This is our first home and I'd say that except for a small detail we're pretty happy. So far we didn't find any major defects or things that can't be quickly solved with the exception of one thing: a fan on the roof. The architect (i'm guessing) thought it was a great idea to put a high power fan on the very top of the building, dead center in the middle on our master bedroom roof. We're trying to figure out, still unsuccessfully, what to do about it.

Many systems in the house are very good but poorly integrated. Very good HVAC, very good home controls, good lighting but the ceilings in the house have holes everywhere. None of the systems are aesthetically aligned, multiple access panels for service, each contractor did what they wanted without any overall management. Cleaners came in and ruined stained doors and trim by using bleach and water to sanitize home. Kitchen cabinets are not commercial. Installer drove nails through the side of cabinets, smeared putty all over finished surfaces, cabinet trim fell off, scratches everywhere, ...

Pulte's response to issues that have come up since we moved in has been extremely disappointing. They do not follow up with you. The warranty department doesn't respond in a timely manner. I have water running into our home every time it rains. This has gone on for 3 weeks. No one has come out to repair it. Construction bins constantly have trash and garbage spilling onto the ground. This is vey unprofessional. I've told our friends we have made a mistake building with Pulte. They do not keep their promises after the closing. We've built several homes and this is the worst experience we ever ...

Pulte was responsive to our concerns of after sale issues. While the finishing painters were not the best and I would have a hard time calling the landscapers...landscapers, over all we love the house and are pleased with our purchase. Our salesperson was the best! And our coordinator for picking out interior design was also good, she really knew how to put everything together.

Purchased a brand new townhouse from Pulte- the property was priced per market and the added upgrades were good too. How er, with being in the house for 2 months, we are starting to see creaking floor at one place (it’s a brand new house), issues with the air conditioners, bathroom hardware not fixed properly and the wall paint is so fragile that the slightest of touch while walking up and down the stairs with boxes is creating major marks. Paid extra for an upgrade. Not worth it. Tiles & Grout were not sealed. Tiles have stained marks & excess grout. Bannister missing screws and nut bolt exposed. A toilet is loose. Vents/Extractors in bathrooms very inefficient. Places for show only. Paint lines crooked. White paint on the metal rails. POWER keeps tripping. Outside railing not stained. Garage and driveway excess cement not cleaned. Garden not weeded before closing. 30 day walk through still not done.

Pulte has been awful with the quality of work that has been performed, I have shutters that are coming of the home, I have not been in the home but a little over 60 days. The wood on my deck has completely cracked, there has been absolutely no one from warranty to address these issues whatsoever.

We moved in at the end of March...several items need fixed and we can hear in our kitchen everytime someone flushes the toilet upstairs..No insulation.. in walls...Kitchen cabinets doors are uneven...and I have big hole in my back yard and they keep putting dirt down for people who house was built after mine..Feel like since closing I don't matter.

Do a thorough inspection of your new home. I found a few things that need fixing. Luckily it's under warranty. Door sticking, Rattling noise in the air vent, hole on the master bathroom dry wall, hardwood floors has scratches in bedroom, hallway, kitcken, kitchen cabinet pullout drawer where stuck missing screws, front porch and back patio ceiling needs to be repainted. I loved the layout of the house. And most of all, I do like the location it is close to everything. Kroger, Publix, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, Sam's Club, and fast foods.

The best part of Pulte is the sales people that sell you on the house. They are polite and responsive. Everything after is a nightmare. So many issues with the build. Everything is broken and after living here for a month, the tape starts to peel from the walls. They use cheap and unqualified laborers sub-contracted 3 times over to save as much money on your build as they can. I have multiple broken items, broken quartz sink, broken stove, cracked upgraded glass, and so much more. All on a new house that cost about 1 million. They pretend to follow up but don't. House is average. Could have been more soundproof. Location of the condenser unit could have used a little more thought. You have to turn the volume up on the TV every time the unit starts. Management company the builder chose for the HOA lacks oversight of the community and communication. .

We first looked at Pulte homes in early June with a wonderful individual, she had a great personality, was open, honest and a pleasure to work with. Almost immediately after signing our contract, she was moved to a different location and a new representative was going to take over. All seemed fine until the emails responses were delayed, the responses were not detailed and the ask of a simple question seemed like too much work. We had many issues throughout the build process, most were due to the incompetence of the sales rep. On several occasions we were told we were getting one product by the sales rep only to find out too late in the build process that those items that heavily swayed our decision to purchase, either 1. Weren't available, or 2. Were only available if we chose a different option or 3. We were mislead on what we were getting. I could go on and on but there's not enough space. Smooth in some areas, needs work in others

-Tile grout in the main bathroom not filled in completely causing dirt to fill in those areas not covered, need to buy something else to get the dirt out. -There are visible gaps around the front door, insulation was not done properly. -The landscaping is the major problem area, the area was not properly evened out before installing grass, there are many uneven areas that have now caused flooding with no drainage, in other areas, there is just mud. This is causing us to have a professional come in and redo the entire landscaping of our home.
