This was our third Pulte home as we moved from Illinois to Arizona. During the overall process, we had a good experience with our Construction manager Tony and the construction of our new home. He kept us in the loop and updated us and fixed issues as they came up. The house was finished three months early (which would normally be a great thing) however, based on our situation was not fantastic because we had a less than optimal experience with the Pulte mortgage side of things. Good, Could Have Been Better

Overall, I love my home! The buying process was extremely positive and straightforward. The home was completed on time, however, on closing there were items that still needed to be addressed in the home, a post construction clean was not performed so there was dust everywhere, and there are several areas of sloppy rushed work that should have been addressed prior to closing.

The process was decent considering some horror stories I have heard about builders. We had 3 different construction managers during the process which was frustrating, but our third and final one, Justin, was awesome. We wish we had him the entire time. Overall we are very happy with the house and have had great response time from our warranty claims.

There was confusing with the type of loan we actually qualified for and this made the process long and lead to a couple of times of no communication from Pulte and frustration and confusion. Ty (sales consultant), Eren (loan consultant) and Matthew (construction manager) were an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only did each of them offer incredible customer service and dedication to their jobs, but they made me feel like I was important and that they wanted the absolute best for my family and me. The good: most everything was well coordinated for our build and move in. The builder reps and staff were very helpful and willing to correct any issues we had. There were a few issues - our microwave did not work correctly when installed and it took longer than expected to get a replacement. The circulation fan was recently found to not be running and the thermostat is not working correctly. The Briargate staff is helpful but had some glitches as mentioned with appliance/ equipment manufacturers/ contractor work as just mentioned.

Only minor issues as we settle in. One thing of note is the poor quality sod that was used. Full of many kinds of broadleaf weeds.

Everything pretty until after deilvery

My experience with everyone was fantastic before my house was delivered. Once it was delivered, all the issues started to come out (normal for a new house) the problem is now that I have to chase people to fix them instead of the builder interest on fixing was was reported as wrong.

During the construction process, I felt that I was helped along by some of the staff like Kay and Tony. They helped me understand the decision-making points along the way. However, at the end of the cycle, I felt a bit rushed to walk-thru and review so many things - especially when it came to the "how to use" part of that final week. It turned out to be somewhat overwhelming.

Every step is clearly defined, which helps buyers feel confident and informed throughout the journey, though the quality of materials and construction focus only on meeting the basic "code" requirements. From a construction standpoint, these standards represent the bare minimum necessary for compliance, rather than a particularly high standard of quality or craftsmanship.

My only complaint is that the model had a cove ceiling and a bay window. Nothing was said that those would be extras if I wanted them. And yes I would but when my home was built no cove ceiling and no bay window only to find out I had to specify that I wanted them. They were never mentioned in the upgrade section. I feel a little put out by that.

I had a wonderful Pulte broker helping me. The lender was good and helpful. The aftercare is not so great. It would be wonderful if someone could come in and go over things with me. The hot water isn't working properly, the gas hob is burning so high it burns everything. Some of the manuals were missing for certain items like the hot water tank. Apart from that I love the house.

We loved that we were included in all the process of the build. Excellent communication with our builder. Our sales rep was not as helpful but after communicating with management this improved some Make site you know the covenants prior to purchasing a lot and don’t expect any leeway with input in the landscaping despite offering to pay for things yourself.
