We like the most about Pulte NorthCove the big lot sizes, building exteriors, structural options, but the quality of the building need to be standardized, base / inbuilt structure for a same option varies across homes, either missed or looks different than standard options, requires lot of follow in the process of building. Sometimes we feel we are getting low quality finishing for amount we have paid.

It was good but could have done better

Our sales rep, Ryan, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. However, it was clear that Pulte is stretching its staff too far based on the lack of responsiveness from the building crew. We have also had numerous issues crop up after move in and it has been very difficult to get a hold of the proper party to place a ticket for these issues. Also, our loan processor, Lorre, was a nightmare to work with as far as her organization and responsiveness to common questions. Our loan consultant, Ann, was awesome though! Higher a third-party inspector for the house We did find a couple of things that needed to be fixed and Pulte took care of that.

This is our 4th new build and 2nd Pulte home. Overall the experience has been easy, adaptable and well documented with good communication. Within reason, several small adjustments were permitted to their floor plans. Granted that the world is a different place in 2022 and supply chain issues plague everyone, but Pulte has been able to acquire all material for the build. Am still waiting on an appliance but that is out of their control. That being said, they have not been very communicative with me about estimated time of arrival though. Quality of workmanship has been a bit of an issue. While they are a big builder, labor is still scare but the quality of the interior finish has been of a lower quality than I have ever experienced. Numerous drywall finish issues that were painted over. Pre-close clean was not very thorough. Overall, Pulte is a professional, easy-to-work with company that has the power of size working for them so we were from contract to close in less than a year. The styles and options they present are current, timeless and quality. The neighborhood aesthetics are well thought out and executed. We look forward to enjoying our Pulte home for years to come. ... we are please so far with the home but it os taking too long for some small punch list items to be completed

We had an amazing salesperson in Gita and the last two months of our build, the project manager David was phenomenal. Initially the responsiveness to issues were slow. That changed immediately when David took the responsibility of our property. Since moving in, there are minor issues we have discovered, and I am happy to say that 90% of these have been addressed. We planned on making this our forever home, therefore finding a builder with a respected reputation to quality was important. We believe we nailed it with Pulte. We would absolutely recommend Pulte to our family and friends.

Home layout is great. However, during walkthru I highly recommend to have ALL of your issues addressed (and you yourself confirm) before you actually sign and close. Don't let them force you to close without addressing your concerns. Once you sign, their "warranty" process is extremely slow and all of the promises of being attentive and responsiveness to warranty claims are almost non-existent. You will constantly have to reach out however you can to get them to address your claim.

The workmanship of the home could've been better, some of the walls weren't straight, they had a curve in a few of the walls, the sheet rock was stood up instead of laying flat on the ground when the house was being built. So our closing date was delayed almost 2 weeks to fix the problem. And we asked for a tray ceiling in our dinner room but it wasn't built, they claim that they didn't hear us ask for tray ceilings, I was really upset about that, but we created something better instead, it looks good.

You have to keep on top of your build.Our original PM was an Apple salesman. Not experienced with his job. NOW working with the Warranty PM. You have 30 days to report problems. For a Publicly traded company they SHOULD be concerned with the BAD reviews on Pultie .com on Facebook. Should be more responsive.

We like our home. Overall good quality materials and workmanship. Issues very slow to resolve.

We were building our first home with Pulte. Some of the experiences we encountered during the construction phase was below par. For example, they replaced the appliances to which we paid extra for with a standard ones. A huge let down was the replacement of the brick (I was told that they searched high and low and came with only ONE) I repeat "ONLY ONE" substitution was given as a choice (despite pulte being such a "big" builder). Buying the home in general was good. Happy to have a great community. There were significant delays but this is expected in these days. The closing was poor because the docs were not aligned. It took over 3 hours when Pulte was the closer. After moving in we began to see the small issues. That's when you see the details in your home. We can see over spray in paint, small droppings of caulking and poor caulking. A tiny chip on a wood plank mWe've requested service for these. I call it the turnstile because they push to get you in the house because the next batch of homes need to get handled. I must say the sales folks at the office were great. They walked me through the process great. However, during construction phase it became a crap show. They changed construction manager 3 times which significantly delayed projected closing time. I had to spend almost 6 months at an AirB&B because of it. no concessions, no apologies just business as usual. The material used for electrical and lighting were basic at best. You can tell they were trying to cut as many corners as they could get away with. For the money i've paid, surely deserved a better product.

My family loves our new home. However, the craftmanship was very subpar. There was absolutely no attention to detail, culking was poor, edges were not finished and smooth, nail tracks still up, paint not smooth. For the amount we paid for this house those things should have been perfect. Those flaws took away from overall quality of the home.

Our original contract showed we would be in the house within 6 months and it was just about a year before we finally closed. As for workmanship, we feel there is a lot of improvement needed. Exterior concrete work is poorly done, we had issues with our cabinets, the wrong breaker was put in for our garbage disposal & wires were lose, we had issues getting our internet & cable done correctly, countertop had to be replaced due to staining on it, sheet rock was cut wrong on a corner yet it was left & painted over and grouting around bathtub not done correctly. Generally we are happy with our new home. There were issues with wrong roof trusses, which needed to be modified, and caused significant delays. We should have asked more questions in the design phase, as we made assumptions that caused disappointments.

Didn’t not have a good experience with pulte mortgage, sales, design center, or the builder. We ended up using our own mortgage company because there were so many issues with pulte mortgage. We had a few didn’t issues during the building process. Once the home was completed it turn out very nice but only because we stay on the builder throughout the process. If had not been for the area and the community we probably would have cancelled our contract early in the process.

The home took awhile to build, but the final product was worth waiting for. Of course there are some issues with the home, but that is to be expected.

More responsiveness would be better Overall fair quality but could be improved

The experience of buying this home was okay. Yes beautiful house and location BUT they were extremely late. They kept pushing the closing date back and back and at the same time the interest rates were going up and up. That of course did not benefit us at all. The people that showed us the final result, Mark was awesome, very nice guy. he was very helpful.

Our house is great but we as we started living in it, we started to notice the poor paintwork. We called out many items during our walk-throughs and they were either not done or they were done very poorly. We also noticed the floors are chipped in certain areas and our garage door is damaged.

Let me start by saying the Pulte employees attached to the Hawthorne development have been professional and great to work with. Robb, the Community realtor, was amazing! I know this neighborhood experienced a lot of vendor issues for the construction manager while my home was being built and this was my first new construction home but I am a bit shocked at the workmanship. Everything appears to have been a rush job and not a lot of pride displayed. For the price point I paid, I did expect a higher quality finish. It was explained that the house would go through 3 professional cleans during the process, however after closing I had to go spend several days deep cleaning. Could tell toilets were used several times, a sticky substance was on countertops and floors, dead bugs all over, etc. I upgraded my main floor flooring and countless boards are cracked due to installation, several screens on the windows were missing, garbage cans in pull out drawer were missing, cracked tile in shower that was still installed, paint sprayed on floors, paint drips down walls, holes in wall/drywall, garage door doesn’t lock, and so on. The Care Team, Angela and Paul, have been wonderful to partner with to hopefully get it all resolved soon. Some of design feature are not good enough,closet,bathroom; Sale rep and showroom not detail enough with customer. Construct manager and assistant were responsding the issues.
