The overall process was disappointing, sales was always promising things that were never fulfilled. The house was rushed and the quality of the home was not what we have seen from Pulte. I will never buy a home or refer anyone to buy from this builder. The house was not finished at closing and was not finished for over a month after closing. The warranty does not respond to emails or voicemails. There are still items that have not been resolved and no time frame for them to be completed. This review is a waist of my time for that fact that my house will still be incomplete. Lee Young was a great home buying realtor. Was always very helpful when we had questions and got back to us very fast.

The close date got moved back significantly (2 months). Once in the house the quality was great and it came out very nice. There have been some minor issues we've experienced since moving in, but Pulte is quick to send someone out to get them fixed.

The sales team gave us an awful experience especially Trenton and Jacque. They were manipulative and constantly lying about the home building process, incentives and much more. The building team we worked with was great and and saved the experience. There are some issues with the house that still haven’t been corrected. Thanks.

Our experience with sales was horrible after the contract was signed. Sales person is unorganized & needs retraining. Construction side was good. However the quality of paint is horrible. You cannot clean walls without the paint coming off. Pulte mortgage has too much turnover & we were shuffled around multiple times with loan professionals. When timing is key for locking in a rate, the communication is not fast enough. Ended up costing us a higher rate. If a deposit was not on the line, we would have walked away early on.

Chad the sell guy he’s really good and professional. We get 2 houses from them on the same time one next to each other.

Unfortunately, there was a water leak issue in the laundry room of my new home, before I even moved in. I submitted a warranty service request, and within hours received a phone call from Garrett. The entire issue was handled and resolved within days. I am very pleased with the results and Customer Service from Garrett and Pulte Homes.

The contractors that Pulte has access to are just not that good. There were many things that had to be recompleted correctly. My superintendent was very good! He was able to get projects recompleted correctly. Some timely and some not so timely.

The process went smoothly until 2 weeks before closing. Then the wheels fell off. Construction, Title and Mortgage are not tightly aligned. Many issues arose relating to the backend processes we assumed were handled, but were not. Issue with an added soft water loop not properly detailed on the plans. Appears to be a major HVAC design issue/flaw that will need to be addressed. Communication during the transition to ownership wasn't what it should be. Felt like once they had our money, we were no longer a priority. HOA issues, location issues, USPS issues. Lots of details missed. Construction is average and what you would expect from this type of build. Not a lot of attention to details. More like just get the job done. Good response team, courteous and friendly

Construction Manager was great. The workmanship is ok. In a year I’ll know more.

The building Manager was very thorough with our walk through and made sure everything was done right before my move in date. I was very pleased with his walk through and he covered everything. He took his time and explained everything about the house from furnace filters to the sprinkler system. He also was very clear about the warranty and explained how it works and what I needed to do to get things repaired if needed. I was very pleased with all I learned moving into a new house!

We were looking for a house which would meet our needs for our last home. Pulte satisfied all our criteria with their floor plan. On site agent, April, and Construction Manager Ryan were always available for our questions and concerns, and attentive to our needs. Each made us feel comfortable in our decisions, as construction progressed. I would give April and Ryan 10s on a scale 1-10, with 10 the best.

We never felt like one in the plenty. From sales to delivery each person was very personable yet professional.

