Delays, delays and more delays only to point figures and trade/subs versus taking ownership and producing the quality product Pulte in known for. Just way to many poor workmanship and quality issues versus quality of work seen in other Pulte developments. I have had to send multiple emails/texts concerning items to be fixed before getting an acknowledgment or response, there are some items Pulte has yet to respond to. I understand some things are not quick fixes, but some indication my concerns were heard and are being considered would be nice. We like our new townhome and most of the workmanship is very good. Still, some small glitches are obviously covered over with a little elbow grease and paint. At the right light angle that becomes too obvious. However, I am thrilled with the most of it. Just be aware. Your choices session is WAY too short and pushed>

I am happy about the plan. But, Quality of workmanship & materials can be improved. I would expect it should be high grade as a national level builder. The wood on the floor has squeaking sounds and it is not flat around the floor. The construction manager says" no home is perfect" before you signs the home closing.

Pulte group has been great! The friendly team has always been reachable and responsive throughout our journey with them. Since they have all the sister-companies to take care of all the concerns of home-buying needs such as Title, insurance, etc. The warranty support and maintenance has been great so far. There were some delays due to COVID-19, Supply shortage, labor shortage, etc. However. Pulte kept us updated on what to expect.

The process to build completion was fraught with frustrations. The Pulte mortgage process was awful - responsiveness was almost zero and had to constantly follow-up and track down the person assigned to my closing. The individual has a permanent out of office set so you cannot reach them. The Pulte construction manager is a negative rating on a scale of 0-10. Responsiveness is non-existent. I was not informed of a supply chain issue with my cabinets. Overall experience was terrible. It starts with Sales doing a poor job helping you through the many options. Then it continues with promises from both Sales and the Construction making promises that are never kept. The contracts are written to steer you to use Pulte Mortgage, who is non-responsive unless they want something. Communication is very poor throughout the process. Then to top it off, when you finally get to the ‘Celebration’ phase of the process, the quality of the house they built is not very good. The construction side for the most part went great however the contract/sales side was a total nightmare. We gave our sales rep our check for our earnest money for our lot in November 2021 and despite being told we would have our contract in a week we didn’t get it until March 2022. We asked weekly when we would get our contract and it wasn’t until my husband went to corporate directly we finally got one. The amount of mistakes that had to be redone and corrected was astronomical. It was the norm for things to get done two or three times before they were done in an acceptable manner. And even this wouldn't have happened without us insisting. We noticed workers of all ages and even children and woman doing work. No wonder the exterior paint was a mess, and sloppy work observed. There were quite a few issues with the house from day one. We now have a timeline for fixing most issues, but it has taken a month to get movement on some issues. The most critical issues (toilets backed up, shower not draining and water pouring into porch) we’re corrected in a timely manner. We are still awaiting our wine fridge. It does not appear that a great deal of attention to detail was provided by the tradespeople. We do love our home and look forward to enjoying it once the issues are corrected.

The overall buying experience was great. Working with Pulte Mortgage and insurance was easy. Being out-of-state made it difficult to take care of any issues prior to closing. I had two virtual walk throughs but you can’t catch hidden flaws that you normally would catch in person. Trying to get the right contact information to get things taken care after the closing has been difficult and not as responsive. My first home was a Pulte home in Texas. I’ve just purchased one in Ohio. Obviously I trust Pulte as a builder.

Working with the sales consultant was great for the most part, until the very end when communication basically stopped. For your sake, I hope you don't have any issues because getting them addressed is time consuming and getting someone to actually help you is difficult. You pay a lot of money for not great service. I continue to notice poor craftmanship in my home and the interior paint job has tons of issues. I really want to rate the experience higher - because I know how hard the employees at Pulte work. Some of the most honest, kind, and hard working folks that really care about what they do. Living in the neighborhood I see how late the project managers work and how during the home buying process the reps make themselves available. At the same time they seem spread really thin, too many projects per person at once. Tyler was excellent during our construction process. He has been very responsive and fixed issues that came up on the day of closing. This is our second Pulte build, Tyler was by far a better representation of Pulte value and trust than our last experience in 2017.
