The workmanship on the condo that I purchased really are disappointing. Especially details in painting, the line between two tones, some basic standard and guideline of clear and clean cutline between areas, with tape for instance, were not followed. Every time I look at the those mess area and lines, I couldn't help believing that if an ammeter like me could do a better job.

We have had nothing but problems since we took the keys to this house. If I had it to do over, I would never get involved with Pulte again.

Easy closing of the house

I was very disappointed in the sloppiness during the construction process with paint and drywall materials found on many finishes and resulted in the need for steam cleaning. There seemed to be a rush to complete the home which was behind scheduled and definitely a trade off between quality and speed. The CM seems over stretched and able to focus as there were too many houses to manage. Overall it was a very average experience and so far a very below average experience with after closing service for issues requested in Pulte Owner's Entry portal.

The Pulte sales team fails to admit and take responsibility for any wrong doings or mistakes that they've made. They will attempt to sweep their mistakes under the rug and fail to communicate their errors or find a solution. You will have to contact them many times in order to receive a response. However, Dustin, the construction manager, is great to work with! He spends quality time reviewing the construction process during each step of the home building process!

I am not going to bore you with the minutia of my experience. We had over 35 items on our closeout punch list. I work in the construction field and the quality largely depends on the lottery of subcontractors you get for the house. At any point in time the Construction manager has up to 20 homes to keep track of. It felt like because we had committed to the house that you would not get the attention to get your home fixed. Alec is my CM and he means well. Having trouble with sub availability. I feel bad that pulte doesn’t offer him any help so these homes, which are very expensive, have the proper supervision to address the quality issues. ... More

Austin and Traci were awesome representatives of the Pulte company. Explanations were offered and they returned my phone calls and texts instantly. I would recommend Austin to other potential buyers because his communication skills are so good and it was wonderful when he called me with construction updates.

Closing date was moved two different occasions. July 21 to August 28 and then to September 28. Issues that were brought to light weeks before closing have still not been addressed or resolved. Customer care only sends emails, no phone correspondence.

Superintendent was great. The subs ran the schedule. I was a general contractor for 48 years. The subs did what I wanted and when I wanted it done, not the other way around. It should not have taken 7 months to frame a 1756 sq. ft. house on a slab. House should have been done 3 months sooner.

My experience with Pulte was less than pleasureable as a 1st time homebuyer. In the beginning my sales agent offered and sold me upgrades & options that were not available for my model. My Pulte sales agent changed and my new agent was rude and basically threatened to cancel my contract, after I questioned changes. They made multiple changes to my options and did provide me any new choices and basically "I have no choice but sign change order or he could just give me earnesr money back, and sell my home to someone else for more money." The rep at the design center was snarky and repeatedily made insensitive remarks about my purchase. My 1st contruction manager never made contact and I was never given the opportunity to do any review or walkthrough of my property until drywall walk. Calls were ignored and emails leave unresponded to. Pulte mortgage was even worse when came to communication and failed to advise that I could have locked my rate way sooner. It took my realtor and myself chasing them down when rates increased to get a lock completed (which us costing me greatly). I will say that after filing a complaint with corporate I was given yet another agent name John. John above and beyond to try to make my situation right and keep me from walking away from this deal after 10 months of a building process. Also I received a new construction/site manager named Joey M. Joey is absolutely AMAZING. He works with integrity and went above and beyond to ensure my home was done with the highest standard. Joey continues to work to ensure all the items that were to be completed for close walkthrough are being done. I am 2 months after close and still dealing with issues, but have confidence that Joey will get the job done. My experience with Pulte made loving my new home difficult at first... and I nearly cancelled and walked away from thousands of dollars because it was so bad. However, thanks to both John & Joey showing they cared and my concerns were valid I moved forward. I am learning to love my home and hopeful that the issues will be resolved soon and that Pulte will learn to do better business and hire people with kindness and integrity. Purchasing a home is most peoples largesr lifetime purchase, and many people like me work hard and have saved and sacrificed for this opportunity. We all deserve to be treated fairly and respect at all times, but even moreso through a process suchas buying a home. Our new home was built to a very poor level of quality. It looks like they used bargain bin/defective sheetrock and trim throughout. Cheapest possible appliances, carpet, cabinets, and paint. Wish I had gone with a different builder.

Our experience began with Kelley who was nothing short of fabulous. Whenever we had a question or concern, she was on top of it. Likewise, our construction manager, Tim, was helpful with all adjustments and questions. Our home came out wonderfully. The workmanship and attention to detail is evident and we're excited to have family and friends visit to see our new home.

This company doesn’t care about the quality of their product. Everything is sub-par, including the actions of much of the staff. You’ll close with a laundry list of incomplete items.

This is my second Pulte home and I was very happy with my first. This was new construction. I've been in the house for about 60 days and it's been a not-so-great experience. Closing was delayed multiple times due to delayed materials or unavailable trades. The builder did not verify the options I paid for so, for example, failed to paint the walls in the color I picked out. There have been multiple issues that I'm still working through in the warranty process, but should have been caught by Pulte staff prior to closing (concrete damage, shoddy tiling, full backsplash replacement, sliding glass door needing major repair or replacement, cabinets warped, etc.). First, I believe this is a reputable builder nationally; however, my experience in San Antonio was awful. 1 out of 5 based on the following: The builder represented the house was ready. I sent my inspection crew as a result. The house in fact was nowhere near ready. A day later the builder wanted to close on the house and insisted on keeping the closing date, while ignoring the facts. Then, during the last day before close, they increased the closing amount by $1500 to move more HOA funding fees to my column that even the title company showed them Pulte was obligated to pay on their end. The builder was unrelenting and ignored title and ignored my inspection company and closed the transaction on the date they chose. Because the house wasn't truly ready, the builder then spent the following week supposedly finishing the home. We then moved in two weeks later and found immediately that there was a large gas leak, and a significant water leak under the kitchen sink. Furthermore, the cabinets were damaged. We are now 3 months into our move and are still waiting for cabinets to be repaired. Many of the things the builder promised "if we close on time" have been ignored, such as the paint which didn't come through. I had to hire my own painter and purchase my own paint to complete the house. I would not buy from Pulte again. ... More

Overall great experience working with Dylan and Ashlea. Would’ve been all five stars except for one issue the day of closing that took too long to correct. House prices are too high, but that’s not Pulte’s fault.

I say I had a decent experience throughout the process the only thing is they rushed towards the end to meet the closing date and too many out standing issues. Lawn has been hastily layed and having drainage issues and majority of the lawn has to be replaced

Daniel and Morten made the potentially stressful experience of building a home very pleasant and exciting and we were thrilled throughout the whole process to be able to work with them and see the process of the home.

It has been a very nice experience so far living in my home. everything looks and feel great in the home except for the Buzzing sound from the outside freeway. I am a very light sleeper I hear everything. Maybe because of the large beautiful windows, I can hear the noise. Insulation is great for cool and heat but not as good for noise... but again it might just be me.

We love our Pulte home and the neighborhood, this is our 3rd Pulte home and 2nd here in Glenmore. Things don’t always go as expected in any construction process. There are plenty of great people at Pulte and here in this Glenmore community that do want the home to be built well and for you to be happy with everything.

No complaints other than the rate hikes

This is our second Pulte home, we were very pleased back then with Pulte and the experience repeated itself with our current home
