I have mixed feelings about the entire experience buying a Pulte home in Alva Florida. At the very beginning a year from the time we moved in, everything seemed pretty smooth and we selected a lot that would work very well for us. Pulte does a good job at sales and financing. The house was well built, but follow up on open items after closing is terrible. We closed six weeks ago and were told that landscaping and grass would be done quickly. So far nothing has been done, and we can't even get a expected timeframe. For other issues (doors, drywall, etc.) we were referred to warranty (Customer service). they don't even return voicemail messages. the one item they sent somebody out to fix (door) is now worse than before they fixed it. Still many issues not resolved after moving in.

I had many issues still not resolved. My shower door has gaps that allow water to come outside of the shower. They gave me a rusted water heater. Tiles were chipped and grouting not completed. A screen door on the patio was never installed. Stove keeps going out. I think the experience would be better if these issues were resolved before we moved in.

We have been closed and in our home for almost 50 days and have yet to receive shower glass and missing a grate in our room housing our AHU. We were originally told it will take 25 days to receive the glass and have received no real update. We have no idea when we will receive this glass. We were under the assumption when buying a new build home, that home would be complete.

Our construction manager did a 2hr blue tape walk through with us and did not address the issues we highlighted before closing. We visited the house a week after walk through (2 days before closing) and noticed all the areas still untouched. When we brought it up to him he said he'd take care it before our closing. When we arrived to the house on our closing day, nothing was addressed and the house was still dirty from the construction. My new home has had nothing but very major issues since moving in. AC leak resulting in restoration, no hot water, bath tub leak, no electric in several rooms not to mention all the cosmetic issues. The workmanship of my house is disappointing at best. I will NEVER build with pulte again.

The sales and financial experience with Pulte is awful! Starting from the purchase: we designed our home without knowing about other houses that fit our lifestyle better. Since moving in; we have heard nothing from our sales representative. The design center has no idea how to assist a new buyer. They are supposedly design consultants .. not sure where the consulting comes from. Do your research. They won’t help! Purchase a $700k home means nothing. Pulte finance .. do not use. Awful!! They are misleading and do not care about you as a buyer. The house .. however .. beautiful!

I recently moved into my Pulte Townhome. For the price I paid I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the workmanship. Pulte is more concerned about putting up homes quickly rather than the quality of the home. Here are just some examples- 2 bedrooms wired wrong tripping breaker, tacks not nailed down in carpeted areas hence pricking bottom of feet when walking on, garage door broke after 2 wks Bc it was installed improperly, sloppy trim work, worst painting job I’ve ever seen where painter totally missed doors and trim and on trim painted over drywall dust and bits of dry mudding instead ...

Working with the Lending Company was difficult at best. They continued to ask for information that had been requested more than once. Getting service for issues is very dependent on the vendor being used. Sometimes it is 7 to 10 days and other times it is 7 to 10 weeks. NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR A NEW HOME.

Bought home in Santa Rita Ranch. Home building process was delayed initially due to no traders availability. Framing was not done properly but corrected upon inspection report. If I hadn’t done inspection I would have gotten bowed studs in many places. Plumbing placement was done improperly and close to wall which was corrected after inspection report done at the final stage. Again this could have missed if I didn’t do inspection. There were definitely quality issues compared to Pulte standards. How ever I am giving 4 star reviews because of my construction manager Steven. He did terrific job ...

House quality and workmanship is excellent but several major unresolved issues at closing that were not addressed at all and instead passed around to the warranty department. Warranty department is overwhelmed with the volume of issues and goes completely unresponsive for weeks at a time. Having to requesting repairs and follow up countless times is incredibly frustrating, especially when you should never had to deal with in first place. Besides, dealing with multiple repair personnel showing up at random times makes things worse. Cannot believe I spent over half a million dollars for this ...

I do love the Condo , but I see where they left walls unfinished and my front door you can see outside light. They said they would contact for a punch list after being at the condo for a while. I am sure they will fix any issues.The appliances are great quality. It is quiet and I love being in the back and looking at the trees. The only draw back is no sunlight comes in to the condo so it is always dark.

Aside from a slow start out of the gate and delays due to materials, we have been very satisfied. From Mario our responsive salesperson to Adam our amazing construction site manager and the Pulte customer service people we have spoken with since moving in, this has been a very good experience. Overall good process but elongated by Covid delays in materials. Home build is mostly fine but we are finding some sub par workmanship in areas and obviously things done quickly and not to highest quality. I personally had to chase things up myself and noticed things not done which the construction manager didn’t notice. A number of cosmetic issues after close which took quite some time to fix. Nice team and friendly but overall some poor finishing details.
