make sure what model and plane you select, after signing the contract it's difficult to change. Same as design center to choose items.

Some Great: Pulte Title (Rose), Pulte River Hall (Amanda), Building crew manager (thank you Jared!), PROBLEM And Major Challenge: Pulte "back office" has their own schedule and for a cash sale on a Pulte Builder Spec Home ALREADY COMPLETED MONTHS PRIOR - they tried to put us into their "box" instead of expiditing when there is NO MORTGAGE , house "blessed" by construction & head of River Hall community, nor any other possible delays tried to make us wait with the rest & tried to delay our closing. Quality of home and materials was overall up to standards and workmanship was 8 out of 10. Our building manager was knowledgeable and responsive. Some original design decisions were unusual and sometimes difficult to make a change. Appliance quality was satisfactory but upgrades not available. Fair price. Home buying process and staying on schedule was very good however.

Our building manager, Don H, was very responsive. He addressed our issues in timely manner. Our sales person did use the sales tactics and said prices are going up "next week." Eight months later, I saw that the price remained the same. I am disappointed.

I must say, we have only been there 2 months, so it may be too soon to rate it. We would know more in 11 months. We had a good experience through out the build. But I am truly disappointed, rather, upset by how the final presentation was given. I had asked 2-3 times if they will clean the house before we move in and it was overwhelmingly a disappointment. Yes, the house was cleaned but not well enough. After a clean, workers would come back with dirty shoes and track the dirt through out the house. Why do they not cover the floors with either cardboard or paper? I have been told twice that ...

We started this in June and moved in January, and the entire process was seamless. Our complaints are with the trades. There are so many oops in our home that need to be fixed that we feel bad for the project manager. We have baseboards with dents and door frames with notches that clearly should have never passed final inspection. We have walls that had indents that the painters completely missed. Although we know it’s hard to find good workers some of these people really need to be let go. The quality of materials used is what drew me to the Pulte Homes at the beginning of my search for a new home. Pulte in comparison to the other builders, the Pulte Homes aren’t just cheaply put together. I also like that they offer the larger homes with large lots where you have space & privacy from your neighbors. The homes are strategically placed to give the homeowners the utmost privacy.

I'd have liked to give 5 stars instead of 4 stars, but the inability to make changes to customize was an issue. No pocket door option, no custom-built closets, and having to buy packages of appliances with no individual appliance choices were issues for me. The home we built on the East Coast gave us these options. Our construction manager David was fabulous though.

Even though it is a brand new home I recommend hiring a independent inspector. He was able to find things we missed or would not have become aware of until down the line.

I liked the interactive floorpan with measurements along with the furniture tools. This was helpful to plan for an unbuilt home. Seeing a model with furniture is also helpful. I feel like the home is solid/well built. The tile floor was done perfectly but the bathrooms are still being worked on. If I had to do it over again I would have chosen the tub shower route - the huge expensive walk in shower is not worth the money. There is no hand held shower, and it feels like a waste of space. The process of purchasing a Pulte home went smoothly. They did an ex job keeping me up to date on the build progress. The inspection before move in went well. The home was spotless. We found a lot of small items that needed to be fixed. However, the final inspection on the day of closing went well. All items were fixed, but the workers left a mess behind. My suggestion would be to wait to clean the condo until all items were fixed, and have them fixed before the close date.

This is my 2nd Pulte home and I had very good experience with the first house with the Quality so I chose Pulte again. I am very pleased with the design, work completed early, quality and the people I worked with. If there could be any improvements, I would suggest follow-ups after closures for the items that need to be fixed. I found that some of the companies do not respond for technical issues or repairs. It was great to have a project manager so engaged.

Experience was great. However, after moving in the house began having issues that were easy to resolve. Alot of cracking in the walls began and the house was 1 month old. The garage had alot of imperfections such as just tears from were they cut, as if it the workers didn't care. The bathroom door everytime we shower it leaks out since the seal was place all across instead it was just halfway. Only thing I recommend buyers is to take your time during the walkthrough. Don't feel rushed because they are trying to just get it out of the way asap.

We love our new Pulte home! However…… we still are surrounded by new construction so we’ve had a lot of issues with that. Our internet cable has been dug up & cut 3 times. Workers have come into our yard and use our water several times (until we put a lock on the faucet). Lots of trash blown into our yard, Other than that, we like our house and it seems to be very good quality. Looking forward for the surrounding construction to be completed.

We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and response to after sales issues. We are not so pleased with the communication received during the build. We lived out of state during the construction so we relied on the sales consultant and construction manager for timely and accurate updates on progress and delays. The updates were few and far between. We only received then after much prodding and several on-site visits from us.

Our new home is pleasant and as we expected in most features. The features that are especially helpful are the attention to soundproofing between houses, the amount of closets/storage space inside of the house, the size of the master bedroom and bath, and little extra features like the sliding patio door with screen that lets in lots of fresh air. For the most part we are happy with our Pulte Home buying experience. The house is very quite and seems well built and the people on the home buying team were courteous and responsive. However, the upgrades are far too expensive ( especially the flooring) and they don't paint the garage interior which to me, is just downright cheap for the price we paid and the landscape plants and trees are not the best. Still a pretty good experience but could have been better.
