quality of the materials is generally great. The workmanship is average or on occasion, less. The warranties they offer are excellent and are the reason I gave 4 stars for the "value for the price paid." We experienced a variety of problems both during the building process and after moving in. I think it is hard to rate the entire company lumped together, because some of the people we worked with went above and beyond, while others struggled to communicate well.

I wish they were more responsive to fix minor issues.

We are generally satisfied. But Pulte as a company has communication issues with customers and within the organization as a whole. It is an absolute necessity for a new home buyer to stay on top of the entire home building process as much as possible and document everything (Special Requests, Exceptions, NSO's, etc.). The actual subdivision supervisors (Wayne, Scott, & Alex) and the sales representative (Chris) were outstanding and all deserve 5 stars.

I really like the home but the communication from the field team completely stopped at closing. Driveway and yard are still a work in progress due to weather but I only know something is going to happen when someone shows up knocking at the door. A heads up seems like it should be in order ‘hey, don’t drive on the concrete for x days’ versus it just being poured, roped off, and no discussion.

It was tough to get a final move in close date. We were given 3 different dates that cost us 3K in rentals. Because we rushed the final close date (we found out at 3 PM that were were closing the next day), the house was not cleaned. There was paint on the floor, lots of drywall dings, and other issues we didn't think we'd have with a brand new home. We didn't get any followup until we pressured our main builder contact. Was cleaned up after two months of being in the house. The air in the loft is still not working, we have one drawer and blind that is unusable in the kitchen.

Good quality material but no ownership of project manager or there bosses all they want is close house and show number’s. Hope they fix this soon.

I was disappointed with problems in the kitchen

Closing date was moved two different occasions. July 21 to August 28 and then to September 28. Issues that were brought to light weeks before closing have still not been addressed or resolved. Customer care only sends emails, no phone correspondence.

This home building experience has been the least enjoyable of the last 3 I have been through. Quality control and workmanship were horrible and 6+ weeks later, I’m still dealing with all of the issues upon move in. I had to have a meeting with the Customer Care Specialist yesterday to go through the laundry list of punch list items yet to be addressed. This takes time out of my busy work schedule. If I had wanted to buy a fixer upper and go through a renovation, I would have done that. The reason to build a new home was to avoid all of these frustrations! Is the home beautiful? Yes. Forth pulte house and the worst when it comes to service

Working with the Field Manager was great. I think the quality of workmanship is not so great. I feel the home was completed as quickly as possible. They did not take the time to do the trim work. Nail holes are sticking out or rough. Had to seal my own grout behind the stove and master shower. We were told they use good insulation, but the home has a chill to it. Overall we love the home and the layout is great.

We had a great experience. However, there are a lot of finishes overlooked or rushed. We haven’t been in the house 2 months and we already have along list of issues. There needs to be a person who only works with new home owners for the first few month after close. After close, the project lead is done and customer care isn’t super responsive.

You can definitely tell there is a labor shortage, as some of the work completed on our home could have been done better by us. We closed with some issues identified and documented for resolution, and over a month later, they are not resolved. With some of the materials and craftsmanship, we just can’t believe that’s what you get for the price paid.

Finishing of the house was not good. Have issues with the door installation and floor. The floor plan is horrible we paid around 11K. I didn’t feel it’s worth half a million
