Pulte has the home buying process down to a science.

I understand that I was supposed to get a survey about my Pulte finance team and my Project Manager. I never got those and would really like someone from Pulte to call me regarding this.

Given the fact that we bought a home during the peak of covid19, the overall experience from the salesperson to the general contractor in charge of building our home was pretty great. There have a been a few surprises since moving in. However, the response time to resolve those issues has been A+.

Do not close on your house until you have had several “final” walkthroughs. I have been in my house a month now, and every day I am finding a new issue. They cut corners, their attention detail is horrible, the craftsmanship for every aspect of my house is subpar. I was told to expect the quality work done on the mode home, what I received is far from that. I wish I never would have closed on the home with Pulte. I would recommend anyone looking at purchasing a new Pulte home to look around at other builders first. If you decide to go with Pulte, I would recommend you do as many walkthroughs possible before closing to ensure corners were not cut. It really is a shame because I truly believe the bones of the house were built well. Overall it has been a great experience. However, there have been a few things around the house that they could have just done right the first time instead of having to request fixes. For example, my cabinet crown molding was a slightly different color than my cabinets. You can visually tell just by looking at it, so not sure why it wasn't installed right the first time. That being said, they have been amazing at fixing any issues big or small that I bring to them.

Too many issues to detail

Building a home can be stressful. But with Pulte they explain every step of the way. If something needs attention the construction manager is just a text away. Super personal service!! Pulte made a “house” our home.

We are very happy about buying our new home with Pulte. They delivered a top quality home with great customer service in every step of the buying process.

We love our new house and the floorplan, Martin Ray. It's very open and spacious along with several enclosed rooms on the main floor. Be sure to get the sunroom and the upstairs to lower your cost per sq ft. for eventual resale. If you are over 62 and have a nest egg, the HECM financing is unbelievable. Our salesman, Jay and construction manager, Jayson were excellent. The only negatives were a couple of the door placements that opened the wrong way. Also, the appliances were not very high quality. Whirlpool dishwasher died in 1st month, garbage disposal is noisy and slow, Whirlpool refrigerator ice maker needed fixing. ... More

Tyler the construction manager is very responsive and accommodating. Also, the issue for clogged toilet has been addressed promptly.

We have been in a Pulte house for the last 25+ years, and while it has had it's good and bad points, we were VERY impressed with the "state of the art" Pulte builders. Outstanding floorplans that we didn't see (even similar) elsewhere were significant to us as well as was their "across the board" attention to detail. Specifically, from the time we first started to discuss our "ideal retirement house" to AFTER we closed, the Pulte staff was excellent. The sales staff (Matt) did FAR more than other builders' sales staffs do, and the PM (Rob, whose personal attention to detail was scary sometimes) delivered to spec and on time, have to be among the best in their fields; and were certainly the best we have ever dealt with (and I was a multi-million dollar quota sales guy and one point in my career and also was a PMI PMP for more that 17 years; so it's not like I don't know what performance in those disciplines is). Great home, for a great price!

Design center ruined our bathroom and kitchen design . The lack of trust is an understatement , the GSM that handled the escalated issues with the design flaws and the designers mistakes did nothing. The blame game is bestowed on the buyer and not your design team as what your GSM tells the buyer . Pulte mortgage as the neighbors called it is a joke with the last minute games and delaying tactics . I can go on and on but what does this solve ? You should ask your GSM , never once offered an apology or a concession to our missing wall oven and list of items that are deficient to our needs . What a shame with Pulte . Poor leadership .. ... Overall, I have a very good experience with this out of state home buying with Pulte Home. Everything is convenient and efficient finished by timely manner. Thank you.

My sales person I worked with was GREAT. She went above and beyond to help me with issues that she normally would not be associated with. Can not say enough good things about Nicole. Mike was also nice to work with. He took care of several things I wanted done before closing. It was nice to have people that was willing to help me since I lived out of state during construction of my home.

The entire purchasing and build process was smooth

Pulte Mortgage and Title were a disaster.

We had our Pulte house built while living in another state for the entire build process. All of the Pulte employees were amazing and always responded to our calls and emails. The field manager was the best with sending us weekly updates with progress pictures and timeline expectations. We even closed on the exact day that they told us from the beginning estimates close date! Fantastic area and we absolutely love our house!

Deciding to build our retirement home we toured many neighborhoods to not only choose a great location, but also helped us zero in on the builder choice. Seeing the quality of planning with Pulte neighborhoods, prompted us to stop at the model home to work through an initial home planning process with Matt at Blue Ridge Creek. From that moment on, we were "catered to" as new home builders, working through the many questions to be answered and decisions to be made. Then being introduced to Nick our Construction Manager, who initially walked us through the timetable and various decision timelines, and visually kept us updated on progress with weekly emails including pictures of our build process. This was exgtremely helpful since we were from out of town with only occasional visits to the site. The finalization and closing process with Aaron and the Pulte Mortgage group and closing team also went smoothly. A very professional experience with great people and we are now happily ensconced in our new home! ... More

This was my first time buying new construction and the things that stood out the most about my experience were the professionalism and great service from the Pulte team involved in my purchase. If I had any questions or concerns on any aspect of the purchase/build, whether it be the upgrade options, mortgage process, construction phase they were addressed almost immediately. Great overall team effort.

Pulte Builders are the best! They had my best interest at heart and helped me with my sale from start to finish which helped me tremendously being an out-of-towner. I would highly recommend Pulte Homes for their workmanship.

We love our home and are exceptionally pleased with it. There have been a few issues, but between the project manager and warranty consultant, things get fixed pretty quickly. The difficult part of the home building/buying is we lived in VA while the home was in TX. Until the last 2 months, it was difficult to get updates on the home. The final project manager was the best in keeping us informed.

The members of the Pulte Homes, are very helpful and the service it’s great.

This was overall a good experience. They are definitely one of the most experienced home builders I have come across
