Nothing can be 100% perfect, Pulte did meet my expectation with 95% !! Quality is good so far in one month, I guess it all depend on the contactor manager and in my case Bob was excellent to listen and response. So far I am happy with everything.

Lots of issues with this new build, and very slow response to fixing the issues. Thought the Pulte brand would signify high quality and dependability. Not seeing that so far.

From the first day that we toured the model to being in our new home for a month, Pulte has been wonderful to work with. Between Khalid and Ali, every single question has been answered, our worries were taken care of, and they have been there for every step of the way. This process was beyond simple for us and we are so thankful!

Overall terrible experience. Would not buy again. Multiple sales reps/field reps. Had to do everything myself and follow up on everything on my own. Everything was incorrect and had to be adjusted on the go. Would not have been fixed if I was not on top of the entire build. Would never suggest to anyone.

We are so thrilled with the finished product of our new Pulte Home. We went with the Allison Floor Plan which is perfect for our family. It was a bumpy road getting through construction but now that we are in, the product is beautiful and we are so thrilled with the home and our neighborhood!

Issues are responded to in a timely manner. Remain ongoing and in my opinion it’s the poor quality of sub contractors that created the issues in the first place and have extremely poor response times. Understanding the issues with supply chain and labor force, this has still be a horrible experience.

Throughout the purchase process, there were problems at every stage. Some highlights… *Sales* - did not review all the features available for structure (must select at contract) and we missed out on features we wanted and were told we could select at design. Also were sold features that were not possible with our HOA, resulting from incorrect marketing descriptions. Was fortunate to receive a credit for the inconvenience. Home was closed with bunch of punch points,All punch points not been cleared after 2 months of closing .. whenever we are asking to pulte team they’d did not resounded on time. Incomplete work left at the time of closing and was promised to fix right away but still not fixed. It’s been almost 3 months now, yet our garage isn’t fixed.

Workmanship with the Contractor - trade companies.

During the final walk thru we found problem with, cabinets, flooring, tile and roofing. Numerous work orders were put in but either trade people did not show up or they did not attempt to fix the problems. When you pay 1/2 million for a home we would expect quality workmanship. I believe builders are pressured to get homes built. Our Project Manager tried the best of his ability, but if the Contractors don’t Care then there is not a whole lot he can do on his own.

I closed on my Edgewater property on May 9. I am still waiting for the painters to paint the concrete wall that patch a hole in the garge and a baseboard in the kitchen and a slider to keep the guest bedroom closet door in place. I waited from 1-4 last Friday and one person came out and glued the house back on my house for the second time. The grab bars I was promised were never installed in my shower either. This process started out well, weekly calls with the builder as the house was being prepared. They were very open and up front about issues they were facing, and the sales and financing process went very smoothly. (We used Pulte Mortgage) The issues started around close and in hind-site, we should have spent a few extra weeks in the hotel and let them actually complete the home. At the time of close, there were several outstanding items, from a loaner dishwasher to swaths of the house unpainted. Once you make your decision they lose motivation to do anything. Don't take their word at face value. Check and doublecheck. Because they will tell you one thing and do something different or nothing at all.

It’s usually the “unresolved” issues that get magnified and thus ruin a good rating. I specified during the design phase that I would be needing grab bars in the shower and paid for it. During delivery I was told that the installation of grab bars was not specified in any work order. Then when I pointed it out in one of the printed out work orders, I was told that they only do the backing. In the mean time, 7 days into occupying the house, I slipped and fell in the shower and ended up with a 5-stitches laceration in the arm. First I want to highlight Steven. He was truly amazing in the entire home buying experience. I never felt like the ball was being dropped nor like any questions were being unanswered. We have cosmetic flaws, some more unsatisfactory small pea size pit and chipped wood exposed on exterior surfaces the of the cabinets; to minor blemishes, cracks in paint at joints or filled in cracks to conceal, but visible; to a huge crack in the bottom shelf of the wall cabinet likely caused by installation of the under cabinet lights. These have been reported on their Customer Service website, but have yet to be resolved. We finally moved into the house a little over a month ago. Overall, we enjoyed the process and I would recommend Pulte to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, good-quality house. This was the first house that we build and we were not privy to all the detailed decisions we have to make immediately.
