Big shoutout to Laurel and Derrick with the Hayford Collection Team. Worked through several issues that we had while our previous home was pending escrow.

Working with construction team and the finance team was over the top awesome. Very responsive and great people. Steve from construction, and Amber and Cassandra from Finance were just outstanding. As for sales rep, very bad communication with us along with not being truthful at all.

We had an okay experience with the home buying process. The sales office and project manager were great to work with. We had a very upsetting experience with the Pulte Mortgage lender who preapproved us at 1.5% lower than their actual rate. We used another lender who was more than 1.5% lower than the mortgage company and Pulte came fighting for our business. We lost trust in them. The building of the homes is okay. There is poor craftsmanship throughout the home. I will say that they were addressed but a new counter top should not have a nick in it or the floors have repaired scratches. There was a lot of paint droppings on the floor and carpet that needed cleaned off. A few knobs are cross threaded. Overall, being a new build more attention should have been put in the workmanship and quality. ... More

Purchased a spec home where most choices were already made, although I was allowed a couple of options. I requested to add a saltwater pool, got a pool but was chlorine pool, now have to pay an additional $2,000 to convert it. Was also told that I would have glass insert front door, and glass office doors, of which I got neither. Make sure to go line by line on what you are getting and what is agreed to, after the fact as they were building the house, I was told what you agreed to with the salesperson is NOT on my build list. Feel completely misled by the purchase process. I have now been in my home for about 2 months, I still have blue painters tape where items are still waiting to be completed, disappointed that I am still waiting for items to be repaired / completely properly. The process to get the items on the punch list done is not easy, poor follow up. Overall, I believe the house will be nice when completed, but my advice, make sure you are in complete agreement with what you are getting, when it will be done, and when repairs will be fully completed. Very very bad experience, don’t trust pulte. Had multiple issues through out the process but they don’t have time to fix it as they are very busy with other customers and don’t care about old customers. I made a bad choice building my dream home with pulte, please don’t do what I did. We built our house once in lifetime and they don’t care once they get the money.

We've bought his house based on its location and the fact that it is a new construction. Design of house is fine, used every inches of the space to be useful and functional. We have problems with workmanship and quality control of the builder after their contractors finished the work. We've had so many electrical problems and still finding out more each week. Most of all, our house is literally next to the road. The noise we have in bedrooms are terrible. When we've met with project managers, he was showing how the noises are greatly reduced in their homes with special windows in model homes. They failed to mention that our home "didn't qualify" to have those windows until we've moved in and noticed the such. Pulte informs me that those windows were only for the few homes on Brock road. The road next us "doesn't have much traffic or high speed limit". It is so loud and feels like sleeping on the sidewalk at times. You've thought that over .1.3 million dollar home would get you a quiet home. We have a middle and high school children and we are worried that they can't focus or get restful sleep due to the noise from the street. It will definitely affect on their academic and athletic performances. We've spoken to other home owners in the neighborhood and they all have similar issues as well. Also I am still waiting on a simple part for my AC unit to reduce the noise. Pulte home warranty service provides pretty good job with responding to the issues. But why does't Pulte build a better quality homes in the beginning and do the less warranty services? ... More

My wife and I have purchased two homes with Pulte about 4 years apart. The first experience with Pulte was excellent the second experience was not so great. The customer service seems to have dwindled over the years. We have had several issues with the home and trying to resolve them have been a challenge. I am not un reasonable person however I expect major issues to be resolved timely and correctly. I would say I have a very difficult time getting ahold of the right person to discuss issues or have a concern addressed. Pulte's level of response and attention to detail has drastically decreased over the years. ... More

Follow up on issues could be better. They provide a date when contractors should return to fix things but they show up at different dates / times.

