During the building process, communication was inconsistent with our project manager. We would have to bring up items several times before they were corrected, and some were not corrected. The last week of building was chaos and items were still being completed the day of closing. I know it is difficult to find quality sub-contractors and that is the biggest complaint. Detail work is poor. Each sub that would come in would damage something the previous sub did and we have a lot of bumps and bruises that are still not fixed after being in the house for more than a month. Lack of communication by builder of progress from contract signing to close. Builder was unresponsive to issues pointed out by homeowner during review processes. At the time of final walkthru, the home was not move-in ready and there were many issues identified by homeowner and recognized by builder. Quality of workmanship is very poor, sloppy, and missing many items from the contract/plans by builder and contractors hired by builder. Only a few of the items missing were due to supply chain issues and were explained by builder to homeowner.

The sales team did their part and got me everything I wanted in the new home, but that’s where the positive experience ended. After closing expect little support, your loan to be sold, and for them to pull your credit again. My loan was transferred to M&T within two month and when Pulte no longer serviced my loan they pulled my credit again. When I asked them about it, they said it was for an audit and I gave them the authorization during closing. This was a lie. Let's start with closing... Closing on our new build was originally 30 June. When going through a walkthrough (blue tape), there were a lot of issues that needed fixing. Building Manager pushed it out 2 weeks to get everything A-OK. Come Wednesday July 13, repairs were being made but still needed to have some things fixed. Building manager said that these repairs would be completed "for sure by Thursday". Pulte title company needed funds transferred 1 day prior to closing to expedite the paperwork which will occur 15 July. So 14 July I wire transferred the amount to close to Pulte Title, then ...

Building a home with Pulte was one of the worst experiences of our life. We had previously built two homes with smaller builders and had a positive experience with both. The other builders made every effort to meet our needs, with Pulte it was take it or leave it. We met with the Design Center and after making our selections were later told our wood flooring, wall tile and countertops were not available no effort would be made to provide them. Everything was good up until our walk through. Tyler our CM deceived us and withheld information on our AC unit. For the first month of owning our new home we were without AC (family of 6) for 2 weeks out of 4 weeks. Had 5 total technicians come and give different reasons for not working. The sod was dead and has yet to be replaced, we had no ethernet outlets that we paid for and are still dealing with that issue. No screens on any of the windows, and multiple electrical issues. Don't BUY!!!! Very poor quality and they don't care. They promise the world and nothing but problems. Still waiting for things to get fixed.....no follow up on anything. I upgraded everything and the upgrades are cheap!!!!!! I can't imagine how cheap the standard items are. NOT WORTH THE COST AT ALL!!!!!!!!!

Buying the house and the construction period was great. The people I worked with (Jake and Charlee) were very responsive and checked in after closing. The after purchase team is the opposite. The emergency line take messages and has a stated 3 day response time.

During the build process everyone was easy to work with and responsive. Then we moved in and things changed. Leaky pipes, broken supply vents, missing vent for the over the stove microwave are all things that should have been right before closing but weren't. Now, the construction crew ignores us. We're told to contact the warranty department, who tells us it will be taken care of but nothing happens. The items needing fixing are small, but the hassle of getting them fixed are very annoying. Pulte is clearly a quantity, not quality type company. Our home in Wild Blue was a JOKE. Justin forced us to close without mirrors or glass in the bathrooms. The entire house is full of nicks in the walls, unfinished trim work, paint on everything (not just the walls). It is the epitome of sloppy. Getting someone to care once you’ve closed - nearly impossible, unless you make your way up the chain to superiors. The builder is responsive. However, he does not follow through with his promises. We always had to remind him to take care of small issues. The craftmanship is very bad. It is a $550,000 home but feels like a $200K home. I would not recommend anyone to buy any home from Pulte. Huge regret.

Overall experience during the buying portion was really great with all the support of the purchase office particularly Arturo and loan process with Brent. Although there are few issues with the build, with some minor issues particularly missing bathroom door and island repair which cause a little delay on issuing house keys and finding electrical problem, and on countertop, after the turnover. Other than that, we are very satisfied.

None of the tiles are levelled- Pulte says this is normal. None of my furniture stay levelled. Walls are not laid straight. Doors does not latch properly, painting not uniform, drywall already having cracks, walls already shaking after one month of closing. There are 30+ issues. Builders just want to close before all proper quality checks are done and forget about it. Field Manager is always in rush to go through inspections with you.
