We identified several issues, including unfinished work and defects, during our walkthrough. Given the current state of the house, it would be unreasonable for Pulte to request us to proceed with the closing. If we were local, I would decline the closing because the house is not ready for occupancy. Even after the closing, Pulte had yet to assign workers to address issues in our house, hindering our ability to change the garage door code. In the days following the closing, we visited our new house multiple times and discovered new problems regularly, such as chipped hardwood floors that raised concerns about the material quality. The window frames were constructed using defective wood, prompting questions about Pulte's choice of materials. Additionally, the toilet was either blocked or flooded, presumably due to workers using it (which they shouldn't). We have also brought some belongings from our old house to the new one, and I'm concerned about the security of these items. The design lacks consideration for convenience. For instance, in the master bath, there's no accessible location for a dry towel after a shower. The towel bar is actually installed in the toilet room, a separate space from the shower. Finding a suitable spot for a towel bar within reach in the shower is challenging. In the kitchen, there are large cabinets but a shortage of drawers, making it difficult to efficiently organize the space for various storage needs ... More

We thought we trusted the brand name, but unfortunately, we did not receive what it was worth even though we paid for higher options.

Information withheld prior to purchase. Some poor quality materials. Landscaping is horrible - trees are dead after only two-three months in the ground! Cheapest grass in Florida.

The Construction Project Managers: Anthony, Brandon & Tyler, were very professional and responsive throughout our entire build experience. They readily answered our questions, resolved any concerns, and made sure our home met the Pulte expectations. We felt they went above our expectations and we value their commitment to customer satisfaction and a quality build experience.

Little changes that you want and are willing to pay for will not not be allowed and must be done after closing- example install a light you purchased- add shelving in closet- add water drops in basement- paint the inside of garage- add a deck. Probably industry wide but receptacles for lights and plugs seem cheap and could. use an upgrade. House delivered on time and with minor fix items that were readily corrected- Pulte employees were helpful and easy to work with - over a good experience and product - would recommend

I have two sinks plumbed incorrectly. There is a piece of trim that was never installed. Carpet nails stab your feet in the main floor living room. When it's windy the southern siding make a lot of noise. I'm concerned that the furnace won't pass inspection due to a valve touching the door. Windows and other fixtures were never cleaned post install. Places that were shown to have defects in the walk throughs were never fixed.

Pulte homes are beautiful and quality, the construction manager takes his time to explain everything to your understanding, he’s a good listener, above all pulte homes are the best.

We selected a 2-story design on a concrete pad in the $500K+ price range. Under present circumstances I cannot recomend the purchase of a Pulte home. Mortgaged it through Pulte w $15K closing cost incentive which was quite helpful in lowering interest rate. The mortgage app process was fairly simple and smooth. Loved it but: The quality of materials is average at best, a lot of the workmanship was simply awful. After closing, problems (even obvious ones) are only acknowledged by Pulte if buyer mentions them first. To name but a few of the problems: 1. The drywall finishing was crude, lumpy in places, not even and smooth in others, drwall tape edges showing through at corner beads etc. Workers who come to repair are obviously inexperienced and certainly not very capable. 2. Corner stud walls were installed out of square and plumb, so much so, that almost every corner spot and wall in the main entry/ hallway is visibly out of plumb (i.e. floor trim bows in and out and isn't parallel to floorboard joints). 3. Most of the baseboard trim in the house, especially the entry way, is rippled or bowed due to bulging wall studs and out-of-plumb corner studs. Nary a straight line in the place. 4. There are countless globs in the paint finish everywhere. In all probability, either their brushes were dirty or they just painted over drywall mud that hadn't been removed. And no matter what they might call it, Pulte applies only a primer wall paint throughout. 5. Immediately upon moving in water infiltrated two windows (at interior windowsill) during an average rain shower. We were told the infiltration was due to "improper caulking" by installer, but imo there is a design flaw by Simonton the like's of which I've never seen in homes at this price range. Also, 8 of the 18 windows are difficult if not nearly impossible to open beyond halfway (due to improper installation or inferior quality), and one is quite visibly not square. 6. Large, dark, unsightly stain spot (16" approx) on the back porch from unknown source remains. We had to ask for it to be fixed. 7. Plumbing was run primarily below concrete pad resulting in a minimum 2 - 3 minute wait (2.5 gal) for hot water at kitchen sink, master bath sinks, and the 2nd first floor bathroom. ... More

I have an excellent experience all through my home building process with Pulte Homes. The sales representative and the VP sales were very friendly and experienced. The staff member that attended to me during my visit to the Pulte Homes Studio where I selected my home materials and fittings was friendly , experienced and shared in-depth thought about each material and fitting. I also have excellent experience with the mortgage team and construction team. I received timely progress updates from the mortgage and construction teams. The work quality is excellent and completion time to handover was as planned during the pre-construction meeting with my house construction manager. In all , I enjoyed working with the different team members that were involved in the building of my house. ... More

Overall the buying experience with Paul was very smooth. He was very responsive to questions and feedback during the sales process. When things transitioned over to construction, our CM Rob was also very helpful and flexible given we were living out of state. After moving in Rob made sure everything was as we designed it and any issues were remedied. CS Rob had been also very responsive to new issues we have found after living here for a little over a month and ensured that they are getting addressed.

Great floor plan and design options. Great field people. Corporate needs some training to be flexible on some stuff like mortgage services, sales promotions hidden fact explanation, flexibility in days of closing. Just don't Pulte's advantage to meet revenue target. Overall nice experience with home. Waiting to see how quickly Pulte's responses/their suppliers to service request..

Overall we are happy being in our new home and determined to make the best of it. This is our second Pulte home experience. The first experience was very good. This time, 9 years later, we found the experience to be very frustrating. The sloppiness of the workers. We have scratches on tubs, windows, mirrors. You name it and it was handled roughly. Because we did not catch the multiple issues on the final walk-thru( we were told to just make a list after the walk thru and they would fix) they will NOT repair or replace. Ridiculous! They changed items in the house we ordered without informing us or giving us any say on the matter—they said “we can do this, it’s in the contract”. Well, there is a basic decency when dealing with someone who has taken the time to special order a home. My advice, don’t plan a house to your choices, you won’t get them! I started buying home with very little experience in the market but Pulte group provided all the necessary details and confidence that I can buy a home. I was so happy seeing our home after the finish, it is not just beautiful but built with quality materials. Thank you Pulte Homes.

Michael, gave me the inspection tours of the home. He seemed very helpful and knowledgeable about each product in the home. He was able to answer any questions that were asked of him.

I love my new home, features in the house are annoying and risky (smart features like security and garage door connect to wifi and have security risks), pest control tries to upsell you. Builders did an ok job, not the best but good. Underwriting not clear. 3.5-4/5

Make sure you inspect every aspect of your home build. We found numerous things wrong ( including beer cans in our walls). We found out that the flooring company Pulte uses has a D- rating. Once you sign the walk through papers you will not have much luck getting things repaired in a timely manner.

Great staff and amazing home

Great location and the overall plan is good. The units are “mass produced” so don’t expect bespoke craftsmanship. Sales process was smooth and easy. Lara was very helpful.
