I expected building a new home to be very complicated and frustrating. Pulte, however, walked us through everything so easily! Even though we were out of state, I always felt I could reach out with any questions or concerns I had. I love the quality of my new home and haven’t had any problems bigger than minor, easy to fix, flaws. I highly recommend Pulte to everyone I talk to about my experience.

Get all Fixed Before Closing in the House

The process of building the house was somehow smooth. Some of the materials used were not best quality (ie. wood for wall studs, gypsum boards). Even the carpenter confirmed this. The field managers relies on the contractors for supervision. The construction is in autopilot, little supervision from field managers. If you see issues during inspection make sure they are taken care before closing. After closing you have to request warranty service which will cause lots of headaches. I had window frame redone twice due to bad construction. Wall redone because of bumps on it. Door replaced ...

Be prepared for the fact that your home will be nowhere near done when they say it will be. Be sure the house is complete before funding or you will have a fight to get it fixed.

Our salesman Eric was great. They can never give us an accurate estimate of when the home would be completed talk to three different people I got three different estimates of completion then after longer than expected they call us and tell us it would be completed in 30 days, not giving us much time to prepare to move. After moving in our dishwasher did not work it took them almost a month to get out here to fix it and they are very slow to respond to any other issue we have been here almost 2 months and still have many unresolved issues. Sales associate didn't give correct information regarding credit from pulte. He was abrupt with his tone and demeanor. His answered were ambiguous and lacked proper communication. I would not recommend eddy skyes to a future homebuyer.

So many things to say! The hluse was not finished when we moved in. We were told that the final issue would be take care of in the next few days after the moved but almost 2 months later we still working on those issues. Next week they will replaced over 10 tiles... it has been a bad experience overall...

Very responsive team but the sales rep was overbearing and unclear often. The PM was nice and easy to work with. The main issue is workmanship. They subcontract everything out and don’t even oversee the work. Very shoddy and even when we did the post blue tape walkthrough they ignored 50% of it. They’ll blame the buyer for not “catching it” but in reality they just ignored it to save cost/time.

All the time keeping us informed and responsive to our needs and concerns. The project manager was very professional, kept me inform at all times of the progress on the construction site in a weekly basis, he was always available, very committed and patient with my endless questions and most importantly he took the time to reviewed the third-party inspection reports that I hired and took actions from the suggestions. I have had several issues with the home that were not corrected , the site manager stop communicating with me so now I am working with your warranty department hoping to get some repairs taken care of, so the experience was great up until closing then things have gone down hill from there.

The experience was the removal and replacement of an undercabinet light fixture to match the luminosity of two other units located under the kitchen cabinets. The electrician was polite, wearing a mask, and replaced the light unit in a very short time. Overall a pleasant outcome.

Throughout building process we had to continually ask Pulte to do things that we had asked for/were part of the build agreement. Also, getting anything done through the warranty is a joke. Our kitchen sink has been leaking for over two weeks (we moved in 2 months ago), an outdoor outlet has never worked and is still not fixed, our upstairs bathroom leaked and damaged the ceiling in the main living area the weekend we moved in and is still not fixed. We have a list of about 7 things that we are waiting on Pulte to remedy. There were also a lot of things the Sales Team ‘sold’ but then later ...
