This is my first time owning a home. The house is big but it’s made as cheaply as possible, super sloppy work. The floor is what’s called a floating floor, so you have your little kids running around or you walk around, the entire floor shakes, kitchen silverware rattles. No attention to details, you will have crooked walls, some spaced are bigger than others and not symmetrical.

I have had multiple issues since moving in that should have been prevented. The internet company had to pull all new wire throughout the house because the cabling built into the house did not work. I’ve had an appliance guy come out became the dishwasher water supply was not working and once that worked the dishwasher did not drain. Most recently there is no cold water in the guest shower because the pipe is allegedly filled with glue and blocking the cold water supply. These issues require me to take additional time off of work and should have been tested and discovered at the time of install. Service requests after closing has been terrible. Lack of communication. Don't come on time or answer me. Warranty manager is great at Woodland Hill. Service manager ignores everything and does not show up.

My grass was not level from front to the back on my house. Looks so ugly like that please I need all my glass to be one level thank you.

There are many cosmetic details that can look worse over time, the finishes on the doors and other details did not leave me satisfied.

Don’t trust quality of workmanship get it inspected don’t close until everything is fixed and they will make excuses for most problems in the house walls they will look at from 6 feet away to see if they’re straight sliding door glasses. They will look at 9 feet away for scratches and many other problems that may not be resolved.

Love my house, but I noticed that some work could have been better. I feel like the workmanship was rushed, mistakes were made when they could have been avoided.

Overall quality of build doesn't seems to be great. Wish I had a better construction manager ( My construction manager: Colin).

We loved our sales person and our contractor before we bought was awesome. After we bought, it has been so hard to get anyone to respond: we had issues with broken glass doors, cabinets not installed well. Two months in no one has showed up to fix them. Multiple shelves with damage in the kitchen (the guy who installed them should be fired). Now we have backup of sewage and after frantically calling, very rude plumbing contractor (pulte’s) came. We can’t use our toilets or take showers much less wash clothes or dishes. We spent a fortune for this house and I can tell you builders with half this price have way better quality, workmanship and follow up. ... More

Closets not durable, we’re not anchored well to the studs, had to put longer nails for durability

Has issues with flooring and lots of noise from neighbors even if they are walking in their own second floor

Drywall work in house was terrible walls are crooked and can see seems especially in the garage painting is terrible had to repaint the entire inside of house would work was terribly painted dirt everywhere in paint very difficult to sand out also woodwork was pieced together with six to eight inch pieces in a row just very very poor craftsmanship not worth the money flooring is making crackling noises when walked upon refrigerator door opening was made the wrong side and had to be completely reconstructed would not recommend to anyone

The contractors that built the home are careless and don’t consider the home is for the future homeowner and not for them. Nails and cigarette butts are strewn on the side of the driveway. Certain parts of the house is incomplete, and this is NOT due to supply issues. Very disappointing.

Check your home thoroughly craftmenship is not good

With numerous curved or bowed walls, workmanship is not the word I would use. This obviously shows that the job supervisors were not observing the quality of work being preformed. Communication was poor form the site supervisors. The home buying experience was great. Robb did a wonderful job and kept us in the loop on everything.

I face multiple problems. I call at helpline desk , email them , but still waiting let’s seee how it takes more

I have been waiting 7 weeks for repairs to be completed. Broken cabinets were installed. Sloppy paint work. Drywallers dry walled over 2 WAP outlets, 1 electrical outlet, 1 surround sound outlet and a kitchen recessed light. The doorbell stucco looks bad, because it was broken to find the doorbell. The repair work is sloppy and obvious. The house was full of sawdust, and not clean. The tile was dirty. Grout is breaking on edges. A private inspection revealed we have loose parts on the roof and extra tiles just left behind on the roof. That’s a safety issue. The insulation was substituted with fiberglass. We were told it would be cellulose. Your website mentions cellulose insulation. The insulation was completed in August or September, but we were notified after signing. We were packed and on our way when I received the email. One reason we bought this house is for the borate cellulose insulation. We want pulte to replace the insulation. Pulte didn’t notify us to give us an option to not sign the closing papers. We signed with the information that borate insulation would be installed. Also, why are they repairing broken cabinets on a new house? It’s new! We paid almost 100k over the price of the house down the street. The house next door was reduced by 100k. Pulte told us they were helping us by reducing the price to 739. Other same model homes have more upgrades, and are 645k, 713k, 709k, 724k, We were going to lose our deposit if we didn’t pay 739k. Our shaker cabinets do not have pulls. We have to kneel down to open lower cabinets, so we can open upper drawers. Really? Pulte couldn’t add cabinet pulls? the weekly emailed updates were greatly appreciated since I was moving from out of town. quality of deliverables, meh. This being my first new home purchase, I had expectations of quality work. A lack of care/quality was evident when I moved in.

The buying experience was great! I love my home! Just disappointed with many of the finishing 'touches'. Trim work on stairs is less than stellar, almost amateur, there are holes in the sheetrock where plumbing is attached and the cabinets have many dings. Those are a few items on my list.

The finishing of the inside doors and the dry wall in the corners is very bad. (Very sloppy, not good quality workmanship. Obviously whoever did it didn’t take pride in their work.

We bought a house with Pulte, and we had 2 separate field managers, initially, there was an error in the construction of the house, the height of one of the rooms was not at the designated height, it was caught later on and work had advanced so the room was not fixed, it was left as is, the quality of work inside is not the best, in the ceiling the where two sheets of sheetrock adjoin its easy to tell because the ceiling dips down, it is easily seen throughout the whole house, the paint is the lowest quality, we touch the wall and they are immediately stained, there were several issues that were brought up before closing and 2.5 months after closing we are still waiting for them to be addressed. the sodding of the yard in the back was done in a sloppy manner, there are gaps between sodding lines which will need to be filled in to prevent an uneven lawn. ... Honestly I just spent a month in the new home and all the stairway is cracking and I remembered I told the building manager about this during home walk. I hate the noise that came out of stairway whenever am going up and down the house.
