Delays, delays and more delays only to point figures and trade/subs versus taking ownership and producing the quality product Pulte in known for. Just way to many poor workmanship and quality issues versus quality of work seen in other Pulte developments. Construction Sups try hard, but they are severely limited with their resources and constantly having to address workmanship issues versus a build first-time-right quality standard. This is where Trust was lost and the building a new home experience that was suppose to be positive was taken away. We are very happy that we are finally in our new house and in the Glenmore Neighborhood, but walking through the house daily we are reminded of the poor quality of overall finishes and workmanship which is really disappointing. But, after having a recent meeting with Pulte’s warranty team, they seem to have a positive approach on items and seem to recognize that there are indeed quality of workmanship items that do need to be addressed and have started that process. Again, we are thrilled to be in our new house (our Home), however, it was a very difficult, long and emotional process that no home owner should ever have to go through with a reputable builder such as Pulte. Pulte “Sr Mgmt” failed to step in to drive schedules to get back on track and never once did we here a sincere apology or a sorry for the continued delays and poor quality workmanship. It simply seems Pulte Sr Mgmt are disconnected from the Glenmore Development and perhaps they are the ones that should spend some time with the buyers/customers to understand what has happen with this Glenmore Pulte division. Great buying experience, good communication throughout the process

Our experience has been Pulte has a communication problem. I have had to send multiple emails/texts concerning items to be fixed before getting an acknowledgment or response, there are some items Pulte has yet to respond to. I understand some things are not quick fixes, but some indication my concerns were heard and are being considered would be nice. They were very slow in passing back information during the build; it took several weeks of requests just to find out who our Construction Manager was. The home is nice we enjoy it immensely but Pulte could do better in the area of communicating back to the customer. ... More

Satisfied with overall process. Unfortunately, the closing was rescheduled twice due to completion issues. Difficulty with follow up requests.

We like our new townhome and most of the workmanship is very good. Still, some small glitches are obviously covered over with a little elbow grease and paint. At the right light angle that becomes too obvious. However, I am thrilled with the most of it. Just be aware. Your choices session is WAY too short and pushed>

Poorly built home, no quality control.

I am happy about the plan. But, Quality of workmanship & materials can be improved. I would expect it should be high grade as a national level builder. The wood on the floor has squeaking sounds and it is not flat around the floor. The construction manager says" no home is perfect" before you signs the home closing.

Pulte group has been great! The friendly team has always been reachable and responsive throughout our journey with them. Since they have all the sister-companies to take care of all the concerns of home-buying needs such as Title, insurance, etc. The warranty support and maintenance has been great so far. There were some delays due to COVID-19, Supply shortage, labor shortage, etc. However. Pulte kept us updated on what to expect.

The process to build completion was fraught with frustrations. The Pulte mortgage process was awful - responsiveness was almost zero and had to constantly follow-up and track down the person assigned to my closing. The individual has a permanent out of office set so you cannot reach them. The Pulte construction manager is a negative rating on a scale of 0-10. Responsiveness is non-existent. I was not informed of a supply chain issue with my cabinets. I was not informed of a changed closing date and just happened to find out from Pulte mortgage "Hey, your closing date was pushed a month, did you know?" Non-responsiveness to questions. It is now 1.5 months after closing and the list of items that were supposed to be addressed still sit, waiting. The construction manager responded multiple times that everything would be taken care of that week and...nothing. He advised me not to submit to warranty likely to not have a tracking record. I've stopped asking for fixes and he has not responded. Very disappointing and frustrating. Would not recommend! With so many options in builders out there in this area (and perhaps yours?) carefully research the responsiveness and management of your building process. It makes a huge difference! ... More

Overall experience was terrible. It starts with Sales doing a poor job helping you through the many options. Then it continues with promises from both Sales and the Construction making promises that are never kept. The contracts are written to steer you to use Pulte Mortgage, who is non-responsive unless they want something. Communication is very poor throughout the process. Then to top it off, when you finally get to the ‘Celebration’ phase of the process, the quality of the house they built is not very good. In true Pulte fashion, the final walk through is setup 90 minutes before closing, so you get rushed and miss many of the shoddy items until later. The construction side for the most part went great however the contract/sales side was a total nightmare. We gave our sales rep our check for our earnest money for our lot in November 2021 and despite being told we would have our contract in a week we didn’t get it until March 2022. We asked weekly when we would get our contract and it wasn’t until my husband went to corporate directly we finally got one. They tried to play games and raise the overall price $20K during the process which thankfully didn’t happen. There was total lake of communication and sometimes no response at all to questions from our sales rep. The mortgage side was a total joke as well. We used our own mortgage company because no one at Pulte mortgage seemed to be able to communicate and share the same information. We got several conflicting answers to the same question if we got answers back at all. We are incredibly happy to be in our home but the process of getting there was incredibly frustrating. ... More