We went into contract and closed in April, the house seemed great when I flew over and walked it. However it seems after talking to neighbors and my own experiences you’re better off buying one built and not in process because they rush it and leave so many issues trying to get it to the finish line. I’d rather it be late than deal with what I have going on. The overall quality control is terrible. Trim plates in devices are crooked, they’re cut because boxes were installed too close to doors and the door trim made the switch plates not fit so they cut them down and caulked it. As an electrician this is mostly the fault of the electrician not added a block to space or but also the builder to qc that. It looks terrible. Every seam almost in the living room drywall ceiling is visible. House was turned over to me after the cleaners came, which didn’t dust any drywall dust off anything, entire house was covered in it. After they mopped and left they smeared it all over the new plank floors. I had to mop it 7 times to get it walkable and for us to move in without tracking it everywhere. Patched holes and dings sanded down left unpainted everywhere. Took weeks and multiple visits and still aren’t done even after sticky posting them all. Hardened drywall mud and paint spots all over the floors, weeks to get someone to come remove that and totally missed two rooms after being here all day to do it. My entire living room ceiling when walking in master cracks and pops like wood snapping or a tree falling, it does this no where else upstairs. The solution was to add screws everywhere. In 5 visits now I’ve had my carpet ripped up and screws add, baseboards removed and screws added along with cutting a hole through my Living room ceiling somehow which has been patched but still not painted, now I have about 100 screws in my living room ceiling about every 1” or less on every joist. This has now sucked the drywall so tight to the joists every taped drywall seam is bowing and cracked now, it looks like waves all over my living room ceiling. Not to mention all the mail pops that will occur. Finally a month a half later they’re going to open the ceiling to investigate the noise. Keep in mind same materials used 2’ away and all upstairs and this is the only section that does this. First time using the shower there was a leak in the wall which swelled up the drywall, baseboards on both sides of wall and door trim. They sent a plumber to fix it who did, drywall came and replaced holes and patched and did baseboards. However they painted over swollen MDF door trim and left paint runs everywhere, paint on my new carpet. Had to come back and replace door trim and recaulk everything. Also the hot water heater had some factory issue. I had no hot water for 3 weeks and it took 4 visits from the plumbers and me demanding a more experienced one before it was fixed. They replaced every single part, blamed electrical, which it wasn’t as I am an electrician for 15 years. Supervisor came out and fixed it that day. They won’t cover and if your stuff, they put 100 screws in my living room ceiling yesterday and didn’t cover our new table, sectional, 70” TV, sound bar, entertainment center, all covered in drywall dust. They did vacuum the floor though so I guess that’s okay? Garbage disposal was wired wrong so dishwasher didn’t work unless garbage disposal was running so they just left it unplugged not working. Basically I’ve had maybe a week out of a month and a half not including weekends I didn’t have a bunch of people in our house fixing and damaging more stuff. Upstairs bathroom fan was left without a cover on it. The two from lights on side of garage are not level, one sits down on the trim much farther. Dead eye sore and they just put the siding on and didn’t even care. I’m not expecting much, just get my home to the state you would if you were trying to sell it! The open houses don’t have drywall dust all over every switch plate and receptacle plate, below every mirror, in every corner, all over the counters and living room floor. No paint or mud dried to floors. I mean come on. Essentially I have not had 1 single room without some issue, or less left behind. Not one. NOT ONE! Hot water should have been tested, leak test should have found the leak in the wall, inspection and QC should have heard the sounds from the messed up install of master flooring above living room as it wakes you from a dead sleep. Sounds like someone breaking wood or a tree falling when someone is walking. Paint, I mean that’s the easiest to QC. Oh they used clear caulk on A beautifully done quartz counter too against the wall so it looks like there’s large gaps. Should have been white, they used white in the seams of the counter top. This is backwards. Of course they use flat paint everywhere because it’s cheapest, can’t complain about that but we immediately added eggshell/satin to the walls because they get marked up in about 1 week if you have a kid and you can’t wash them as well. My advice having built pulte homes in california, it’s gone downhill out in Kentucky area and you need to REALLY be on top of it, especially if you’re in contract and it’s not finished. I have 3 families in 50’ from me that are all having the same issues. Be there every week and make lists and demand decent craftsmanship! ... More

I will always be grateful to every person from Pulte Homes who assisted me on my journey of buying my first house. They did a very good job in explaining and making sure that I will have a smooth process since I am a first home buyer. From my sales representative, my Contractor, my Loan Processor (Pulte Mortgage), and Insurance Representative (Pulte Insurance), they are all amazing...

Overall I would avoid building with pulte. The quality of the home is poor. We have walls with giant waves in them due to poor craftsmanship. The cabinets feel cheap and are falling apart already and we upgraded them. The stair treads look rushed and show gaps and look bad. The trim work is terrible. The painters left paint splattered everywhere inside and out. They painted over nails sticking out of the trim. The tiling has multiple cracks already in the grout and a few chips they tried hiding in the tiles. The ac was not installed correctly. This is a common trend with the neighbors as well. The electrical is terrible, if you plug a coffee machine or anything into an outlet it causes the can lights to flicker. This house was not cheap and seeing the quality of work really makes you feel sick. When it comes to the communication or lack there of don’t expect a clear answer from anyone at pulte. We had sales reps lye to use about landscaping and things that could be done. Our contractor seemed to know nothing about the house or the layout. They lied multiple times about things being installed and never got installed. They blamed most of the problems on the trade companies used but the blame is on pulte for hiring such lousy companies. The claim center is extremely hard to get ahold of someone to fix the issues after the fact and when they do they send people in to bandaid the problems. The spec home that they walk you through is no where near what you get. Had our home been shown when we decided to purchase, we would never have made the commitment. Very poor quality and workmanship. Sloppy workmanship and home was dirty (no where near move in ready) Far too many issues to name. Our new home purchase was a stressful and anything but a good experience. Our hope is that everything will be taken care of satisfactorily. We will see. Gianni has been great to work with. We appreciate him.

Lack of trades work being checked for quality. It seems the area lacks the labor force to meet deadlines. I would reconsider if I could. Get sod in back because the other option is all weeds. The area was strewn with garbage and nails and old wood throughout process. They try but to much going on.

Sales lady Marissa was very helpful and patience, she was our main contact with Pulte!!
