We love our new home!

Totally satisfied with process. Home was delivered in time frame promised and costs were within parameters discussed.

Would have got 5 stars but my AC line wasn’t hooked up and leaked out into my walls and floor, doorbell didn’t work, oven was broken, melted parts in my dishwasher, grass was dead due to a covered up sprinkler head.

Have always like Pulte Homes but never purchased one. Always thought that the quality and workmanship was top notch. Our purchase was a bit less than that. Attention to details, caulking, painting and clean home before move in was lacking. They need to revisit those issues to make sure the customer can move in with little concern for major things such as those. I don't want to move into a home and then have to go behind a 'professional' that has 'rushed' at his/her job. Overall, they are in the process of trying to make it right and make us as the homeowner, happy. That matters!!!!

New to NC. Love the area and neighborhood. House lacks attention to detail but overall is better than average. Disappointed with recreational center and pool not being finished. Should have been done before social distancing came along. Have a few issues with the house that have been submitted but also aren't being addressed.

Nice house

My husband and I are beyond thrilled to be living in our new home. Unfortunately the world changed due to Covid-19 and that put everyone in a grey area full of unknown circumstances. The main focus was everyone staying safe and healthy (as well as it should be). However once in our home there were unforeseen issues that could not be addressed due to the quarantine. The construction team were prompt with their responses on what they could do but it wasn’t much they could. Construction has since resumed and we were excited to get our final construction items “wrapped up” only to receive a letter explaining that we wouldn’t get our lawn, sidewalks or driveway completed no later than the end of July 2020. We understand that there is so much that goes on that we are never aware of but this is by far the most frustrating. We have daughters who can’t play with friends and are still quarantined but can’t play on the lawn outside and are growing tired of staying in. Again I’m sure this was not an easy choice for Pulte but rather a series of tough calls to make. I do hope everyone and their families are safe and healthy. My husband and I also want to mention that the design process was a bit difficult and we feel that a visual representation would help out significantly. It felt as we were relying on the interior designers knowledge as opposed to actually seeing a depiction of OUR design choices. The designer was great, patient and calm and we enjoyed her expertise but we feel it would’ve saved time for both parties and helped us figure out where to splurge and what to “cut corners on”. Excellent home builder

We purchased a Pulte home in March, 2020. The experience was amazing. The Sales Office Manager, Loan process, Title, Field Manager and customer Service personnel are very responsive, caring, courteous, and efficient with all the dealings we experienced with the home purchase.

we have only been in the home for 7 weeks but the experience has been very good except we would like to get more landscaping done before it gets too hot.

Quality seems great on the house itself. Seems like they cut corners with the way they grade the yards. Have had a flooding issue in the backyard since I moved in and I keep getting told every week that it will be fixed “next week”. The trees are put in with short little flimsy wooden stakes that do not hold up to Texas wind. Finally got them to restake the front yard tree with rebar which seems to have done the trick. As far as customer service they have been severely lacking in that department. I do love the home itself and do not regret my decision.

i am overall very happy with the attendance and and the way the project was organized and conducted by Pulte. this applies to all involved departments, sales design center, construction and construction supervision. schedule was ahead of time. looking forward to move in.

1. The overall design and "flow" of the home are very nice. The master bathroom and kitchen are two areas that rate five stars! 2. The Construction Superintendent was (and continues to be) very responsive and easy to work with. He definitely rates five stars. 3. The customer service/warranty dept. has been very responsive as well. 4. In hindsight, we should have been provided with a complete list of available standard (and custom) options. For example, the electrical service panel is rated for 150 Amps; it is very common today to build a new home with a 200 Amp panel. Because we needed more power for a home workshop, we had to hire the electrical contractor to add a sub-panel-totally at our expense. The plan for the workshop were discussed quite often with the builder, but not once was the panel rating brought up. That certainly should have been handled better. 5. There are quite a few issues (mostly minor) that need to be addressed that it seems could have been avoided with more attention to detail. ... More

Good value and craftsmanship!

Overall the experience was not as good as it should have been. It was very hard to get responses from the customer service representatives for the neighborhood and they were not ready for us to move in come the closing date. Throughout the build, we would get a weekly or bi-weekly update via phone to discuss progress but were never provided pictures when we weren't even in the same state for much time during the building process. The overall attention to detail was not great when it was time for us to move in. Even though we had asked for things to be fixed during our final inspection a week before closing, which also wasn't even close to being ready for inspection (they were still painting, fixing problems, and cleaning when we showed up), not everything was fixed properly. Instead of pushing out the closing date and needing to reschedule the moving company and all of the plans that were set in stone for months because we thought 6 months was enough time to do everything properly, we decided to get in the house and fix things ourselves. You would think contractors who build multiple homes at the same time non-stop would see there mistakes and do a almost perfect job every time but that is not even close to the truth. It is disappointing to find new problems or details after spending so much money on what is supposed to be a brand new home. Great experience overall

Everything was on time with good quality and a very responsive building supervisor and sales consultant

We were in constant contact with the building manager and he let us know what was going on at all times and let us visit the building site whenever we needed to. There are a few things that is a little faulty, some electrical ad cosmetics but overall workmanship is very good.

The process went very smooth. We enjoyed seeing progress every day. We have been in the home for two months and absolutely love our new home. Our only concern is the tile floors we selected. They have a film that we cannot get off and also a lot of the tiles are chipped. It looks like they were purchased at a discount. We have not had our 30 day walk through to let Pulte know but we do know Pulte will take care of it for us. We did look at another builder in the area. The house was nice. Then we found the Pulte home, we knew this is exactly what we wanted. We could tell the quality was spot on. During the build, one thing that really impressed us was Pulte is self-insured. To us, this meant they were not going to cut corners because it would cost them more in the end. Every time our field supervisor did a walk through with us, he pointed out what Pulte did above and beyond the requirements. Great house, great location and we are VERY happy. ... More

From the very beginning, the staff at Pulte have been ah-mazing! They have all taken the time to answer any questions or concerns. They have been quick to respond to voicemails or e-mails. Our building site manager sent us updates on any new progress on the home. Since we were 1000 miles away, this was greatly appreciated. Loan staff, design center, EVERYONE has been amazing. We love our new home.

I had a punch list ready for the walkthrough. Turns out I didn't need it, they fixed everything prior to the walkthrough, Very nice place, I'm very happy with it.

I was told this was the best built home in my area. I was disappointed with workmanship not up to the level I expected.

Covid 19 impacted our walk thru and moving in process. There's been no work or follow up in the 2+ months we've been in the house. No 7 day check in, no 30 day follow up and there are 3-4 issues that need addressing. We were told 2 months ago that things will be addressed when Pulte resumes that program. Still waiting-no communication/updates. Frustrating.
