Everything was done on time. Anything I emailed to Diane and Dustin was was answered the same day. They allowed me to change my counter top. I had a problem with garage door opener he came the next day and gave me a new key pad. Just waiting for a kitchen screen. Thanks a great experience for for a newly widower that hasn’t moved in 45 years.

Terrible Build Quality and Supervision of Subcontractors

I would have answered the 15 question build questions completely differently after I moved in if I had uncovered all the problems with my house. The ONLY thing that went well was the title company for this all cash purchase. My punch list is over 20 items long and no one provides updates on anything. The completely wrong counter/sink/mirror/light bar configuration was installed in my master bath. The data panel/closet in the garage has an electrical outlet that is not connect to anything and the other bathroom has a light fixture was not installed and is sitting on the toilet tank. Builder uses COVID excuses for 95% of issues that arise during the whole process. In-house financing also does not communicate well or work to make a decent homebuying value. Foundation and framing are good quality work. Finishers are rushed and have poor quality of work.

Be prepared to be a project manager if you decide to build here. We experienced multiple misrepresentations, poor communication, and very little accountability. We fully understand supply shortages and labor issues but the poor communication was fully within the team’s control. We constantly had to request updates and track product delays ourselves. They constantly weaponized our closing date whenever we attempted to hold them accountable for build errors, missing items, and damages to our home. I’m just glad it’s over and can put this experience with Melissa and Matt behind us.

The buying process was smooth. I was expecting a higher grade of materials and appliances. Craftsmanship was lacking in the overall build. Areas that needed touch up are being addressed, but still not complete. We do like the neighborhood and the style of home is just right for us.

I did not have the best buying experience with Pulte from the mortgage issues to some of the details in the workmanship. I know the mortgage company is "separate" from the builder, however this is not my first new build and from past experiences with other builders, this one by far not the best experience. I had several issues upon moving in. The construction manager was great to work with but some of the other contacts did not live up to my expectations.

everything was good except for the grass ..they put the grass very dry and dead already,, I had to water it every day..that it cost a lot of money in water bill already.. the sprinklers stopped working….I sent the complaint but nobody has answered me

Don’t buy a Pulte home, that’s what I would say to other buyers. Though we worked with some good people, the company as a whole is terrible. They know you can’t afford to walk because of the now much higher prices, and they clearly take advantage of that. Have an issue, tough? We’ll get to it when we get to it. Regardless of how long that may be. They see no reason not to sell a house, even though they don’t have enough people to build them, or enough people to repair them when they are complete. The fact that I even got into Wild Blue in the first place is an absolute fluke. Luck was on my side and I was able to get one of the very last lots that were available and a nicer, more exclusive, higher-end property. This was a wonderful experience. The sales persons that we worked with were patient and helpful. The construction manager Chadd, was helpful with weekly updates and quick replies to my emails. There were some delays due to the winter weather but construction construction progressed quickly. The only stress was related to our other home to be sold and planning for moving. We had a great experience with the sales team. Buying was an easy process. There were a lot of delays and hiccups during the build but we expected that and completely understood. Unfortunately, the communication from our field manager was very poor. He rarely gave us updates, was difficult to get a hold of, and sometimes wouldn’t respond to our calls, texts, or emails for weeks. We finally closed 6 months after our expected closing date. Was a nightmare with the realtor and the constructor , both doesnot have responsability, care, worst treatment we can imagine, I know the is not a Pulte im blaming for the constuction side and realtor, but you have to select better who will works for your company, you have a name that you have take care , The house was delivered with a lot of things to need to be fix , they did not clenned after construction , the material I cant choose the color or the floor. Bad comunication with constructor .

We did not enter into the home buying process looking for a new build. We stumbled across Pulte by accident, but what an amazing accident it was. The sales associate (Tim) was great help throughout the showing, answering all of our questions. The Pulte mortgage team was also great, the process a little tedious, but their incentives and final price could not be beat. The home is amazing and all the warranties are great and easy to access. Overall, we are incredibly happy with our home and can't wait to spend many years here. I highly recomment Pulte.
