The home purchased was a “Move in Ready” home so the buyer did not get a quality review until the day of closing. Known as the Celebration Walk through, there were many items not worthy of celebration. The house flooring was really dirty and there were paint drops everywhere. Before you move in everyone seems very attentive. Of course all they are constantly asking you to do is give them a high score on the survey. Once you take ownership good luck getting any assistance with issues. I've been in my house 5 weeks and still have blue tape on walls for problems that have yet to be corrected. Text messages go unanswered. Scheduled repairs are no showed leaving me at home all day wasting my time. Master bath shower leaks water all over the floor. This is our 2nd home with Pulte. We bought the first one in 2013 and it was a great experience. We needed to purchase a 2nd home in a hurry. My how things have changed. We had no choice to design or customize the 2nd home at all. They now have HOAs. Frankly the quality is definitely poorer with us having to call their customer service to fix this and that multiple times. They are still better than others. I’ve had a few issues with quality of materials and craftsmanship. Bathroom door hinge screws all stripped out. S so the door fell off. Two interior door handles fell off. Had issues with water sensor triggering. So A/C wouldn’t work. I’m sure there are more issues to come. Also, warranty work is only done 9am-5pm. Guess when I work??? So they won’t come to fix things when I’m home.

I found what I would call Pulte cheapness. Plastic toilet seats that don't have the slow close so that they slam down. Cupboards that don't have shelves so that they are just big useless holes unless I had sliding shelves installed. No over the mirror vanity lights. A bathroom with no sliding door for the tub/shower (I was snidly told to get a shower curtain). A bathroom with no medicine cabinet. No light in the pantry. Simple little things Pulte could have and should have done.

When the stain of our woodwork did not match what was selected in the design studio, the construction project manager worked with us to remedy the situation. The warranty to remedy other construction issues is helpful as we continue to identify things that need addressed (door knob fell off closet door, drywall issues, etc.)

Home is decent quality, however it feels fragile and not as sturdy as other homes. Walls are relatively thin and you can hear your neighbors quite a bit. Do not go with Pulte Mortgage as they are unresponsive and were pretty negligent during the process.

At first the builder seemed eager to help and address the issues with our brand new home. He seemed especially concerned that his first review vis survey received 5 stars. Now it’s been over a month without all issues resolved and we are now noticing some quality issues, especially with our cabinets. We were told “scratches and dings” were not covered after 30 days. However the issue is. It scratches and dings, more like cheap quality laminate on cabinets. They said we got a cabinet repair kit to fix it ourselves but we never received one. Buyer beware. Hi, I am 45 days into living at pulte and my master bath plumbing already leaks. My office room ceiling needs to be cut and repaired which might need some time. Response from maintenance was fast but just when there was no room for negotiation and any additions on quick move in home, I expected utmost quality. I did not expect plumbing problems just a month in home stay.

We had a great experience with our sales rep Mandi. She is phenomenal! We also really liked and trusted our construction manager. However, there were a bunch of items right before we closed that still are not completed after 6 weeks of being in the home. It's quite frustrating that everything has to be handled via email when the construction manager or customer service rep could easily stop by our home and help address the concerns.

Lanai floor easily got flooded during heavy rain, I asked to elevate the flooring to avoid the flood but didn’t granted it. Paint spill all over the floor and wall and few scratches on the floor. Floor tiles sealant easily got removed and cracked. Bad cut tiles at the shower room. Glass Sliding door not fit, some door not fit as well. Malfunctioning appliance and broken faucet and asked for assistance but until now no fixing it.

I have had an overall positive experience since moving into my home 6 weeks ago. Only one really negative issue has been the way the backsplash was installed as a piece of tile was not cut correctly and damaged an electical box when it was forced into position. That should never have happenned and it caused me grief when I attempted to install a dimmer switch but could not do so due to the damaged electrical box. Overall the experience was great, however there was a massive misunderstanding and poor application with the kitchen backsplash. One pattern issue was resolved, but we still have various grout line sizes across the backsplash because it would have been too expensive to fix and it was within the “margin of error.” Just have your contractors use spacers. They did in the shower.. Also I called the Sherwin Williams that was highlighted by the builder. Not as in touch with our colors as it was described.

Known issue with ovens should have been fixed before closing. Many manuals left with my unit were for installation and not consumer use. Final walk through was too quick to absorb all the information. If any walk in closet is through a bathroom walk in closet should have an AC vent. Base trim corners are all have an unprofessional looking cut. Island wall that would house stools should have been painted “gloss” . Naturally, sitting at the island, shoe markings will happens.