Not too happy with the overall quality

Overall experience was good, However, there were some issues that I feel need to be addressed. When the slab for our home was laid, the back porch was approximately 6' short, I had to point out this issue, it was not brought to my attention. When sheetrock was installed, there was a noticeable bulge on the kitchen island, again we had to bring to the builders attention, also, the counter top on the island was crocked, again all these items were corrected, but they never should have occurred in the first place. We even had to point out a decorative feature on the front of the house was left off. As far as timing. We were initially told one date, then another, and another, this was probably the most frustrating part. I understand that delays can occur, but we had way too many to be a coincidence. ... More

Pulte does an exceptional job on the front in selling the home however the experience post sell is horrible. To get things accomplished is like a second job. It's unfortunate the repairs/warranty items become a line item. Pulte attempts to hold out on repairs until homeowners give up

We were not able to catch issues at each step during the build. As you can imagine dealing with problems after you close, takes months to address all the issues. It has taken 2 months to address the14 work orders- that detail badly installed, missing or completely incorrect items put in place. When I say it feels like there was no pride in the work... one example is when there was a safety issues with the upgraded oven, when it was pulled out, we found sawdust, screws and other construction debris plus scratches in the upgraded cabnets- that were literally covered up!(which showed what little regard the workers have that this would be someone's home) We also noticed that most of the upgrade choices, we made at center, put the workers off their game as 90% has been incorrect, disregarded completely or put in place broken. Whats worse, when I pointed out one obvious issue, i was told "yeah, but its not as bad as the house around the corner"!! ... More

Our experience is this. Structurally, the house is great. However, the quality of the trade's workmanship is poor. For example, painters and crown/floor molding. Pulte took no steps to protect our LVP flooring. Leaving marks on the floors throughout the house. Stains on the carpeting. The painters were notorious for over-spray. Over-spray on floors and porches. Several other items not mentioned here.

Love our new home. Main issue is the 9 foot sliding door. It is very heavy and is still not adjusted correctly. Wish they could replace it with better product. For price of home it should be easier to open and close. Building manager Tom has been very responsive to our issues.

The team at Pulte was caring and thorough. They made sure my new house was made with high quality and expediently.

GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH PULTE HOMES FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END OF MY HOME BUYING PROCESS.

After two months since COE, some items are still not addressed or fixed. The appointments have been re-scheduled for 2 or 3 times.

Pulte has a great reputation and builds beautiful homes. Some cosmetic items were shabby which does not seem consistent with the brand. Examples are, crooked outlets and AC vents, uneven ceilings, paint over spray, caulk and paint splatter on floors, crooked toilets. With that said the home is solid with good bones. The warranty follow-up is EXCELLENT! They stand by their product.

Overall we are pleased with our new home from Pulte, We still have some fairly minor unresolved issues but Pulte is working through them. It seems that labor shortages have caused some of the delays and that may be beyond their control. Pulte's comprehensive warranty does give us confidence that everything will be handled to our satisfaction.

We had a stress free buying through the entire process. We feel great buying a home from a trusted builder Pulte.

I would recommend Pulte Home to all my family and friends. I have good experience and a satisfying results

I have owned my Pulte home less than 45 days and was, overall, quite pleased with it. Then we had a moderate rainfall and my basement was flooded. Mike, our Customer Care representative, came out to bring fans and a dehumidifier, which were greatly appreciated. Mike took the cover off our sump pump, and discovered that the well had several large pieces of rock, brick, and wood, which had apparently blocked the pump and caused it to malfunction. As soon as we discovered the water in the basement, we moved everything over to an area that was dry. However, we had a large area rug in my craft room in the basement, and it was completely soaked. The only way we could save the rug and avoid mold and mildew from growing, was to send it out to be cleaned and disinfected, at a cost of about $700.00. When I inquired as to whether Pulte would be taking care of that cost for us, we were told no. I feel that is a lousy way to treat your customer, since the cause of our loss was clearly shoddy work practices. ... More

Communication and support through the process was great. The quality of the home is exactly what we expected.

Pulte is a great company and want to build a great house. The only thing is they should let you make changes to customize your home. Nothing major to change just small ones are not allowed and for the price paid small customization should be allowed with no issues as apposed to spending a fortune to make the changes after build is complete

Delivered on time. Everyone we worked with was helpful and responsive. No major issues but a few workmanship misses. Generally satisfied.
