We had a great experience from Chris our sales person to Greg and Brendan, our building supervisor. Everyone kept us posted and answered all questions we had in a timely matter. I would recommend Pulte to anyone wanting to build a new home.

DO NOT BUY A PULTE HOME!!!!!! We have been in this house for 2 months and it’s been horrible. We have had a gas leak. We have doors won’t close properly and hinges that pop and crack, flooring on first floor getting repaired/replaced for the second time, and major crack in the foundation. I wish I would have never bought this nightmare!!!!

Pulte made the entire home buying experience stress free . Molly , our sales rep was professional, friendly and responsive. Our construction supervisor, Nathan was communicating the entire way . This is my first and last new build as this house is now my "forever" home. I am still waiting for many issues to be resolved. Most of it could have been avoided if the subcontractors cared about workmanship and quality. Too much of a rush to just get it done no matter if the outcome was obviously sloppy or neglected. Not allowed enough time to really inspect the house before closing. The construction manager trying to get issues addressed on the actual closing day! We love our home. Our concerns along the way were not always received how we would have liked from the sales agent. We caught errors in the building process, that created delays. We were surprised by the lack of upgrades at this price point.

Building Experiance has room for improvement

The building experience was over all satisfactory. The most challenging issue was the outside landscaping, particularly the sod placement. It took 6 weeks after closing to get sod laid. Problem seemed to be the supplier did not have irrigation and could not provide a quality product. We are still battling getting the green space next to our home cleaned up and grass seed planted by the HOA. Weeds and bare spots still linger. The performance of the service department was the best part of the process. We’ve had positive response to issues after we moved in and found various flaws.

Our experience with Pulte in Nottingham Trace was mixed. The home turned out ok but we had to keep reminding them of issues. It was a couple of weeks late which we were able to work around. We were given dates for some things that then never happened when they said. Took over 8 weeks after we closed and moved in to get the yard cleaned up and sod down. Overall the quality could be better for as much as we paid.

Steve was incredibly responsive to every inquiry my wife and I made about our home throughout the build process. We, as first time builder, were incredibly inquistive about all the details and he was patient and informative at every step. We also appreciated Claires timely responses to questions we hadnt even thought to ask. Both have continually been great even after we closed.

If you are getting an offer and would like to take a day or two to get back, get a written confirmation on the offer lock to get it, else you might loose thousands of dollars overnight like I did.

I did not purchase from the beginning, therefore my home was already designed and in the building process before I began. Overall the floorplan and location were great, the initial contacts for purchase were amazing. The loan processors Abiel and Conor were horrible! They never responded to emails nor pick up calls. They made it sound like, we wouldnt be able to get a loan. They only started being nice after l contacted another loan company. This was the most stressful moment of the whole process!

It was tough to get a final move in close date. We were given 3 different dates that cost us 3K in rentals. Because we rushed the final close date (we found out at 3 PM that were were closing the next day), the house was not cleaned. There was paint on the floor, lots of drywall dings, and other issues we didn't think we'd have with a brand new home. We didn't get any followup until we pressured our main builder contact. Was cleaned up after two months of being in the house. The air in the loft is still not working, we have one drawer and blind that is unusable in the kitchen.

This home was ‘technically’ finished for closing after 6-8 months. However, multiple work issues remained unfinished after closing. Pulte states they inspect contractor work throughout the build process, but that was not the case. Most neighbors, like myself, had to contact Pulte multiple times after closing regarding pending work. It wasn’t until 2 months after closing that all my contractor issues were completed. We love the design and location of our home! It is perfectly situated and has everything that we need close by. We've had to work with Customer Service on a weekly basis to get issues that were either constructed poorly or not working resolved. We still have on-going issues 2 months after moving in, but Pulte's Chris S. has been very attentive. That said, it's required at least one of us to be home to oversee and communicate this work for 7-9 days Monday-Friday.
