Our construction supervisor Jack S. and our sales rep Jeff S. were AMAZING! As first time home buyers they made the entire process seamless! We never felt unease when working with them. They truly went above and beyond to support us throughout the home buying process.

Not sure where to begin, because there is so much to say. First, Pulte does a great job of having decent sales representatives and after that it is a steep decline in all other aspects of the home build. The design consultants are horrible, lazy, rude, and pretty much incapable of doing the basic aspects of their job. We never asked for their design opinion and I'm glad we didn't, because I could only imagine how bad our home would have turned out (probably even more in cost than we already paid as well). All of this is just the beginning of your issues to come. Pulte doesn't really do anything on your house and takes almost zero responsibility throughout any issues that might arise. I thought this was indictive of just us, but after talking to our neighbors they had a similar experience. This will be a problem for you, because they subcontract your whole house and the workmanship is mediocre at best and certainly not worth the amount you will pay. With all of that being said, if you do spend money on expensive upgrades like us, you should know that the choices you make are actually good quality materials, but they won't be well taken care of when storing, or installing. An example if you don't understand that. We have excellent cabinets and quartz countertop selections and upgraded trimwork / baseboards, but they are installed poorly and look absolutely sloppy, thus leaving us to deal with home warranty post home closing. Most homes typically have small things to worry about, but craftsmanship shouldn't be an every house issue. Again, this is in large part due to them subcontracting everything and honestly not giving a crap about you or your home that you overpaid for. Everything above be prepared to encounter, but for us personally this was also one of the worst things that could happen to you. Our first and second of three project managers, we had were absolutely horrible. They consistently left us uninformed on our house progression, and completely missed our build timeline without any justification, which there wouldn't have been one that wasn't either a lie or bogus anyways, but still, a common courtesy or small compensation for Pulte's inability to meet deadlines should be expected. I honestly could go on for days about how much I despise Pulte, and I would never have built a home with them knowing what I do now. I will never again build with them or ever recommend them. ... Pulte develops a nice community with a nice choice of floor plans.

I was surprised at the amount of obvious flaws and poor craftsmanship that we had to continuously point out for repair prior to closing. Bring a level and magnifying glass when doing routine walks or you’ll be stuck with shorty work.

I love the design, very luxurious and spacious. The quality of materials is great. The house was finished in the anticipated time frame. Overall, very happy and would recommend Pulte!

We are first time home buyers and our experience was great. Steve the sales representative from Pulte Homes was very nice, polite and was very informative. When we had a question or problem, Steve always got back to us as soon as possible. We were also pleased with Jeremy who did our walk through in our new home. He did a good job and answered all our questions and fixed what ever we found in our new home right away before we moved in. We were very happy to have him do our walk through. Home quality is very positive for some items like finishes and appliances, but these are offset by poor workmanship. There have been several issues with grout, drywall, paint running marks, trim damage, cracked glass, unfinished stucco, etc. Many issues will be resolved by the owner due to the small scale, but give the price of the home, expectations were much higher in the finished product. It is now clear that the price is entirely market driven and not an indicator of home quality which we have come to accept. Customer Service staff and the site manager have done all they can to help with the issues but they are excessive and the trades cannot be mobilized more than once during the warranty period unless there are safety issues (which have been escalated and are being prioritized for repair). ... The process of obtaining a mortgage was tedious. There was a lot of back and forth . Even asked for a US currency income whenever my husband was recurving a Canadian currency pension. All they have to do was convert it to US but instead called us several times that it has to be in US. After our closing time and we were supposed to move in, our moving truck has to park outside the house because there was something else they have to fix before it will sign off that whatever they fix is ok. We have pay extra time because of the wait. We had 2 moving trucks waiting to unload our stuff. Constructions workers cars/ trucks remained parked in front when the moving trucks are trying to park. They should clear the area when someone is moving ..We weren’t aware too prior to purchase that we will paying for our garbage service separately. We thought it was included in our HOA fee.. ... Smooth process, great people to work with.

