Home buying experience was great, it was after that was a nightmare. The upgrades we paid for were put in the wrong spot and are having difficulties getting them to fix their mess up. Electrical issues in the garage. Lights flickering while a single device is turned on and I’m being told that’s just how it is, because the lights run on the same circuit as the outlets. Sink plug broke after first use.

The builder is forced to employ subs that are not the quality that we experienced with our prior Pulte Homes. Pulte appears to be pushing its subs to get things done quicker rather than better. Pulte appears to rely on its post settlement process of repairing and/or replacing items or workmanship that should have been done right in the first place. The process simply stated is that you tell us what is wrong and we will check it out and get it corrected as soon as we can (which is not necessarily quickly). We would have to give much thought before we would purchase another Pulte Home.

Field Manager has a problem with keeping appointments he made for warranty maintenance. Defective blinds STILL have not been fully corrected, Exhaust fan in bathroom replaced-upstairs bathroom exhaust starting to go out. Bathtub faucet needs to be replaced,, going on 60 days and nothing. Finish/surface of concrete driveway and walk way is flawed. Brown stains & dark spots. Advised RDU Warranty was told it was not their problem.

I have had several issues with the home that were not corrected , the site manager stop communicating with me so now I am working with your warranty department hoping to get some repairs taken care of, so the experience was great up until closing then things have gone down hill from there.

The personnel at the sales office, financing and closing were all great! They quickly responded to any and all questions and concerns alonge the way. However, after we moved in there were some quality issues that we hadn't noticed before and response to these concerns has been very slow. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase but wish we had inspected more carefully and addressed these quality issues before signing.

Our heating unit has been broken for over a month and it has not been fixed. Supposedly they need a part that they can’t seem to obtain. It is actually snowing today. No heat. This is a brand new building. How hard is it to find a part? The are building another 50 unit condominium complex right next to ours. Couldn’t they take one heating unit from there. Our heating unit leaked down to the two floors below us, so we are all unable to have anything in our coat closets.

At first the response to issues was immediately taken care of by Pulte but the vendor responses are terrible. They don't respond to phone calls or they just don't fix the issues.

I like the design and flow of my house. Project manager gave detailed description of phases of the construction. Final walk went through every little detail of the house and I was satisfied that I would be moving into a well-constructed house.

It’s been almost 2 months since we purchased the house,We still can’t sleep in our owner’s bedroom. I was given a house that is not strongly insulated,all the road noise is inside the house. I am spending extra 10K for a livable environment,we are about to sue to get compensated.

Everyone I worked with was nice and helpful for the most part. The craftsmanship is sub par. The cabinets and counters are well done. Painting job was sloppy and I removed paint splatter from many places on my new flooring. I have found several cracks and chips in things that I’ve submitted requests for but still am waiting to hear back about a plan of action. I can appreciate the speed at which the home was built but it was definitely at the cost of quality attention to detail

It’s been a nightmare. Tons of issues found on the pre closing walkthrough now 5 months later still fighting to get things corrected. The people that come fix stuff just damage more things in the process so we are getting nowhere other than more problems. The communication sucks completely about who is doing what when. People don’t show when they are supposed to I have missed days of work and changed plans over and over to accommodate for no one to show

This has been a horrible experience. We bought the house beginning of August, 2023. The cabinet had to be replaced because of manufacturing defect. They came and replaced it one month after the house is closed. Two months later they still haven’t put in a countertop and fix the plumbing. This was not disclosed before we closed. Terribl, just terrible

The buying experience was very nice. However, the closing was a nightmare. The closing date was pushed by the Pulte title closing company because they would not allow our mortgage company to do an escrow account because of the outside landscaping and the driveway and the sidewalk were not completed. We had to pay an extra $600 which was an hour or our mortgage company fault the manager at the pool day office did not when I agreed to that escrow and then all of a sudden she did. I feel like she just wanted to charge us $600 because we did not go with Pulte Mortgage from the beginning so she ...

This experience of buying a brand new home has been nothing short of terrible, first of all you do the walk through of your new home and everything is looking good as can be expected but within the first week everything started breaking!! 1. The process is great but once I moved in the quality of the paint is bad it looks like is too thin the paint falls off easily the cabinets were in even and scratch . The grout on the tile was missing I’m really disappointed with the price that I pay for I will have to call the builder once I’m back from my vacation
