A lot of people are a part of the home buying process which created unneccessary headaches due to communication issues. Once in the home there have been NUMEROUS quality issues that were missed during the repair time after the walkthrough. Some things were covered up and would never have been discovered until they became an issue if it wasnt for the fact that we decided to change some fixtures. Mis-cut holes in the ceiling that was covered up with extra caulking and paint, cracked cabinets that, dents and dings in cabinets which were just painted over with a seemingly different sheen of paint, dings in the flooring, HVAC that has had to be repaired 2x in one month due to a failure to "hoop it up properly", bubbles in the drywall, refrigerator opening to short by 1/2 inch so my standard fridge will not sit in properly without being cut, crack in the shower enclosure from what appears to be an accident, sink hole in the front yard that was just filled in with bark chips, plants that are not surviving (was told they were going to be replaced but still hasn't been done) and so on. AND IVE ONLY BEEN HERE A MONTH! Love the area, love the neighborhood, workmanship definitely not worth the price tag after seeing whats actually been done. Very Poor Kept tell us one thing and then revised it till it became a 6 month nightmare.

Too many promises and very nice people till you close

Good experience in general, house looks like well robust build (for the 1st month living there) Hopefully will be in that same way in the next years.

I have purchased several new homes from national builders in FL and in other places. I have never in my life felt so betrayed and completely taken advantage of. In my opinion the quality of the home is terrible, I am embarrassed by it. Sales tells you what you want to hear. Construction promises the world and doesn't deliver then they deny it. Warranty argues every single point to try to get out of doing things the correct way. If you like the sounds of squeaky floors, flashing all over your walls, the most shoddy workmanship that you have seen from top to bottom and then a warranty person trying to intimidate you every time you speak to them then Pulte is for you and you should sign up. Don't take my word for it, ask other Pulte homeowners. I have heard many similar stories to mine from other homeowners. Are there any happy customers?? The worst for me is when you speak to upper management and they do nothing to help with issues that you bring up to them and they take the side of trades and everyone else instead of their customer. I like the process that was communicated and quality of homes

We had a wonderful sales person who kept us informed every step of the way. Our construction supervisors were very informative at both of our meetings. A few minor problems noted on inspection were quickly corrected.

Many issues with home. Workmanship is less to be desired with work not completed properly.

Everything in this house was rushed and looks like a half done job. Super sloppy work. Even the most basic things were not up to par. At first I was happy but after settling in I’m finding so many things wrong. Very disappointing.

I'm afraid that our overall experience hasn't been super wonderful. I believe in an effort to close as many deals as possible at the end of 2022, we got "dropped". Gas stub, chandelier wiring, wrong countertops put into the bathrooms and laundry room...house wasn't cleaned at all properly (we spent days cleaning ourselves!), and the painting was not done well at all -- still pencil arrows and marks on the walls in many areas. Now, trying to get the counters put in as requested has really become a difficult issue...overall not happy.

Scott was very professional and helpful. He walked with me and explained many features of the house.

Sale agent had little information, mortgage had a lot of people contacting me and was sent in circles to get answers, contractor good communication and helpful

This project was significantly delayed which caused me to incur significant additional costs.

There are lots of issues after closing mostly cosmetic but they are not being addressed timely broken sinks , fireplace rock falling out, doors and bathroom hardware not installed correctly, irrigation exposed , cabinet doors loose or falling apart, scratches on cabinets and appliances, floors were left with huge amounts of grout on tiles that was not cleaned out after the fact, blinds that do not work properly, paid for cabinet hardware that has not been installed 1 month and a half after closing, overall responsiveness to issue is terrible

Our house was delayed multiple times. When they finally turned it over to us it was dirty and had tons of issues. Quality is nowhere to be seen. It's like it was put together haphazardly by amateurs. Pulte keeps reassuring us things will be fixed but workers are either inexperienced or don't even show up or cause other issues. It’s been a challenging, traumatic and draining process. We still can't unpack fully, we can't set up our furniture, we can't have family come over, we can't do much of anything coz we are stuck in this mess of a house waiting for repairs. The build quality and finish is below expectations. I never expected this from pulte and will not recommend friends to buy a home built by them. A new home doesn’t look new it looks like construction team was tried to complete this project asap.

