Any new home will have some odd and end things needing corrected, however Clark has been so understanding and responsive to correcting issues! Absolutley a great experience and thankful for our new home!

Was very good

Rushed house. Promised they would make it right. Have not fixed a single thing in over 90 days. Never should have signed for the house. Home owners shouldn't be pressured into signing papers on house until things are right. Pulte only seems to care about you until you close on your house, COVID is not an excuse. There are plenty of things to fix on the outside of the home.

During the process of building this home we had a building manager who failed to address multiple issues addressed by my building inspector. Halfway through this process that manager was “fired” and replaced another who did address all of our issues and responded quickly. The closing process was smooth, meetings with everyone went well and our needs were being met... until closing. We signed off on our house at closing after speaking with the new building manager regarding problems that arose during our blue tape inspection. Most things were fixed but we were specifically told that everything would be taken care off. 3 months after closing our wooden staircase is still not fixed (they’ve redone it horribly 4 times), the metal railing balusters are still not all secured, the trim around our fireplace has separated from the floor 3 times and the repair men just told me to put weights on it so it will glue back down, there are chips in our floor that haven’t been fixed, flooring in our office doesn’t go all the way to the baseboard so there is a gap between the wall and flooring, there are paint spots all over the wood flooring downstairs, we had 4 lightbulbs burn out in the first 2 weeks, and the subfloor in our master bedroom has separated from the beams and popped up which now squeaks every time we walk in it. These were issues found in our inspection that we’re never fixed and now structural issues are occurring. We love this house but are extremely disappointed in the willingness to fix issues that should have been done months ago. Customer service was outstanding from the time we looked at homes until we signed with Pulte and paid our money. We didn't get our keys the day we signed. Move-in day keys still weren't ready and it seemed all customer service ended. When we finally got the keys, so did all the guidance on how to get registered as a resident with the HOA. Two months later we are still discovering areas we were supposed to have been given information from the business center at move-in (i.e., back gate). The person who provided outstanding customer service at move-in was the builder whose "office" is still on our street due to properties still being built. The survey's seem premature. I recommend asking me about quality in a year or two That's the true test of a well-built home. ... More

Great home and value

Generally pleased. There were a few issues that should have been resolved prior to closing.one such item was outside landscaping.

Beautiful home. Lots of nice touches. Above average workmanship. Need to get a few things fixed soon that should be under warranty.

The whole entire process was smooth and even after our house is closed, Pulte is still responsive in handling issues that needed to be handled. They certainly care about their buyers’ complete satisfaction both before and after closing.

We had the best sales person and field managers. Keeping in constant communication throughout the building process is crucial. We checked our house several times a week. All issues and concerns were addressed quickly and professionally. Although there were a few things we would have liked to change overall we are very happy with our new home.

The quality is par - these are workers not craftsman; wish I could send photos of our upgraded paint work - we purchase upgraded paint (white walls and gray trim.). Our gray trim work should have clean lines - this isn’t the case, we have gray smeared into the floor and walls. We were told that they have replaced those workers for others but how does that help us know, as we now need to hire real painters to fix the paint. And not to mention our front door ( outside) looks like a three year old painted it. As for the material used - all we can say is that it’s cheap, unless you upgrade to level 5 or above which is what we did ( almost $50k in upgrades)...except for our shower. We moved in May 22, week one our shower handle feel off - we placed a work order in three weeks ago and was told it was going to take another 2-3 weeks ( so one month to fix something we could fix in 5 min), After looking at what we have ( cheap) we’re now ripping that shower out and replacing with a frameless shower ( something more sturdy). Deadbolts on the back and patio do not work properly. The actual home is beautiful- I can’t say that our construction Mgr was one of the best. It’s not his fault that their material is cheap. ... If you chose Pulte you just need to make sure you check in almost daily. Take pictures of defective or incorrect work for documentation, also take pictures of where your plumbing is in the whole house so it is less likely to hit a pipe down the road. Make sure you check that the options you paid for are actually getting installed.

Our home itself is a nice home and we got it for a great value. Everyone I have worked with at Pulte has been pleasant and usually helpful. There have been issues though: The sliding back door was stiff as can be upon move in, and we had to realign it ourselves. The door to the airlock/laundry room does not fully close unless you give it a good push into position. There's a gap in the grout of our shower. The doorbell rang a couple of times when we first moved in then stopped working completely within a week. Despite reporting it as an issue multiple times, no one has been by to fix it in the month and a half we've been here. Two outlets did not work upon moving in. These were thankfully fixed within the first couple weeks. Ants and other pests were rampant in the yard with plenty of them making their way into our garage. Within the first week I was bleach wiping the area right behind out kitchen trash can due to an incursion by hundreds of ants. It's clear pest control was not a priority in the 6mo or so that the house was sitting on the market. The underwriting team during closing was completely sequestered away from me, and I was left with another individual as my sort of middleman. She was absolutely great to work with as a person, however there was some sort of disconnect either in what the underwriting team was telling her, or what she was interpreting and telling me, that resulted in my closing being delayed by a week despite us starting them process a month prior to closing. The VA had approved my loan but there was a hangup in specific wording of specific documents from the Army and VA that I ended up getting fixed in a day once I fully understood the actual issue they had. This would have been resolved much more quickly if the underwriting team had told me directly exactly what problem they were having, rather than playing telephone or being vague and telling me to just call the VA and figure it out on my own. ... The sub contractors Pulte uses are fast and careless with their work. This results in mistakes and errors that plague the homeowner.

Buying the home was relatively simple, follow up after the sale was not which I’ll attribute to one individual as after they were out of the picture and correct person involved, things began moving in the right direction. We’ll see how the repairs go.....

Not satisfied

I wish the craftsmanship and attention to detail was more on point. For how expensive it is everything should look perfect to the human eye. It’s not. The team is awesome and very responsive.

Pulte has been amazing the entire process.

I would love to give PULTE 5stars but, we had a few situations that occurred, but later much later corrected. I would not advocate building a home remotely.

Everything up front has bee great After closing response is slow! Don’t blame it on virus!

Stick with what will work for you and your family and keep an open mind.

Overall very happy however have had some issues with things falling apart which have been fixed but it has been sort of a hassle. Overall, very pleased so far.
