Bought a new home from Pulte that was an inventory home. Quality is what you would expect for an inventory home built in 2025, although there were some upgrades in this home. Pulte has been great, allowing us time to discover glitches that were not caught in the building process. Repairs have been prompt. No complaints. Because Pulte does not have a long history in Utah, I am a little concerned about the craftsmanship used to build these homes, time will tell.

Terrific location and floor plan. Hallways are beautifully done, well lit and very clean. However, major drawback is that there was no real plan in place for visitor parking. Truly nowhere close by! Garage is convenient but only one designated handicap space in a building that attracted many seniors.

We were very happy with the Pulte homebuying experience, until an incident that happened at the very end. We specifically selected a lot in the subdivision with a prime view of a small lake. However, just before closing our lot was landscaped with a large holly tree right in front of the lanai, significantly blocking our view of the lake from our home. Despite several pleas to both Pulte, and the homeowner's association, we were told we could not have the tree relocated, This marred what had been an excellent homebuying experience up to that point.

Pulte homes in Deerlake Ranch provide beautiful and luxury house at reasonable pricing. Being located in a good neighborhood and close to highway and Porter Ranch and Canoga Park gives you lots of opportunities. The neighbors are very friendly and everyone is trying to make a community here. Houses have been built with good design and are very spacious. The quality of material and built if OK and not really high. They could have done a better job as sometimes you see things like constant lighting flickers or sounds in your vents and also stain on counters that shows better materials could ...

Our original PM was extremely responsive and was able to get workman to quickly address issues. At the 30 day mark a new PM was assigned and it has has been a little slower, probably due to the holiday’s and weather in getting to our punch list items. Both PM’s have been easy to work with.

Workmanship is good considering the allowed materials. My complaints are regarding materials. Flat paint is bad. It cannot be washed. I would have rather been given an allowance for appliances because these are REALLY BASIC. Jered’s explanations of everything were very comprehensive. Any issues I reported to be addressed have been so far taken care of in a timely manner.

I was impressed by the professionalism and effort of all of the Pulte staff. The unit was in excellent shape with very few defects. The unit was very slow in being delivered. Sure the NatGrid was late. But after they finished, not much happened. Very inconvenient for someone who is spending that much money. Overall the quality of the appliances is mediocre. The heating unit and washer/dryer are exceptionally loud.

The whole experience was professional, and facilitated to make it easy and timely. I am a bit astonished as the very very poor quality of the bathroom hardware but esp. the cheapness of the shower. Esp. In an over 55 community.. But I trusted without looking.

We wanted to make very minor changes to a processed that was rushed. We were under the impression that we could. Instead, we found out that simple changes in the framing process that would help us on the back end were not an option. Pulte builds a good production home, but do not believe for a second that you can make changes or modifications. Otherwise, a great house and a good experience.

Final inspections are so important

Overall experience with buying a new home at The Heights in San Mateo was good, though there were a few fixes that needed to be made after I moved in. After I moved in, I had to deal with issues that should have been discovered and addressed prior to my move-in, including a heater constantly tripping a breaker, issues with the solar, upside down register, non-working doorbell, etc. These should have been issues caught in their final inspections. Pulte has been responsive about the fixes, but I wish I didn't have to deal with them at all.

Too many people to deal with. Should have a point person to coordinate. Also, were pretty responsive but did not like the immediate first response by the CM to an issue was essentially 'not our problem'. With no investiagtion., But they then came around to at least investigate.

Pulte builders are great, mortgage needs lots of help

Builders are great , Pulte mortgage was terrible and almost made us lose our new home, had switch lenders and they were able to close us in one week, while Pulte mortgage had us in underwriting for over a month with no updates .

Found the mortgage process more daunting than we have with other financial institutions. Make sure you are thorough going through documents as there were some corrections that needed to be made in our application. Seems like some building steps along the way were rushed. The after closing fix it crews have been amazing in fixing all issues that have come up and on a timely manner!

Very good experience from home research through the final build out. One stop shop from the lot, mortgage, insurance, design, construction, and closing of the loan. All phases of the project superintendent was key to making it all come together, very invested, experienced, and hands on getting the quality construction completed on time with excellent quality control. Post takeover any warranty issues were handled promptly and efficiently.

The most consistent part of our experience was the construction of the home. Our construction manager was forthright, communicated promptly and demonstrated complete control over all phases of the build. He was highly knowledgeable and personable.

Overall the experience was slightly above satisfactory. However, there are certain aspects to the process that one might regard as a bit disingenuous. First, the selection process for the lot where the home was to be built. In our case, the open lots were tiered such that one would believe the home to be built next to your home would be somewhat lower than your home giving a different perspective when looking out your main great room windows. Unfortunately, we were wrong in that assumption. What we now have is a perfect view of the side of our neighbors home that now towers over ours. ...

Go through your own bank do not go through Pulte for financing. My experience was good with everything and everybody except the financing side of things. The finance part was the worst experience i ever had. I almost gave up on the purchase because of the financing department.
