Poor site drainage/site engineering planning, unresponsive to post move in problems in first 30 days (example: electrical plug for kitchen range protrudes from wall so drawer on said range will not fully close, so was told to call Whirlpool and builder totally shrugged off repair for owner to deal with) we moved in on 13.Agosto.2020 and the more than 3 foot high weeds behind home are still uncut. 2 frikkin months. Email replies state give the landscaping company a little time after rain to cut lawns. This is a homesite design flaw that is unsightly and massively below expectations. If we ...

We like our new home. We got what we wanted and the quality is very good. The reason for the average rating really had to do with Pulte stopping construction half way through and putting our house on the market. This action was in violation of our purchase agreement. Since we were out of state we were not even told. (We believe they did this since they thought our home in Florida was not going to sell quickly due to COVID-19) They also built our lot up so our driveway is very steep without telling us. Disappointed in the attention to detail. Paint chips here and there. Nicks here and there. Flaws were not obvious but we are neat freaks and maybe expected everything to be perfect. Love the floor plan and the sunsets.

the house is very well built with every detail very well finished, my family and I love the neighborhood the neighbors are very friendly . only one detail that I did not like was that the house was not cleaned before closing ,it was very dirty with a lot dust and one of the bathroom was extremely dirty the windows full of dirt .I talk to the representative she says they hired a company to clean the house, I do not think they did the work ., I had to hire staff to clean the house ,I couldn't let my daughters play in a dirty house

Disorganized process from the time of mortgage application through closing

Make sure the mortgage lender, field manager and closing agent are in communication. Ours was a case of poor communication. Spend hours during walk through to make sure the faucets and electrical components work; check proper installation of sliding doors; run sprinklers, check sewage pipes are intact otherwise sewage will flow out on the lawn. Check if tiles especially the backsplashes are properly laid out. Ours was sticking out from the wall and could not be fixed other than breaking the wall. After moving in, we found the garage was not insulated contrary to our purchase agreement. It then took numerous calls and threat of legal action to get this resolved. The contractors did a haphazard job fixing the issue. It also took multiple contractors multiple days to finish the work.

We had great success working with Ellen in sales and Peter as the PM. We are very happy with them and their attention to our concerns and questions. We continue to be frustrated with the paint, texture, tile, door, electrical, appliance, etc.. work the subcontractors completed too quickly and with poor effort and attention to simple detail.

Beginning when I decided to purchase this home, the Pulte employees have been responsive to all my questions and concerns. Follow up to correct deficiencies was bad. I felt like I was chasing the project manager to get things done..its ok ..I just did it myself..shutters that we paid for didn't get installed and took forever to get a schedule..not happy at all..

The home building process was good. Had few minor issues before the closing which the field manager had taken into account and said he would get them fixed. But the field manager has only done a few and still lot more left to fix, but he does not respond to emails anymore.

Overall the house is great but there have been many issues and many warranty calls within the first month of ownership. The house was rushed to be completed and it very clearly shows. The field managers we worked with were great and I don't have anything negative to say about them. Our sales rep wasn't very responsive or helpful though.

The "celebration walk" and the closing date is too short, the list to fix things identified during the walk was not 100% completed but we still have to check the "complete to my satisfaction" in order to have the closing signed and we can moving in a.s.a.p. I still have 2 issues not solve yet after the closing. For seniors not familiar with online app from the computer, don't expect help from the foreman to solve these issues for you, even a simple ones. The responsiveness to the issues after closing is almost none.

The experience was ok overall, but the main detractor was the horrible mortgage process. Poor communication and a flood of last minute document request was extremely frustrating and made me want to abandon the sale altogether. I’ve since purchased another home two doors down and I am SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING WALKING AWAY FROM THE BUILD AND LOSING MY MONEY. The quality of materials is horrible. The pace of construction is slow. The craftsmanship is awful...and I MEAN AWFUL! It’s a home for my mother, and I wouldn’t live in it. They changed framers and it shows.
