I entered a contingency purchase agreement and within 24 hours the house I chose was shown & offered to another buyer. Luckily my realtor was able to sell my house so I could remove the contingency. The quality of the carpet & flooring is low. There are numerous flaws in the drywall finish and paint (gouges, and rough areas) I requested repairs on 2 particular areas and both were not smoothed or filled. They were merely painted over. I requested assistance with the reprogramming my garage door opener but I was contacted when I was wasn’t available and never received a follow up. It could be worse but it’s not the best either. Better than some other builders.

SUPPORT SYSTEM : The sales agent Gisabel was not that helpful and very seldom reply to queries, which were always delayed and worsened after the closing period. The construction manager Finley did not do the proper walk-through during the initial and final inspections of the property. There were several issues identified within the house that were forwarded to her through the 'pick list'. That list is getting longer as the days pass by because of the slow response by Finley. There were handymen sent to repair and sort out the issues but most were inefficient and needed to return a few more times just to fix one. Whenever we try to text or call Finley, she does not reply in a timely manner, and most of the times she wouldn't. I already escalated this problems to warranty department of PULTE but was advised to liaise with Finley, to no avail. The issues just keep on going in a cycle. It's been over two months now since we moved in but with the way the issues were handled, I am unsure whether these will be sorted out soon. If I have known that these would have been the norm, , I would have not purchased a property with PULTE. It can only be compared to buying a new car, and after the contract was exchanged and the deposit was secured, you are issued a dodgy one instead and the dealer expect the monthly payment to be paid in full. We are still trying to get area in garage painted plus a defective kitchen cabinet replaced and the backyard approved by the HOA. We had to buy a lot of items that were not included in the price of the house like a refrigerator and a washer and dryer also.

Home buying was first for me & Pulte was excellent!

I had a pleasant experience. Mike, Nolan, and Julie were constant professionals. Very responsive, highly engaged. Answered my questions, and held my hand through this process.

I have been waiting 7 weeks for repairs to be completed. Broken cabinets were installed. Sloppy paint work. Drywallers dry walled over 2 WAP outlets, 1 electrical outlet, 1 surround sound outlet and a kitchen recessed light. The doorbell stucco looks bad, because it was broken to find the doorbell. The repair work is sloppy and obvious. The house was full of sawdust, and not clean. The tile was dirty. Grout is breaking on edges. A private inspection revealed we have loose parts on the roof and extra tiles just left behind on the roof. That’s a safety issue. The insulation was substituted with fiberglass. We were told it would be cellulose. Your website mentions cellulose insulation. The insulation was completed in August or September, but we were notified after signing. We were packed and on our way when I received the email. One reason we bought this house is for the borate cellulose insulation. We want pulte to replace the insulation. Pulte didn’t notify us to give us an option to not sign the closing papers. We signed with the information that borate insulation would be installed. Also, why are they repairing broken cabinets on a new house? It’s new! We paid almost 100k over the price of the house down the street. The house next door was reduced by 100k. Pulte told us they were helping us by reducing the price to 739. Other same model homes have more upgrades, and are 645k, 713k, 709k, 724k, We were going to lose our deposit if we didn’t pay 739k. Our shaker cabinets do not have pulls. We have to kneel down to open lower cabinets, so we can open upper drawers. Really? Pulte couldn’t add cabinet pulls? During construction, I was notified that Pulte was changing cabinet vendors and the color of cabinet I initially chose would no longer be offered. I asked questions to the construction manager and salesperson to see if I could still get the color we picked from the original vendors at all, and if so, how long that delay would be. I didn't receive direct answers or updates on the situation for about two weeks. During that time, a new color was selected, installed in the home, then subsequently ripped out, then the original cabinets were ordered, but would cause a 3 week delay in closing. All of these decisions were made without my knowledge or approval. I finally demanded a zoom meeting with everyone where I was finally made aware of the situation. Had I known that the new vendor cabinets were already installed, and how much the estimated delay would have been, my decision to keep the initial cabinets installed may have been different. I think the salesperson and construction manager could have improved their communication throughout the construction process to allow me to make more informed decisions on my home. ... More

good communication...very knowledgeable....and Professional

Bying a home with Pulte is fine however avoid using Pulte mortgage at all costs! Dealing with them is an absolute nightmare!

Overall experience is great, price is too high. I have great communication with construction managers. They are very responsive. Love the layout but the workmanship is mediocre but everything is fixed upon request.

Despite some early headaches in the build process, we are ultimately happy with our new home.

Great home and Great Team

We've owned two other brand new homes and this by far is the best. The attention to detail and the involvement of the home owner in the construction process is second to none. Both the agent, Marilyn, and the construction manager, Shawn, are very customer focused, very easy to talk to. Almost hate to see the neighborhood finished and the two of them moving on.

Tim was at all my walk throughs. He wrote things down, followed up with us, and is taking care of things. He is still in the neighborhood as other homes are still being built. He's approachable and friendly, so I know I can ask him anything. I would highly recommend this team.

Scott and Harmony made my buying experience wonderful. I was considering on choosing a different builder but those two going above and beyond to ensure my situation was as important to them is the reason I purchased with Pulte. I also want to acknowledge Ryan from finance. He ensured I understood everything

Post-sales service is just as good as pre-sales service. That’s unique in my experience.

Easy to work with and lots of options to choose

Very pleasant experience. Everyone conducted them selfs with curtesy & great professionalism We will definitely like to purchase another home in the future with Pulte .

The experience as a whole seemed fine up until the end. My wife and I felt the closing process was rushed. There were many items that weren’t resolved at closing and the warranty department has not been very responsive. We were told over and over that we wouldn’t be forgotten about but that’s not the way things have played out. Our construction manager was great but unfortunately, he wasn’t the one performing the work on our home. The quality of the workmanship isn’t to the level that we expected it to be. It’s very clear the contractors did not pay close attention to the details. Lots of uneven walls and wavy corners. I was not happy with the fact that Pulte used drywall clips. We found several instances where things were covered up by the contractors. Examples: crack in window track which caused water damage to the drywall, broken kitchen cabinet installed underneath quartz countertop that can’t be replaced or repaired.
