We are very happy with our new Clearview model in Starkey Ranch. We have noticed a few minor issues with workmanship, but they have been responsive to many issues. Since we’re in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic things are at a bit of standstill for warranty work, but I’m hopeful once things ramp back up they’ll get everything taken care of.

We have had several issues immediately after buying, several cracked tiles noticed it appears Installed this way and tile chips, uneven floor with dips, cracked driveway pavers. Quality of kitchen cabinets is poor, had warranty work on cabinets and when they put the doors back they are now uneven, And draw keeps falling off track, Incorrect spacing of wires for tv wall hanging. Dripping gutter, house lacked final cleaning with dried grout or caulk on floor and very difficult to get off. I have heard horror stories about friends and families building houses and when they may have an issue, the builder will not fix, or if they do they never get it right. Pulte has been great, they build a beautiful home and they were very prompt in addressing any concerns that we had!

We built our new home and it is great, but Pulte up-charges EVERYTHING so the price gets very hi unless you don't do any upgrades. Overall it was a good experience but now dealing with yard issues such as grading and sod that is going to potentially take 4 months during the summer is hard and should not ever take that long.

Great initial delivery but too many small issues later

I was very happy with the initial delivery and construction of the home, but afterwards I have not been able to get significant issues resolved. This is partly due to Covid-19 , but we have issues in the home that should have been caught before we moved in that we have had to live with for the last 1.5 months and counting. I am concerned that I wont be able to get them fixed after the crisis ends.

It’s a little unfair to write this review in the middle of the COVID-19 virus and with stay-at-home in effect. I was so excited to move into my new house. I love the floor plan of the model I purchased; however, I thought many of the upgrades I purchased were quite expensive and I now I also have a list of issues I would like to have addressed inside the house. We had a pretty good home buying experience with Pulte Homes. Though there were few initial hiccups around the time of closing and also after moving in, the Field Manager took care of all the high risk items after we moved in. Customer support from Pulte has been pretty good on fixing some of the urgent issues after we moved in. One thing we are not quite happy is we were not given a default white cabinets option during design center meetings, while another owner who was just around 2-3 weeks behind us in the home buying process were given a default white cabinets option. I am very pleased to have bought a condo at Highcrest from Pulte homes. Pulte Holmes has been around for a long time and can be trusted for offering quality home and a fair market price. The overall build of the home was good. The issue was in the response times to minor repairs. There was often a delay of a week or more for simple repairs like drywall fixes, painting touch-ups, etc. What REALLY makes me question Pulte is what we discovered in our house about a month after owning it. At the time we purchased the home, we didn't notice anything, however gradually over a month of ownership we noticed a growing persistent odor permeating from the ceiling. The sales process was smooth. The quality of the finishing, (trim work, tile installation, painting) was low in my opinion. The superintendent for my build came across as helpful but his follow through has been poor as far as making sure the finishing issues are resolved. Unfortunately some of the repair work has resulted in more damage/poor workmanship than before the repair. The house closing was moved up 3 weeks from its original date and the quality of the final product seems to have be sacrificed to make this happen.

Building experience was excellent. Our building manager was great and kept in constant contact. Problems started once we moved in. We noticed a long list of issues and attempted to get the pertinent ones fixed and wait on the cosmetic. The Customer Care Manager is polite, but is difficult to get any follow up and zero results. It took over 2 weeks to get in touch with our Customer Service Manager who advised that the issues should have been handled by builder and we would have to wait until 11 month walk thru to get majority addressed. This is my second time building a home and this experience was by far better than my previous experience with a different builder. Every question or issue I had was answered or fixed promptly and I always knew what was going on with my house every step of the way. I would definitely build again with Pulte.
