We moved into a Pulte new build condo and have so many issues and service is extremely slow (moved in durind COVID 19 SIP order). It took over a month and 4 appointments to get AC repaired. It works now but is incredibly loud. Decided to add ceiling fans so we don't have to live with the loud noise and found out none of the ceiling junction boxes were installed correctly so can't install anything until they are fixed. Master tub had lots of pitting leading to rust spots and now the tub takes over an hour to drain so we are showering in several inches of water. Garage door would stall while closing which was fixed but the noises have returned and anticipate it needed to be fixed again. Unless they see it as urgent, they don't respond quickly. If you are sensitive to noise, consider Pulte carefully as they are not sound insulated. From the bedroom, I can hear the dishwasher, AC, water heater, and booster fan in addition to noises from neighbors and all exterior doors. Pulte was a disappointing purchase. ... More

Our field manager and sales associate were very responsible and expressed interest in addressing all our concerns. Ask about how your layout will sit next to your neighbors’; our bathroom has a window above bathtub facing into neighbor’s upper hallway window!! (We fixed with an adhesive stained glass.) Approaching closing, the process became a bit rushed. We are planning to use the warranty for every little thing, but they haven’t been able to come out yet with the pandemic. They have been providing phone support which is good!

The whole process was smooth, would like to thank Mark for being there to answer all the questions we had and making the process run smoothly.

I love the home

The quality of the home is great. The process was smooth from start to finish. Pulte prides themselves on warranty, in which they have yet to deliver. Everyone that I have chatted with that built with Pulte has the same experience. If you have items that need addressed before you close, do it then or beware it may not get fixed!

We absolutely love the whole process, Pulte homes made it seem possible when we thought it was harder to obtain a near custom home. Thank you to everyone that worked with us every step of the way and continue to support us! I would absolutely recommend Pulte homes to friends and Family

After closing I came home to my kids bathroom destroyed because the marble guys didn’t coordinate with construction, also everything that was written down before the final walk-through was not fixed, I still have over 15 issues they have not been fixed and it’s been two months since I closed

We are still finding nails sticking out of our stairway, one of our bathrooms is missing a piece of shower curtain pole, trash from workers always needing to get picked up, back yard isnt flat. Those are just to name a few.

From the first meeting with a sales representative to the construction team leaders who were always responsive, we could not be more pleased.

We purchased an available inventory home. Everything went smooth and easy.

Looks like my three year old caulked and painted the exterior. It was painted under 30 F and is peeling and cracked. It was noted during closing in April and still not fixed. Nail pops are expected but not to this degree.

I have had couple of issues before closing which were promised to be fixed within first week after closing but they still have not been fixed yet. Not happy with after purchase response from Pulte.

The Sales Representative and the Building Supervisor were excellent. Both worked to build our house in the manner we wanted. But, they were constrained by what they were allowed to do. These are not semi-custom houses, but are builder houses that have some options. Even when not doing something that was on the plan would have saved time and money. It still could not be done. If we picked an option to add something there was always a charge, but when we opted to leave out something there was never any credit. We now have had to pay someone to take out and finish several areas the way we wanted. We understand that building houses in the same way aids cost containment and helps with time lines. But, to us the house purchaser it became costly and frustrating. Due to Covid 19 the warranty work that needs to be done has not started yet, but should be started in 1 1/2 weeks. The basic floor plan is very well done and the quailty is resonable for a “builder” house. There are a few things that did not make sense; 1) the light switch in the Mater bathroom is behind the door when you enter the bathroom, 2) the “built in bench” in the shower Is actual dangerous. It is 27 1/2 “ high. You have to lift yourself up to sit on it! It is recommended that a built in shower seat be no lower than 17” and no higher than 19”, 3) the decorative tile band in the shower is lower than it should be. If you are standing in the shower (which is lower than the bathroom floor) it is OK, but when standing in the bathroom it is visually not a pleasing hight. 4) there are not enough electrical outlets in the laundry room. Yes, it meets code, but a builder with Pulte’s reputation should do better. and 6) All the lights and the shower vent, in the Mater bathroom, came on with one switch. They need to be separated out. These are the things that come to mind that did not represent the very best in over all design. ... More

The Field Manager Rodney Dimapiles did a fantastic job on the house, overall we like it a lot. However, the house still has some small issues and still waiting for someone to come over to repair. The tesla solar system didn't install well. After a long waiting period for the city inspection, they find out the system has issues and have to fix the issue and run over again the same process. Not sure how long this will take but it's a little bit disappointing because we already wait for over 3month but still can't tell when we will able to use the solar system. The water pipe system for the outdoor landscape has a lot of issues and because of that, the water mains burst many times already. I wish the team can do better job. Multiple issues already in first 6 weeks, including plumbing, electrical, garage door, exterior. Poor quality with painting, molding and carpet. Carpet is terrible. Our kids get scratched from tack strips sticking out.

We really enjoy our new house and Pulte made the process easy.

Weekly construction updates were helpful as we were living out of state and could not be here on a regular basis to monitor progress.

Working with Pulte was generally very easy. We LOVE our new home. There were just a couple of issues during the build. They were weirdly unwilling to tell us where things like light switches and electrical outlets were going to be located. These are standard floorplans (but don't call them cookie-cutter, that really offends them...) so there has to be a standard electrical diagram, but they refused to let us see it, much less have a copy. Other builders I've worked with have provided such drawings as part of the new home info packet. Secondly, we closed in early spring, and as of this writing we've been here two months, and we still don't have a lawn. We were told we'd have it in 4 - 6 weeks, but that didn't happen. We've seen virtually no activity on lawn installation at any of the dozen or so occupied homes in our subdivision that don't have lawns yet. The two or three spec homes that Pulte built and are trying to sell of course do have lawns. These are annoyances rather than showstoppers, I would build with Pulte again. ... More

We lived out of AZ during much of the construction and were kept apprised of progress weekly by a great Project Mgr. And he continued when we got to AZ.

I had a great experience with Pulte homes, mortgage company and foreman when building my home. The communication was consistent, detailed and I felt very confident I was getting a great home.

Good workmanship.

Shop around before deciding to buy with Pulte. This will give you a better understanding of Value for your money. Take advantage of periodic meetings with the Field Manager such as the pre-drywall walk through so you have an idea of what goes into your home
