The home itself and the sales person are fine, The title company was rude and unresponsive. The follow up on punch list items is hampered by covid so not fair to rate.I did find Pulte very inflexible with regard to final walk through which cost us a lot of money and time.

I didn’t really want to move here. I had lived in Carrollton for over forty years and many of my friends are there, but family concerns took precedent...the house of fine. It’s built like a tank, but the garage is ridiculously small. That’s my only beef...everything else is fine. The neighborhood is cool.

This is our first home and I'd say that except for a small detail we're pretty happy. So far we didn't find any major defects or things that can't be quickly solved with the exception of one thing: a fan on the roof. The architect (i'm guessing) thought it was a great idea to put a high power fan on the very top of the building, dead center in the middle on our master bedroom roof. We're trying to figure out, still unsuccessfully, what to do about it.

Pulte was responsive to our concerns of after sale issues. While the finishing painters were not the best and I would have a hard time calling the landscapers...landscapers, over all we love the house and are pleased with our purchase. Our salesperson was the best! And our coordinator for picking out interior design was also good, she really knew how to put everything together.

Do a thorough inspection of your new home. I found a few things that need fixing. Luckily it's under warranty. Door sticking, Rattling noise in the air vent, hole on the master bathroom dry wall, hardwood floors has scratches in bedroom, hallway, kitcken, kitchen cabinet pullout drawer where stuck missing screws, front porch and back patio ceiling needs to be repainted. I loved the layout of the house. And most of all, I do like the location it is close to everything. Kroger, Publix, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, Sam's Club, and fast foods.

Beware you can get decision fatigue from all the choices you have to make when you design a home from scratch. At one point we said yes to a shower head upgrade that Pulte charged $1,700 for and we later found on Amazon for $149. When we pointed that out, they were unwilling to make an adjustment. Otherwise, the buying experience was very pleasant. Unfortunately, our move in has been postponed indefinitely because of the corona pandemic, so we can't speak to how livable the house is just yet.

So far, I am excited about my new Pulte home, and overall I feel that my experiences were generally positive. The sales agent, Tamu, in particular was incredible to work with and very helpful. I do have some reservations about aspects of the closing, as it was moved up by a week due to nearing the end of the year, which led to many aspects feeling rushed. This is all the more frustrating due to progressively finding more concerns about the home over the almost 2 months living here, including areas that corners were cut or elements that are not working as intended (or at all). We love our home, no question. However, we were disappointed that the gentleman who took us through our final walkthrough promised that certain issues that were spotted would be taken care of. They were not. Nothing major, some doors needed spot painting, a toilet paper dispenser was missing, A/C documentation was never delivered, etc. We decided to wait until the 9 month inspection period to bring these issues up again. We do enjoy the home and the area, The quality of the home in general is good. We look forward to living out our retirement years here.

Overall I am happy with the purchase of my new home however there’s been little things here n there that I feel could’ve been done better. The paint on the exterior n interior are not good quality, I see chipping already. Interior painting of the house seems to have been rushed in my opinion. Thank you

Overall, we are extremely happy with our house. However, there have definitely been issues. I won't go into all the detail but we've had small issues with flooring, caulking, a bad smoke detector, a cracked doorknob, a damaged window frame, etc. - you get the idea. In short, I would say that Pulte cares enough that they are willing to fix issues (even though some issues are requiring me to be more persistent) but not enough that they just did it the right way. There was even a snarking email in response to the cracked doorknob calling us out for not calling it out during our walkthrough. ...

Quality of products used ie: bathroom fixtures and paint is mediocre. Planning of kitchen has several issues that could be prevented . For what I paid for the unit materials are subpar .

The sales agent that helped us was phenomenal! She took the time to explain everything, never acted like we took up too much of her time or like we weren't worth bothering with. She was patient, helpful and went above and beyond. The gentleman that walked us through the home was pleasant but kinda snarky and seemed like he wanted to get to his next appointment but did answer our questions and was helpful. Jayne was awesome. The mortgage team was okay, sometimes rude. Jason was okay, very helpful up until I told him I finished the review he asked me to fill out positively for him. Then he got less responsive and dismissed what to me was a glaring defect in one of their repairs.

The sales rep was great. We got what we asked for. The appliances for what we paid were abysmal. We could not opt out on the purchase of the stove that was provided. The dishwasher was of poor quality. The handle fell off in 6 weeks. The quality that Pulte claims to provide is not what we received.

The process of building our house was great. Very accommodating with a few extra things that we wanted. But some of the workmanship was below average. Some things were not level or square and other things if not pointed out would not have been corrected
