Make sure you have the home builder do the walk through with you.

when i decide to up great some finish items,I end up paying three times more what its worth,It should not be like this!! also guest bathroom finished very poor.

make sure that final punch is done at least one week in advance of your closing date.

I have a suggestion for pulte when working w seniors. I think they could give more support to senior house buyers that are not as experienced as young ones on the internet. This issue came up for me and my husband often during the mortgage phase of this experience.

The overall experience was positive and we are very happy with the home. There were a few minor problems along the way but they were responsive and corrected those timely. I think the house was a bit overpriced in the neighborhood but it was a seller's market and we got top dollar for our old house as well so you cannot have it both ways (sell high, buy low). The cleaning prior to move in left a little to be desired. There were (and still are) pencil marks on the floor from the carpenters and we are still cleaning those as we find them. Anderson has been very responsive to my needs as a homeowner. He has been very prompt and is constantly in communication with me about work that needs to be done to my new home. I do wish that my paint kit would show up but that is beyond his control. My field manager Victor still owes me a window since the original one that was installed is scratched that issue is coming up on two months without a resolution.

Take your time and not rush things and you'll have a good experience

Roof leaked in bedroom. Painting could be better, missed spots and left big drips.

Cabinets and drawers should be inspected thoroughly. Some of my drawers were not properly fastened. Paint droplets are everywhere.

The field manager who helped in our building process was amazing. He ensured that everything was handled in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the house that we have purchased. the house is great and the neighborhood is welcoming. The responsiveness from our field manager Chadd has been outstanding.

Fast move in.

Loan process not too difficult to meet if prospective buyer believes he/she can afford the price. Nice floor plan for one story home.

Pulte builds homes quickly and the workmanship is very good, however, it is not excellent. In some cases, the workers did not clean up all of their glue, paint, and caulk residues, making move in more work than expected.

Ensure all walk through items are completed before sign.

Pulte was prompt and did exactly what they said they would do. The design is nice and the value is great. Don’t try to change anything though. Two things I was not happy with was the alarm/low voltage sub contractor. You feel like you have no options and anything you do is marked up pretty well. I also feel like painting in general was sloppy. Painting around (and on) switches and towel bars, missing spots, etc. just looked rushed. Lots of caulk and it doesn’t have a nice finished look.

I will base my response base on the star categories. In terms of the quality of workmanship and materials, it could of been better. I understand that in the housing market, builders want to finish homes asap. However, quality should always be more important than quantity when trying to please your customers. With the inflation of homes, i felt that the price for my home was very acceptable. The trustworthy of Pulte was not bad, however, I get it, when the seller is buying the house, all resources are available to that potential customer. But once that customer actually buys the house, you are forgotten and replaced by another potential customer. Lastly, although there were many issues with my house, the responsiveness of the Pulte Homes was quick to acknowledge my concerns and were able to resolve those issues. Only minor issues have been found so far (screws not fully screwed in, bent drawer tracks). Overall very happy with the home and excited to raise a family here.

Good home and professional staff

So far so good, we are just here for 45 days, no problem found. Good small community.
