The house itself is great for the most part. Once closing takes place, they forget about you. We've had to beg for 6 weeks to get the final grade completed. Lack of response to e-mails and texts is maddening. There is still a list of items that need done. In summary: pre-close, great (A+) - post-close, horrible (F).

First let me say we do like our new home. During building we had to contact the project manager due to poor workmanship and poor overall quality of finished work. Our major issue that remains unresolved and frankly ignored by Pulte is the driveway. We purchased this model to have two bays one specifically for a golf cart. The driveway is too narrow and of shape making it impossible to use the golf cart bay. We are reaching our tolerance for action by Pulte and reaching out for legal advice.

Pulte Homes staff are in an excellence category of their own! From the initial tour of the home, and through the lending process, and final inspection, they have been responsive and understanding. The quality and workmanship of their homes is incredible and I am very happy with my purchase! Everyone deserves to be happy and excited about purchasing a new home! Our construction manager made the difference. He was excellent. Our 30 day follow up has been on time and they have just about got everything complete that needed repaired or replaced. So far so good.

Initial impression upon closing was great. A week of living in the house revealed several issues. The LED ceiling lights were hanging out of the ceiling, later found that this was because ceiling drywall was not cured when they were installed. A week after move-in, all drains were blocked. Main sewer line from house was clogged with construction debris. Plumber said this happens about 25% of the time. Why not clear the drains before closing? Also, once closing occurs, your project manager ends any responsibility for your home - you have to go through Pulte maintenance now. Overall happy, but ...

Workmanship was horrible! Office customer service was not good! Was told we were buying certain options later to find out towards the end when they were putting materials into the house that tons of options changed and wasn’t updated to us the homebuyers. Carpet was dirty with stains and not takes down in lots of areas of the house. Under the carpet was not cleaned and you can fell it everywhere when you walk in the carpet. The paint was horrible. The house was not cleaned and the painters painted all over the dirt and it looks horrible. Lots of areas were not caulked. The master tub had a ...