Robb provides fantastic customer service and did a great job throughout the sales process. Updates from the field manager were too infrequent (3 emails in 8 months) and we typically had very minimal notice for any of the build quality meetings. The field supervisor provided great customer service during the final stages of the build. Warranty service is quick to respond and schedule trades to repair.

In general, I like the house. But I expected a little more quality for the price I’m paying. But that my just be a product of the current overpriced housing market. Also, some of the workmanship, such as on the doors, the cabinets, and shower, could have been better. My experience with Pulte Mortgage nearly soured the whole experience. I would strongly recommend saving every single correspondence email with Pulte Mortgage in case they accuse you of not replying or if they try to offer you something different from their correspondence. The sales team was amazing. Generally the responsive tone of Pulte is great although I will have to re-submit a request after not hearing back from someone for over a week. All in all, I would at best recommend Pulte to others but with reservation. I would not recommend some of the upgrades we got though. ... More

My experience at the time of buying and after buying isn’t good and didn’t expect this kind of quality work

I recently purchased a townhouse from Pulte Homes and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The process of buying the townhouse was made easy with the help of their dedicated sales team who were always available to answer any questions I had and guide me through the process. The townhouse itself is beautifully designed and built to a high standard. The layout is practical and efficient, and the finishes are of good quality. The community is well-maintained and offers a range of amenities such as a playground, pool and a clubhouse. The location of the townhouse is also great as it is near to grocery stores, restaurants and other amenities. Pulte Homes also offers a great warranty and maintenance program, which gave me peace of mind knowing that any issues that may arise will be addressed promptly. Overall, I am very happy with my decision to purchase a Pulte Homes townhouse and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new home. ... More

Expected better workmanship from Pulte.

Do your research and continue to follow up on the building team. I love my home but some attention to details go over looked during walk through. Nothing alarming but the great thing about pulte is they have a dedicated team to fix any problems with in reason the first year which is extremely useful.

Overall Tyler took care of us and fixed each issue. However the lack of attention to the little details, by the contractors, was annoying. I had to point out multiple small issue. Ex: Thermostat installed crooked. Light at bottom of stairs was installed partially into the stairwell. Floor vent hole cut crooked. Etc, etc…

Purchased a home with this company and honestly nothing but issues. They come and fix but it takes time/only available on weekdays and just an overall pain to deal. They also didn’t march the model home entirely and weren’t very helpful with much after the sale, don’t recommend

The property is great. The community is great. Steve does a great job responding and fixing any issue that comes up and scheduling workers is easy. The sales process is easy and our sales agent Laurel was very communicative. As far as the sales manager, I think he is pathetic and does not return calls and refuses to talk to buyers. 3 times tried to connect with him for big reasons and never returned a call.

All the help and contractors have been friendly, helpful and have done a great job taking care of our repair issues. They have gone above what was expected.

A great house, but a very poor experience the first 4 months. Our salesperson, Robin, did an outstanding job of communicating and seeking for answers. Additionally, Charlie turned our project around and our neighborhood for that matter. He deserves a raise. That being said, a customer shouldn't have to manage a build, which is what this experience turned into. We are currently dealing with a warranty issue due to poor craftsmanship by the tile layers, but all other trades did a quality job. This house is what we expected and what we were sold.

Onsite CM should be able to handle issues in lieu of needing to go to the computer and ask warranty

First of all, my experience with Hector, the construction manager was GREAT! He exemplifies the outstanding customer service and responsiveness of a true professional. My experience went downhill from there. There were (and still are) a dozen items on the punch list that have not been addressed by the customer service team. Quite frankly, the attitude of these customer service facing individuals is very apathetic. They clearly don't care about customer satisfaction. I was told four contractors were scheduled to perform the corrective actions for my punch list. On the scheduled day of repairs, not one of them showed up. I called the customer service person that scheduled the appointments, and he had no idea they hadn't shown up or why not. (A professional customer service person would have confirmed the schedule with the contractors prior to the scheduled date). In speaking with my Pulte neighbors, I'm hearing similar frustrations and complaints. Bottom line is my wife and I like the house and hope Pulte leadership is aware of these types of concerns and takes appropriate action to demonstrate their desire to be a well respected home builder.
