What to write, come home and get the experience ...

AC, electricity, and gas work well overall. Light in the living room was not blocked for ceiling fan, like the specs indicated. A work order has been put in. Drainage pipe for the washing machine hookup did not have a cap, leading to water leakage into the garage. Builder grade carpet and paint lead to sub-optimal quality. Overall, happy with the responsiveness of Pulte warranty, and glad we were able to close without running into further delays.

Unsure if all builders are the same but Pulte does not share plans and designs and quality is lacking so, be ready for surprises and oopsies. The irrigation system zones are set up in a way that does not make sense, the sod was set on top of rocks, weed and construction debris. The yard is dramatically uneven. The floor tile is not flat and the wall tile on the backsplash and the showers is worse. It is difficult to trust the brand and when they don't share tests for energy star compliance, blue prints and other plans like the irrigation system layout makes me wonder if they don't share so we as owners have it more difficult to check the quality of their work. ... Same staff are not completely finished,

I am not satisfied with my new home. I paid more than half a million dollars for such poor quality. The cheapest paint was used, one closet has been repaired and I just submitted photos for a second closet. The kitchen faucet has to be replaced, and the arch leaving the master bedroom leading into the master bathroom is crooked. The casing broke off of the main bathroom door. How did you not level that off. I just bought this home 8/22. Every day I look to see what is going to break next.

We were lucky enough to get a great salesperson to start the process! Gina was amazing! She helped guide us through the whole process, answered our questions, and the result was a home we enjoy! The design center experience was wonderful. Pulte kept us informed the entire time during the building process and we closed in a timely manner. Look forward to many happy years in our new home!

The finishing of the inside doors and the dry wall in the corners is very bad. (Very sloppy, not good quality workmanship. Obviously whoever did it didn’t take pride in their work.

Great Sales Personal and Mortgage people Construction crew chief was vey good ,, quality workmanship on house----well not so great ..... The personal building appear to less then qualified and in a hurry to get work done alot of simple quality features missed... trying to get things corrected good luck see ya in a the next lifetime.... after you close---your almost on your own

We bought a house with Pulte, and we had 2 separate field managers, initially, there was an error in the construction of the house, the height of one of the rooms was not at the designated height, it was caught later on and work had advanced so the room was not fixed, it was left as is, the quality of work inside is not the best, in the ceiling the where two sheets of sheetrock adjoin its easy to tell because the ceiling dips down, it is easily seen throughout the whole house, the paint is the lowest quality, we touch the wall and they are immediately stained, there were several issues that were brought up before closing and 2.5 months after closing we are still waiting for them to be addressed. the sodding of the yard in the back was done in a sloppy manner, there are gaps between sodding lines which will need to be filled in to prevent an uneven lawn. ... Good and building process is good

I was extremely disappointed in the workmanship of the house, I question why there is clearly NOT a final checklist that someone reviews before a part of the house is ready. The garage floor is scratched all over and has holes in the cement, holes in the wall, the wrong paint on parts of the wall, glue all over the frosted windows, screws not screwed into the wall in the closet, chipped shower glass door, they never created the shower niche in the shower, and when i moved in the rug all over the stairs was dirty. The bottom line is that the workmanship was extremely shabby and often careless. NOT what I expected. ... More

Pulte Homes , Project manager Joe goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect before getting into your dream home. He was very attentive and very knowledgeable to answer all questions even after moving in. He made me and my family feel like family.

The good: The warranty team led by John and the last construction manager Mauricio (our construction manager changed 4 times) are good and responsible people. The bad: Almost everything else. Cheap material, poor build quality, irresponsible construction site maintenance. Pulte seemed to have hired some of the most irresponsible contractors, and used the lowest quality material for items like windows, gates, trim pieces, or anything that has no upgrade option. Attention to detail is non-existent. As homeowners, both my family and some neighbors I talked with can clearly feel that Pulte does not care about the living standard of home buyers. The construction site is very dirty and littered with trash, too. ... More

I find my self very saddened to even have to write this, however this build is one of three for my family and by far the worse experience I’ve had with Pulte Builders. First it 14 months to build and close but that’s a story for a later date that I’m willing to share when or if asked. Now that we’ve been in the home for two months which we can’t use the bathtub, the window blinds don’t operate properly, closet doors slam when used, the floors won’t come clean no matter what, they continue to look very strange. A eight foot office door will not latch. The list continues. My main concern is the employee at the warranty center are very rude and work against us the homeowner. In the past I had no problem giving Pulte very high marks as a builder however that has changed. I just don’t understand how or why the service after the sale has failed. At this very difficult time I wrap my head around what’s happened to a company like Pulte. ... More

Great home and very pleased

Some of the products are not of high quality, such as the paint and hardwood floors. There are some slight dents in the cabinets as well. The ComEd service cannot be switched to my account, and I have to track it with a Comed representative for days to get it resolved. Normally, the builder should talk to Comed first to provide all the meter details and everything else setup before I call them for my account activation

From start to finish the team was awesome and we love the house

The employees are absolutely great! The whole buying experience was a pleasure.
