Pulte Group sells under multiple names - at least five other than Pulte Homes. We bought a spec home that was already under construction. Consequently, we were able to modify some attributes of the home, but not others as they basically assemble a "package" for the construction of each home. The salesman was very helpful in securing some of the modifications we desired, but he was unable to achieve others such as upgraded kitchen appliances and changing tub/showers to showers. We did not fully understand these two issues as the house was at the stud level and up-charges were not an issue. The Project Manager was most informative and accommodating starting with the initial walk-through issues until it was time for the warranty group to take over about two months later after closing. Some of the building materials could only be described as "cheap" such as stair hand rails and other woodwork. Some of the workmanship was also subpar. Please be aware that our home was being built during supply chain disruptions and the trades workforce was unreliable. At least three different builders were in our neighborhood and we understand that the trade subcontractors regularly rotated between the builders. These two items greatly affected their product. ... It was a nightmare with Pulte. They never gave clear timelines. Huge mismanagement. No proper planning. Delays on everything. Now seeing at other friends houses from a different builder I see how bad Pulte’s work is.

If you’re looking for just buying home with minimal requirements its a good place not the BEST

This is the second new home I’ve built, the first being with Toll Brothers. Unfortunately my experience with Pulte has been the polar opposite of Toll, and not in a good way. Countless delays, sloppiness in workmanship, post closing issues including paint, electrical and landscaping to name a few. Overall I love the house and community, however, the level of detail throughout the home has left A LOT to be desired considering the price we paid. My expectation was higher.

My review comment is little less because of the below reasons. I am open to have a discussion if my comments are not valid 1. This house planned closing date was mid of Aug 2022 but closed on 28th Oct 2022. 2. Few issues were notified during the house construction and most of them are fixed and few of them are not fixed with no ETA (find the below detail) a. Celling painting issue – 2 places need touchup – Not Fixed b. Garage door opener fixed before drywall and now it’s showing big gap in all the holding clamps – Not Fixed c. Bedroom window lip broken – Not Fixed d. House Sliding repair – Not Fixed e. Cabinet – Fake drawer front fix – common bathroom f. Kitchen Cabinet broken – Not Fixed g. In the basement, washer dryer excess water outlet pipe is showing in the middle of the basement in a slanted and hanging way – Not Fixed h. In the basement window the outside well cover is not fixed but they have put grass seeds – Partially fixed i. In the master bedroom the wooden floor was bent – Fixed but I am not satisfied for the fix - open for discussion for the fix provided 3. Water leaking from the Furnace – Reported to construction manager, he said it will stop automatically. After that I raised service request once person came and checked. He made more water leakage from furnace. Daily 2 times I am collecting water and pour into sump. Appointment scheduled for 13th Dec 2022. 4. When I am raising service request, supporting team requesting me to contact the vendor directly. Not sure why they are asking like that. 5. Basement cleaning was not good. 6. After getting the house key from the closing office, I came to home to open the door, the door was open not even closed. 7. Unable to track the service request – how to check the status for the service request 8. Product cost is vert high, Simple example garage door opener, you guys charged $730 but the actual price less than $200 (even it’s not fixed properly, mentioned above) Personally, I do not have issues with anyone. Took too long to build and craftsmanship was subpar

We were off to a great start with sales consultant, she was amazing helping us through the process. Our construction manager was super busy dealing with all the delays due to covid so getting ahold of him was difficult at times, but he always calmed our concerns, whatever they were. And when it came time to closing, our house had little issues here and there but over all went very smoothly. We love our forever home and Pulte did a fantastic job!

John, Cody, and the crew were wonderful to work with start to finish.

After the sale the representatives were of no usefulness

The house is nice can be better, quality in finish inside baths and kitchen is poor Painting is poor quality

From the start to finish Pulte dragged us along. We had essentially 3 different closing dates and each time we tried to close there were significant problems with the townhome. The quality of the home is very poor compared to the pricing of the townhomes. They clearly rushed through the build and placed cheap hardware / fixtures inside. The construction team communicated horribly. Sales team consultant was the only one who gave us honest answers. I would not recommend Pulte to anyone and I will never use them again.

I'm not going in to detail, but it was average at best. The time to build the home was absurd. I also find it humorous that you have a link to help me write a "great review". Wow.

Overall, this is the best home that I ever owned. I had three and this makes 4. And its the last. Everything about the house is a dream come through. From day 1 to 9 months later. Great workmanship, build. and style. This is the house for me.

Worst home buying experience EVER! Pulte is NOT what they used to be 15-20 years ago. There's no care for the home buyer at all. I had a Pulte home built back around 2000 and it was a quality product. My new construction home was thrown up as fast as possible with no care to quality. If I had it to do over, I would have kept looking...

The staff that we encountered were amongst the best however, there were a few issues. Closed on the home two months after the projected closing date during the time of contract signing, putting my family in an uncomfortable position without compensation. Múltiple work orders needed within the first week of closing on the home. Still awaiting replacement of a damaged cabinet during installation. Other than these minor issues, very good experience.

This is a well built home. The design is to our liking and met what we were looking for in a home. This was a long journey but worth the wait ! Everyone was great throughout this process !

Big daddy Ed was our rep for the building process in Columbia a station and his communication and responsiveness and professionalism was second to none.. he addressed everything we asked about and never made us feel unintelligent in any way.

Be very careful when it comes to the Contract Details. Many Items are shown in the renderings you need to sign as part of your Contract and later in the Contract Paragraphs Details declared as optional not necessarily in your Home installed. Always per advantage PULTE.

I have to say that my experience with Pulte overall was below average. My home was delayed and at the end of the process Pulte rushed to finish my home. The rush to finish resulted in poor craftsmanship and minor damage all throughout the home. We hope that at the conclusion of our first year that Pulte makes good on their promise of our “dream home” experience.

I don't think the quality matches the price paid. No towel rings or bars in bathrooms. Have to buy the refrigerator. Other appliances not that great. Garage interior not painted . After closing very slow response to questions and concerns!!!

Adam C and Elli were awesome to work with, I want them involved in every house I buy in the future!

Should fix few issues faster

This experience was one of the most stressful events I’ve ever gone through. Not knowing when the house would be competed, not knowing what kind of lease to sign for a temporary rental, and not to mention the enormous loss of money we had to pay for a month to month rental.

Hard to get a hold of and have someone take accountability for workmanship after closing. People are not responsive.