its great The home have alot of space but there are things that is very poor quality. The poor quality are 1. Windows. some windows leaks and creates draft air, call pulte to come look at the issue they said it normal, I am an home owner and fixed houses every now and then so I know when something is wrong, but pulte will not admit it and said air draft from windows are normal, pulte even mention that their windows are mid grade, to me it is the cheapest on the market. Even menards $200 windows are better and doesnt create air draft, they will not fixed the issue so i'll have to dealt with it myself by buying windows insulation to stop the air draft. if it is not stop your heating bill will up the roof. Also, the doors have draft air from the bottom, this will also have to be address by the owner. Last time i check, menards doors have magnet door insulation so when it closed it slap in tight and will not lead air. I have to buy insulation pads from menards to fix it. 2. Cabinets are cheap considering that is it a 600k house, I would preferred all cabinets to have a good craftmanship and at least have soft closed. 3. Wall Paint, pulte used is the cheapest on the market. Just by touching you can feel the cheapness of the paint and when you put your hands on the wall, they are dust and white stuff. also, the house is very dirty and dusty like no one lives there for months. The floor have paint spot and pulte also mention it is normal which i have to clean it. Basement also very dusty on the floor and I did mention this to pulte they said its normal. Why is this normal it is a brand new house. shouldn't it be clean? 4. The wood studs are 24" apart consider that it is a expensive house it should have been 16". Just my opinion . Lastly, the only good thing about the house that actually cost 600k are the appliance and countertop. 5. Interior doors are cheap. it is hollows consider that the house cost 600k should have been solid doors. The price isnt that much difference as I check at menards. I would not be a customer to pulte in the future. ... More

Overall the experience was horrendous from the lack of communication from the sales office to the six different construction managers we had, to the quality of work, and the timeline in which we were guaranteed to close by (which was 9 months off). I would recommend to stay away from this builder overall. The best thing for them was the last construction manager that we got to work with but that eventually got moved to another community. Their lack of professionalism baffles me.

In the end, forced for taking the closing on the same day when city inspection happened. Even the sales team put a fine; not sure why. Minor issues were not resolved despite my reminders. Pulte should improve the process for Closing day after the home completion. Third party home inspector was not given an exact home completion day; he came thrice. Pulte internal Quality process - BTQ- not sure when they did after completion.

The entire Pulte team is organized and responsive.

Was very disappointed with Pulte and the whole experience! Pulte mortgage was a joke, the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. PGP Title was the same and to add very inept and scary to think how many other mortgages are out there with major errors. After 1 month, NO ONE from Pulte has addressed any concerns OR the major screw ups in construction on my home. No one has even attempted to make anything right!!

The overall experience is good. Starting with sales consultant who went beyond and above to make sure everything went well throughout the process. Construction team was good and took care most of our requests. In addition, the customer care team quickly resolved the issues noticed after moving.

Home wasn't completed during the timeframe given, and there was never any communication from Pulte unless I initiated it. Excuses were the norm during the process, and even after I'm still waiting on things to be resolved!

We bought a speck home which was Quick Move In , We bought in September and closed in beginning of December. We didn’t have to choose anything and loved all the finishes, so that made it stress free . Sean, building manager, was very helpful and always available to answer any questions and help us with concerns. A very easy transition for us.

At the beginning of the home buying experience, I asked what makes Pulte a better home than Ryan Homes, M/I, etc. I was told that Pulte is an overall better quality in workmanship, materials, and process. I will say the process was pretty good, but most builders have the same process in place. The workmanship and materials is a different story. The non-structural materials are pretty good as long as you upgrade. The structural materials like drywall, foundation, and exterior landscaping is not good. Way below expectations. And workmanship, besides for a couple trades like tiling was shoddy. I can understand there will be cracks and pops after the house settles, but I do expect walls to be straight, doors to be true, and flooring to be even. Would I rate Pulte above other home builders? Probably not. If I had advice for another buyer, I would say do not pay attention to the builder (unless you’re looking at a high-end, more custom home) because none really seem to care about quality and craftsmanship.l, and that includes Pulte. ...