The amount of mistakes that had to be redone and corrected was astronomical. It was the norm for things to get done two or three times before they were done in an acceptable manner. And even this wouldn't have happened without us insisting. We noticed workers of all ages and even children and woman doing work. No wonder the exterior paint was a mess, and sloppy work observed. Even after moving in, the stove doesn't work, we have had electrical issues, the front door has been oredered incorrectly twice (still waiting a month later to see if it comes in right on the third try), etc. Part of the problem is just lack of skilled workers, and lack of oversight. I believe Pulte wants to build a quality product, but they are struggling to do so under the post-covid circumstances. ... More

Shawty cheap work! I’m disgusted at the amount of money I paid and the lack of care that went into my house. Can’t get anyone to fix anything properly after several attempts and work orders. Buyers beware!!!

Allow me to begin by saying I believe the design and engineering that goes into a Pulte home is pretty good. This is our third new build home so I do have something to compare it to. That being said, my experience with buying a new Pulte quick move in home has been nothing short of frustrating from the sales side through to now 1 month past move in. The sales people are quick to get you under contract and following that communication sort of drops off a bit. Construction was a little slow getting started and progress was slow due to having gone through two different construction managers before getting to our third one who finally was excellent. He communicated very well and tried very hard to make up for lost time. In the end we closed about one week later than expected. While the work he managed went very well, after move in we found the quality of some of the trades used was a little sub par. Particularly the painting we found to be very thin on walls, with poor coverage throughout the home, as well as a fair amount of overspray and sloppy painting on interior doors. Some minor hardware was not installed by closing and now two months later it's been a struggle to get it put up. A plumbing issue that was identified at our post closing walk through with our Pulte warranty manager took three weeks to get corrected. While the balance of our identified issues are not urgent to be fixed, we have yet to hear how and when they will be addressed. I believe most of the material used in the home is of excellent quality with no complaints of fixtures, windows, doors and HVAC, however some of the appliances are of a low quality. Particularly the dishwasher which is a low builders grade quality priced online at around $350. Overall I'm not yet sorry I decided to go with Pulte, but based on our experience I wouldn't expect to move into your new Pulte home problem free, unlike our first two new builds. ... More

Building a home in this crazy home environment is not easy. Having a great Construction Manager makes a huge difference. He made sure everything was to our liking. If something wasn’t done correct, he made sure it was fixed.

There were quite a few issues with the house from day one. We now have a timeline for fixing most issues, but it has taken a month to get movement on some issues. The most critical issues (toilets backed up, shower not draining and water pouring into porch) we’re corrected in a timely manner. We are still awaiting our wine fridge. It does not appear that a great deal of attention to detail was provided by the tradespeople. We do love our home and look forward to enjoying it once the issues are corrected.

Great overall experience and we are extremely pleased with the quality of our new home.

Purchased Corporate spec. Disappointed not able to make a couple reasonable and needed changes for safety and security. I am an 81-year-old buyer. Construction supervision excellent. Communication and responses excellent. Warranty questions and service so far excellent.

The overall buying experience was great. Working with Pulte Mortgage and insurance was easy. Being out-of-state made it difficult to take care of any issues prior to closing. I had two virtual walk throughs but you can’t catch hidden flaws that you normally would catch in person. Trying to get the right contact information to get things taken care after the closing has been difficult and not as responsive. My first home was a Pulte home in Texas. I’ve just purchased one in Ohio. Obviously I trust Pulte as a builder.

Working with the sales consultant was great for the most part, until the very end when communication basically stopped. For your sake, I hope you don't have any issues because getting them addressed is time consuming and getting someone to actually help you is difficult. You pay a lot of money for not great service. I continue to notice poor craftmanship in my home and the interior paint job has tons of issues. It simply wasn't possible to catch everything during our walk through and now what was missed we are stuck with. My floor creaks all over my bedroom. I really want to rate the experience higher - because I know how hard the employees at Pulte work. Some of the most honest, kind, and hard working folks that really care about what they do. Living in the neighborhood I see how late the project managers work and how during the home buying process the reps make themselves available. At the same time they seem spread really thin, too many projects per person at once. I think sometimes folks would mix up our home with others in their update, there wasnt always a clear path to what would get worked on when, there was delays for a bunch of reasons outside of folks control but sometimes the transparency wasnt there. ... Tyler was excellent during our construction process. He has been very responsive and fixed issues that came up on the day of closing. This is our second Pulte build, Tyler was by far a better representation of Pulte value and trust than our last experience in 2017.
